Genuine cocktails made from scratch. Super cool vibe, friendly laid back bartenders who actually want to make sure you get the drink you want and will love. Worth the cost of the cocktails as these are very high end drinks you can actually taste and enjoy.

Been several times, it never disappoints. If not our favorite bar here in Colorado, definitely top 3. All bartenders are attentive, friendly and greatly skilled at their craft. For a few months now, since we started coming here, it is the same staff. That speaks volumes of the consistency and quality that goes into the service and drinks. This is a must visit place when we have guest from out of town. I recommend you ask for a bartenders choice, based on your preferred tasting notes, they’ll whip something up you will enjoy.

A proper bar in downtown Denver. A little small, but cozy spot. Pretty good atmosphere and it's lay back. Parking is a little annoying, but everything else is good.

Great spot. We had just finished dinner and we were strolling through Denver. Randomly walked into Union Lodge and had to stay. The lighting and atmosphere is super moody. The drinks menu is impressive and the drinks were amazing.

I've been to Union Lodge No. 1 several times on dates and tried new drinks every time. I am consistently impressed with their mixologists and the passion and skill they put into crafting their truly impressive cocktails. This is the best cocktail lounge I've been to in Colorado, and it's probably one of my top 5 internationally. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a fancy sip, some fun fire tricks, and a dark, classy lounge to relax in.

I stopped in for some cocktails on a Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. My first drink was the Absinthe Cocktail and I was not prepared for the pageantry that accompanied it! The bartender flamed génépy and poured it over a strainer of mint before finally pouring water over, all while explaining the components of the drink and the purpose of the flames. The drink was delicious! My second drink was the Union Gin Fizz, and the technique on display was impressive. Just look at the lift on that foam! My only regret is that I couldn't stay to drink another cocktail!

Great place for drinks. It's a cool bar with a lot of history. The staff really know what they're talking about and can answer any questions. Their cocktail menu is diverse, and in a group of five, all of us enjoyed what we got. Cool friendly atmosphere, not too loud, would definitely recommend visiting.

Incredible high quality service. The drinks were insanely strong, I never thought I would actually complain about that but I had a hard time finishing my drinks because they were so strong. The ambiance is really cool, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great vibe, just make sure you really like a strong drink.

it's a craft cocktails place. there are many choices. The staff has a very good knowledge about the drinks. Do not hesitate to ask them if u don't know what drinks u wanna get. This place is limited area so there required the vaccination card to get in. so Make sure u have it in paper or on the phone is ok too. I like the decoration of the place too. if you are near by, it's a good idea to stop by for a drink.

Among the best bars I have visited. I have literally nothing negative to say. Premium ingredients, supreme attention to detail, fantastic leather-bound menu (goodbye QR codes), excellent barware, and very efficient bartenders! Go early as it's popular!

Incredible cocktail bar with an exhaustive list of unique meticulously crafted cocktails to choose from. High quality mixers and liquors combine with excellent service, showmanship and honestly artistry from the bartenders to craft an excellent experience. The only thing better than the cocktails they made was watching these pros go through the process of making them! Small space overall, however, so you may need to wait to get in. Highly recommend!

The drinks here WOW. Just WOW. Each drink is crafted perfectly made with love, time, and patience. I've traveled and visited many speakeasy type establishments and the drinks here are some of the finest on my list. I just want to go back for more. Service amazing also. The only thing I would say that feels different is the vibe. You think with drinks of this caliber you would have a speakeasy type vibe with the music to match instead of playing 90s alternative.. Which for some isn't a bad thing at all- cause it's casual and chill. I thought the vibe was going to be different, but casual and chill works for me also, it just didn't match the caliber of the product.

A pleasant and unassuming cocktail bar in downtown Denver. I was very impressed by the time and care put into not only the ingredients, but the authenticity of how the cocktails are made. The staff are are very knowledgeable about their process and even history of the drinks. The atmosphere is classy with a Denver 'casual' vibe. I was in and out in 20min before a show on a Friday night; although I might have been lucky, as there was only 1 seat available at the bar when I walked in with 'no reservation.' Not sure if they do take reservations actually. I'll definitely be back to this laid back artisanal cocktail bar next time I'm in town.

Visited on a Monday night after dinner with a group of 5 - seated right away at a tabletop for 4 with one standing. It was fully packed - surprising for a Monday night! Bartenders were very friendly, and the drinks were delicious - Green Swizzle, Pineapple Julep, and Absinthe Cocktail. Would recommend for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail - speakeasy vibes.

My absolute FAVORITE place for classic cocktails!! They specialize in pre-prohibition drinks and do not disappoint. The bar tenders are knowledgeable and know their lineup like the back of their hand (plus any classic you can think of.) I have literally nothing bad to say about this place and the people who work here 💕

Fantastic atmosphere and craft cocktails. We went for my birthday and got a table right away around 7:30p on a Saturday. There was a line of people waiting to get in by the time we left at 8:30. The bartenders are amazing and super helpful at figuring out what you like. It's a small, intimate place and doesn't feel too crowded. Bathrooms are in a shared building space with a door code that they will provide you with.

By far the best cocktail bar I’ve visited. The staff are amazing, so attentive and they know how to make something you’re going to like that’s not on the menu - just tell them what you do and don’t like. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

One of my favorite craft cocktail places in Denver that I’ve been to so far. Small and dark inside but have always been able to get a spot fairly quickly even though it is always pretty busy regardless if weekday or not. I love the seasonal menus they put out, I’ve tried most drinks on the winter seasonal list and a handful of the newer seasonal and have never had a drink I didn’t like. The staff is so helpful, they are great at simply explaining flavors. I never know half the Ingredients so that’s is very helpful. I’ve explained things I like or don’t like and they are great and suggesting what cocktail would fit that.

Extremely talented and friendly bartenders serving strong, yet delicious craft cocktails. Definitely has an alluring old school vibe. It's a little small, but my party of 3 had no trouble finding a table.

This bar is like an old fashioned speakeasy. The bartenders are extremely talented. Their cocktails are fancy, fun to watch, and taste very good. This is not your ordinary bar. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time here. My wife is allergic to grapes and our server actually listened and made sure there was nothing in her drinks to worry about. He went above and beyond to make sure she was safe. Believe me when I say that grapes and grape juice is in everything. The other staff members were super friendly and the drinks we had were omg superb. I had the Bijou which was incredible but the Red, White and Blue Blazer was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. It’s a warm drink they make by setting it on fire. Go here. Sit at the bar and watch them make this one-of-a-kind drink!

By far, the classiest bar and most professional bar staff we have ever encountered. All while making us feel welcome (even while wearing a baseball cap) and making us both the best cocktails we have ever tasted. An absolute gem - and the bricks are from when the building was first built! Highly recommended!
