I immediately liked the colorful vibe with lots of outside light from big windows. I ordered the La Morena margarita, which was really good. I like spinach and didn’t see it on the menu. Our very friendly waiter said they could make me a spinach quesadilla. I really liked it. The cheese was great too. They have patio seating and an upstairs outdoor space as well. Very enjoyable experience.

Las Delicias is located in a hip part of town, with other trendy restaurants as neighbors. It is spacious, clean, and has lots of seating. A 2nd floor terrace which opens to the street below adds to it's charm. The food was good, but not great. There is nothing wrong with it, but it lacks that special something one would expect for a place that promotes itself as Authentic Mexican Food.

I really love the area of this establishment. This is my first time at Las Delicias and I was a bit underwhelmed by the experience. The staff were really phenomenal and patient with my group. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating for COVID regulations. However, I was not a fan of the food. We ordered burritos and steaks. The steak was very not satisfying, especially for the higher price. But, I must say, I appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa. Also, the beer selection was really good and tasty.

You gotta give it to a restaurant that treats Taco Tuesday with the institutional respect it commands. $2.50 of authentic, high-quality tacos is truly the most amazing thing of this place. And the rest ain't that far behind. Excellent service, a varied and modern ambiance across its two floors (including an outdoor patio) and a good variety of dishes. I can, unfortunately, only vouch for the tacos at the moment. Excellent place for authentic Mexican food in a modern environment. Worth checking out.

From what I remember after the margarita the food was pretty good. I would come back with friends. It looks nice inside. Restrooms were okay.

Can't speak highly enough about this location. Had an issue with an order placed via DoorDash. Called in, spoke with Fabby and sent over a photo of the issue. A few days later I got an email with an apology, an explanation of how the problem occurred, steps they had taken to correct it and a full credit on my next order. I've been a regular customer for some time however Fabby, Junior and the entire staff never hesitated to be the professionals they are and take care of their customer. Took advantage of my free meal tonight, it was awesome as always. Thanks guys, you ROCK!

This place is the real deal, amazing food, clean, friendly staff, fast and efficient. Las Delicias definitely is a rock solid gem of a neighborhood spot offering a huge menu with a variety of selections for all diets. Diego at the bar is super friendly, easy going, and awesome at his job. The bar itself is awesome as well, televisions on both ends, comfortable bar stools! Thanks for being so awesome Las Delicias! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great place for lunch! Was expecting a lunchtime crowd, but not many patrons for 12:00 pm. Wonder if some of the Uptown business are suffering as most folks are working from home. I ordered the beef tacos for the first time. Best crunch on any taco I have had recently. Not at all soggy like other tacos shells I have had at other restaurants.

I’ve been coming here since 2004 when I lived around the corner. It’s since expanded and become far more modern inside. The food has consistently been good, lots of value for $, quick/friendly service, and a clean space. I’ve been in NYC for 14 years now and still make it back most times I’m visiting Denver because I love the vibe so much!

We love the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. The chips are freshly made, the hot sauce is well balanced. We love that we can get as mild or as “caliente” heat level as we want. Especially love the cheese enchiladas and the bean burrito. Wonderful place for a festive Mexican dinner out.

The food here was outstanding! Very authentic! Our server Javier was so polite and respectful, he was also very patient. He checked on us once the food came out and insured we had refills without asking or waving him down. The Mexican hamburger was beyond delicious and had the perfect amount of chili heat in the pork green chili. Almost made me feel like my mom made it. The tamales were moist and delicious also. Highly Recommend!

I’ve dined in on the rooftop but mostly I do takeout as it’s very close to my apartment. I almost always get breakfast takeout and the quality and price are great. My wife and I can share one portion for breakfast and it’s more than enough food.

  • 2/5 Nate K. 3 years ago on Google
Guac is bland. Chips were stale with no salt. I had smothered chicken burritos. The tortillas were so so. Green chili was the only somewhat redeeming factor. Literally comes with only dry, shredded chicken in them. Very underwhelming for the price.

My family went to the Las Delicias in Glendale once a week when I was younger. Living in Lakewood there is nothing that compares to a #38 shredded beef burrito! Decided to cruise down to the Uptown location and it did not disappoint. Beautiful interior and a rooftop patio! Upgrade! But the best was the same delicious food I have been missing over the years! Las Delicias come out to the west side next!

