I went with the denverdamas. They weren't very kind on the bar although there was almost nobody she refused to serve me a drink, on the back patio for over 45 people there was only one person who bring the food and the drinks and took orders, and he took his time. So I got a mimosa at the bar, although she didn't make me feel welcome and was upset with me because I was ordering there. The drink was good 😊 My friends ordered food, which look amazing. I order fried fish and chips. The fish had huge amount of frying mix around (,bread type of texture) the fish piece itself were very small. It was brittling apart. The chips contained of 6 small piece of potatoes, which was the main dish here. Compare to other places where I order cips and fish, I would say that this was not great, not even good. Fine would be exegerated. But what the other people order look like plenty of food. So don't order fish and chips here, do not recommend. Price for the fish and chips was about 18$! I don't know what the menu says. But this same dish usually I pay 12$near little man 🍨, or in Italian restaurant. The quantity served in another place is enough to fill you. The chips is plenty. Here wasn't so great. But I am going to give it a second try. And update this review,!!

Great place to go during the day. The rooftop patio seating is great with a bar upstairs as well as TVs and fire pits. I tend to only go on weekdays since it’s less busy. Their appetizer sampler is great for 2 people and very delicious.

Came here because it's a rooftop pub. Great for watching people and the sunset, (when the weather is good). Half off wings on Wednesday were a great deal, cooked just the way I like them. Happy hour drinks were good. Best part of the evening was the server, Emily, who was very attentive, and had a great sense of humor. Service almost always makes the visit, and in this case it absolutely did.

Corned beef egg rolls were absolutely amazing. The Ruben is pretty darn good as well. The staff is friendly. You have to check out the rooftop patio. It's great!

I can’t say enough positive things about the Rover! Irish Rover was where I did my first open mic in Denver, it’s where I met my first friend, Orin. He’s a super nice guy! Very welcoming. DJ Andrew knows how to get people on the dance floor! Too many names to name, but the staff are amazing! Truly nice people. Oh yeah, food is great too! You should go!

Far from an Irish bar. The food was less then ok. The music was anything but Irish. Worst Irish bar I’ve ever been to. It’s really NOT an Irish bar. If I wanted to go to club I would have.

This is a place I only know exists because of Comedy. I have bombed here twice. They will serve you that's for sure. The rooftop has a bar, and fire pylons out there for those colder nights. Nothing negative to say. Other than make sure you show up as soon as the place opens, otherwise you going 40 something on the list.

Fantastic fish and chips, wings and tacos! The rooftop patio was great, with a pretty good view. Possible to see the mountains in the distance. Patio allows smoking, even in enclosed heated seating area. Great happy hour prices and daily specials! Will definitely be back

It's okay, but there are better places around I think. I ordered the sampler and it was okay, the wings were dry. Best thing was the chicken tenders. Wife ordered Fish & Chips and had no complaints. It's not bad, but not really good. I'd recommend checking out a different Pub if you want a more authentic experience. Service is also slow, but they're nice so it evens out.

I love this place, though I typically go on Mondays. They have $1 sliders that are phenomenal! There is stand up comedy and great drink prices. It is a pub, so you get what you expect. At first, I was unsure of how I felt, but after going a couple times, I really have a fondness for the place. The bartenders are great! They are all very friendly and attentive. Go here

What an awesome little pub- great for taking a break after hitting all the thrift shops in the area! Sat on the roof top and people watched the streets below. The misters on the roof are such a bonus. I got a snake bite (1/2 Guinness 1/2 Cider), super delish and refreshing. Also got the espresso martini- frothy and sweet :) They have $10 bottomless mimosas on Sat/ Sun with a food order- yes, please. We will be back :)

Get yourself out on a Monday night to the Irish Rover Open-Mic comedy show ......the place was packed with people when I went. There was a perfect variety of amateur comedians ....no worries if you don't laugh at one cause 3 minutes later a new one come on stage to entertain you..... it is frenetic but somehow it works .... It's easy to talk humor outside as the comedians gather there before or after their bits. Give it a try…

I attended a private party here. The service was excellent and the food was good. We had the Irish egg rolls, chicken tenders and beef sliders.

The food is good, and the place is deceptively big. The root top bar is a completely different vibe than the downstairs. Upstairs is more modern, downstairs is an old pub vibe. Dancing can be fun, but the space downstairs is pretty tight and can get busy on weekends. But we spend a lot of time here, since it's so close to other fun stuff on Broadway.

Who’s “Left”? I dunno, we know she’s lazy. We got this couch potato disinterested-I’d rather not be here attitude. I think she failed at everything a bartender/server does. I can’t imagine this woman being good at anything she does in life.. yet they hired her, so.. says a lot about this establishment.

Busy spot in a Monday due to the deals and open mic comedy. I'll definitely be back for the comedy, drinks, and the $1 sliders. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I'm disabled so some smaller bars are harder, but they brought me my drinks and food and checked on me. It's definitely a great spot to have as your local bar that you don't live close to if that makes sense.

We stopped here for a trivia night and also to get dinner. We got there an hour early, which was a good idea the place quickly filled up shortly after. The tables were comfortable and the TVs were placed well for viewing. The service was good at the start, but became sparse after the restaurant filled up. We probably would've ordered more food and drinks if we coud have. The food is good (we recommend the curry fries), but the vegetarian options are limited. We would definitely consider going back in the future.

The food was great, the only complaint I had was my Shepard's pie barely had any cheese on top, but that was offset by how good the rest of it was. Also the curry fries were a revelation, I highly recommend them.

Great seasonal drink specials. I got the smore cocoa one and it was delicious! It had a graham cracker rim. The rooftop is awesome!

The upstairs patio is such a neat place to eat and hang out! Great experience overall. Food was good, staff was helpful. Prices are super reasonable especially if you pay attention to all the different specials and discounts they offer (which is what brought me here in the first place). Excited to be able to recommend this place to others.

The Irish Rover on Saturday night after the Denver St. Patrick's Day parade was more than a little crazed. That aside, we know the place from years back and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The food's good, so is the service, and there are quiet times when you can soak up the local pub atmosphere. The rooftop deck is nice in the summer, especially on a Friday afternoon, watching folks gather after work.

We had a private event in the Limerick Room at the Irish Rover and the service was top-notch. They were super easy to communicate with and helped guide us on food selection. The bartenders worked so hard to keep up with the drink orders and were really personable. Everyone that attended said they hope we choose this location for our future events. They were also very responsible in relation to covid with masking and ensuring we were all vaccinated which made everyone feel very safe. Thanks for a great night!

This is the best meal I've had all week! Everything was cooked perfectly, neither overdone or undercooked. And a $4 bloody Mary with my meal? Yes please!!! And....the star of the show...the toast! Hear me out, I was both toasted and soft, buttered enough to be moist but not soggy. So d*mn good!

Best rooftop in the area by far! If you’re looking for the perfect Guinness pour in a place to hang out with your friends casually, this is a spot. Friendly staff and an easy menu. It’s nothing crazy or fancy, but 10 times out of 10 would recommend at least stopping for beer. When the suns out in the winter, the fireplace tables on the roof can’t be beat.

Went for Sunday brunch/lunch on 12/3. Service was fine for drinks. I ordered the Avocado Burger off the menu. When our food arrived, the server said "here's the Avocado burger, no avocado. Sorry we're out." No other explanation, and he just puts the burger on the table. You would think that once they realize one of the main ingredients of the dish is out they would relay that to the table's waitress, or even the customer, but there was no communication until the food was already on the table. I would not have ordered just a plain hamburger. We asked our waitress about this, and she offered 1 shot because of this. No comped meal or anything, just one free shot which I was not interested in. Pretty bad communication and service all around.