I've lived next door to this place for 5 years and would love nothing more than for this to be a good Mexican restaurant. I honestly have no idea why anyone gives this place praise, and I've given them more than its fair share of chances (due to my proximity). The prices are absurd for very mediocre food and slow (albeit fairly friendly) service. They make a decently strong marg (the black marg is great, yet still pricey), but they seem content on thriving on their location alone. Decent choice in an absolute pinch, but try anywhere else if you're looking for good Mexican food.

Love these folks— Taco Tuesday is a great deal, EVERY staff member is always incredibly nice, and they remember my usual order (down to the extra napkins) even if I don’t pop in for a couple weeks. One of my favorite spots in Denver whether it’s for a quick solo lunch or gearing up for a more rowdy evening. Thanks y’all!

  • 5/5 Lia N. 4 months ago on Google
Great, initially family owned, restaurant. Food is fantastic and well priced. Bar service is good. They happily accommodate special needs related to menu items. Some of the best chips and salsa I've tasted. I ❤️ to eat there when I am on that side of town. 😊😋

Our server was very nice and the vibe was fun, with a nice neighborhood feel and a large gathering. The food was decent for Mexican in Denver. I just wish I could find a Mexican restaurant with food that is less smothered in sauces. I love simple ingredients where you can taste the quality and freshness of each one.

  • 3/5 Drew m. 5 months ago on Google
The beef fajitas for 2 were so dang good. The 16oz margs were strong too. I would absolutely come here again. We sat at the bar and service was rather disappointing. Perhaps we will try a table next time. It wasn’t very busy at all so I’m not sure why service was so bad. Ooh..and clean your beer tap. The DOZENS of flies encircling it are completely disgusting. I decided not to take a picture of it…

Overall great place. Good portions, nice service. No complaints. Not able to split checks was a weird outdated expectation with technology today but that keeps them being an outstanding location.

This places is absolutely a good place to have fun with friends and family . Margaritas with mescal are good 😊 And also a beautiful view from the outdoor patio

To get started pastor tacos are actually pretty good & so is the staff their service is great. Overall tried the fajitas today they were super underwhelming. The steak was tough and chewy, the flavor was not there just salt and pepper nothing special & there was not much steak in the fajitas it felt like they were trying to save money by giving us a HUGE portion of veggies but the steak was not as present in the dish. The flour tortillas were also very basic microwaved tortillas from the store. Beans were good and so was the guac. I’d recommend sticking with the tacos :)

  • 4/5 Brandon G. 2 years ago on Google
Some really tasty food and drinks. I’m a huge fan of their combos and burritos. Coin marg is super good and not too sweet. Chips and salsa are great. Happy to have this place so close to home. Drinks take awhile sometimes when they’re busy but otherwise fantastic place.

  • 5/5 Lucy M. 1 year ago on Google
A ten out of ten experience! They had ample tables to accommodate people, and also keep social distancing still in play. I definitely recommend getting the nachos, guacamole, and shrimp fajitas. I also love the fact I could get a margarita with a Tajin rim. Our server was also very attentive and answered all our questions.

I've been eating here for a while. They have two locations, but this one is my favorite and the original. The vegetarian enchiladas with Verde salsa are so good. The chips are thick but not too thin. They hold salsa and guacamole without breaking. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The heat sneaks up on you but doesn't burn. This comfort food all the way. I gotta it to go, and it was still delicious, and the portions weren't smaller. Friendly service and family owned. I haven't their quesadillas, burrito, and other items. They're all on point. You don't know what you're missing. Give them a try, and you'll be a regular. Don't tough the Skelton couple, either. Until next time.

This is a great Mexican restaurant in uptown. They have a wide variety of delicious food and the staff were very quick and friendly. There were lots of people picking up to go orders. They have an upstairs dining area that is quite charming! Gratuity is included on your check. Would return and recommend for some great food! Free street parking available.

  • 5/5 Lucio V. 1 year ago on Google
Had the menudo. I was skeptical since we have had "Mexican" food without any flavor at some other places here in Denver. But I can say this place had food flavor in all the dishes.

I went here for a business lunch and had the taco tuesday special. The beef and pastor tacos were my favs each for 2.50 you can't beat it! Our waiter was pleasant and everything came out very quick. Be warned though these are not tex mex tacos with a lot of cheese these are closer to traditional street tacos. Very good depending on what you are looking for.

I’m always looking for the authentic delicious places when I travel and Las Delicias did not disappoint! The service was fast and friendly. Lots of ample seating and the prices are reasonable. Since I had my mind on breakfast, I ordered a smothered breakfast burrito with chorizo. When the waiter asked if I wanted to add a side of rice and beans I almost passed because I never eat them but I’m glad I didn’t this time- I cleared my plate! The menu had listed the typical breakfast meats but all I had to do was ask for the chorizo. The food did NOT need any additional hot sauce because it was so flavorful! I also ordered the horchata which tasted fresh and delicious. Crispy chips and salsa were dropped as soon as I sat down. My food came out fast and the waiter checked in a few times to make sure I was ok and bussed the table as needed. Did I mention the food came out FAST? I loved everything about this place and can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Denver! If you are looking for an off the charts mexican restaurant, do yourself a favor and visit Las Delicias!

It was easy to get in on a Friday night. The Carnitas de Michocoan plate was decent. Total bill for 2 was a little more than I was expecting. I washed dishes to make up the difference. It's uptown so I should expect the prices they have.

Benny's is my typical go to when I'm in town but (I'm guessing) due to covid they are temporarily closed. So the search was on for a replacement because I was craving mexican food 😅. After looking at reviews and the proximity, Las Delicias was my choice. And I'm so glad I made that choice. The staff was great, Adrian was an attentive, kind server, and the bartender was awesome as well! The combination dinners... There were many to choose from. I opted for the #6, enchilada, taco, and crispy relleno. Everything was very good, the crispy relleno was superb! Margaritas are excellent, mixed drinks were good, and draft beer is $3 on Taco Tuesdays. Seriously you should try this place! I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere here is great, especially their roof deck. On a sunny day, it’s the best place in the neighborhood to enjoy a margarita. The food is good, but not the best Mexican in Denver. They are super quick though, especially with takeout. No matter what, the portions are plentiful!

  • 4/5 Spencer 3 years ago on Google
Used to go all the time before this crazy pandemic. It was awesome to sit on the balcony at night and people watch while eating. Their burritos are really good with beans and rice on the side. Sometimes I would eat two of them. Hopefully dine in starts again soon!

For years we avoided this location due to rude service and just acceptable food. Since COVID-19 we've done take out on several occasions since they are close to us and have found the food has improved and the short interface with the staff has been pleasant.

Came here last night with a friend. Pulled the menu up on my phone and showed the waiter the picture of what I wanted to order from the gallery. Dish came and it was completely different. Mistakes happen right? Figured I’d eat as much of it as I could instead of sending it back. Dish was terrible. Waiter didn’t come back once to see how the meal was. Finally comes some time later to give us our check. I explain he gave me the wrong dish. He says that he told the kitchen to make the correct dish and didn’t know what happened. He sends his manager over, who proceeds to argue with me and my friend about how the dish is correct, and the claims pictures on the gallery are just old. Even goes as far as telling me “Well at least you got the beans and rice, those are the same”. Not even the slightest apology offered. Terrible service. Won’t be returning.

Came into this restaurant on a Wednesday during the lunch hour. We were a party of two, so it didn't take too long to get seated at a table by the window. Service was friendly and relatively prompt. The food is good and the menu has a good number of choices, but I wasn't blown away by the food. Prices are a bit on the high side for Mexican food, but given the near-to-downtown location, the prices are reasonable, I think. Only four stars here because we had to flag the server down several times during our meal (get more water, a new set of cutlery, check at the end of the meal, etc.). Might be a good idea to have one or two more servers on hand for the busy lunch hour, perhaps?

Love the bean burrito and chips and salsa. Am not sure whether they are different but it felt like the one in Glendale was cheaper and I enjoyed the food there too.

  • 2/5 James C. 3 years ago on Google
I've tried this place a few times and I'm never overly impressed. The crispy chicken taco left me wanting for flavor and the guacamole was bland. The service was slow.We had finished our dinner and sat for about 15 minutes waiting for the waiter to come back to take our payment and we finally walked it up to the bar.

COVID rules being followed! Inside and outside seating. The food is good (and good priced). The staff is great. The drinks are perfect. Good sized menu and lots of room for social distancing. Staff all looking beautiful in their masks are always so friendly. Warning: Lots of dog owners walk by the windows of this place. Very distracting. Hard not to want to go pet all the dogs.

We ordered through Door Dash a couple weeks ago. We got the combination of a burrito, chile relleno, and enchilada. The chile relleno was the best part. The burrito wasn't bad either but the enchilada we didn't like much. The price for what we got was good and it didn't take long for our order to arrive. We would order from them again.
