We came here for dinner before taking in a performance at Ellie Caulkins. It is so convenient. Park in the attached parking deck. Come down to the restaurant. Then walk across the courtyard to the theater. The Limelight was fantastic. The service was excellent and our food was excellent. We have food allergies in our family and they were so accommodating in making substitutions and recommending dishes that would work for each person. It was a great experience and we definitely will be back.

Another concept from this poor-quality restaurant that counts on theater patrons that hopefully are so old they do not know how poor the food is. The food is made in bulk long before it is served. It varies from cold and old, to not-to-bad. Nothing good or great. The plus side is that the service is very fast, since it was made a long time before you get there. The order of one beer took twice as long. You are probably better off with the drive-through on the way to the theater. There were three of us and for some reason we try this place every few years. We will not make that mistake again.

We love this restaurant! We were able to easily get seats before we saw the nutcracker. The staff was efficient and friendly. The drinks and food arrived quickly and were top notch. The manager, Dan, was amazing went out of his way to help me when I encountered a snafu with my tickets. Limelight gets 5 stars from us. We will be back soon.

We stopped by at Limelight Supper Club before going to the play. It's a nice and clean restaurant, where you can have some tasty wholesome food. I had the house-smoked salmon and my girlfriend had the baked goat brie. Food was good as well as the service. I'd recommend this restaurant if you are going to have some light meal and walk later.

Went to Limelight for dinner before Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Had reservations and the first to be seated after they opened. Had a delicious special macchiato. It ended there. Less than 1/3 of my steak was cooked as I asked. The rest was over cooked. Though we ordered after they seated the table after us we did not get our dinner until several other tables seated after us had their appetizers. On top of that they attempted to deliver our food to another table first. Convenient for grabbing dinner before a show but service and price does not meet expectation. Two stars because the macchiato was great.

We went there this past weekend prior to going to a show at Buell Theater. It started out ok. The waitress was nice. To start, the online menu did not match the actual menu plus they were out of several items on the already small menu. Our appetizer was good. Our drinks took awhile to come out but they were ok tasting. Our dinner is where it was really bad. It came out at different times so by the time we ate, our food was cold. The last meal came out about 20 minutes after the first item. The last item came out cold. I ordered a marinara pasta dish with seafood and it tasted like Spaghetti O’s with seafood. My dad ordered the same thing and his came out with a big piece of Rosemary in it. They forgot to strain the sauce. My husband ordered to duck and it came with 3 small slices. Not much food for the cost. We waited for over 45 minutes after we ate for our waitress and when she came over , she laughed and stated that she saw us talking so she didn’t come sooner. I was out of water for almost all of our meal. It then took her another 30 minutes to get our ticket and it took me asking her several times for it. Our dinner took over 2 hours but most of the time was waiting for our waitress. It cost $115 plus tip for my husband and my food. I would recommend Taco Bell over this restaurant. It looked nice but was not at all

We went there before seeing The Phantom of the Opera. The new menu is a train wreck. We paid 115 dollar. The meat and cheese platter was horrible. The meat was sliced so thin it was transparent. The 24 dollar lamb ragout came out on a bowl so small it belonged on the kids menu. We paid 12 dollars for 3 meatballs that tasted just Costco meatballs. After the show we went to IHop to eat. We will never go back.

To start off, the restaurant had a funny smell like old dirty carpet or something. The chairs were plastic like something that you would find pool side. I was disappointed with the quality of food. We ordered the calamari appetizer. It was really tough, definitely frozen. It was a really small portion for $14, mostly lettuce. I also ordered parmesan truffle fries. They were the average frozen variety one would get at a fast food place. Last, I had the chicken caesar salad. The lettuce was bitter, the chicken was bland. We wanted to get the ice cream special for dessert (one scoop caramel goat cheese, chocolate, and pistachio.) I am allergic to goat cheese and they were unable to separate that out. For the price of the drinks and food, I was very disappointed! Even the whipped butter for the bread tasted stale. The server was awkward and very slow! The only thing going for them is the location. I will definitely not be back.

It's convenient if you're going to a show at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, but they apparently changed their menu a couple of weeks ago. The waiter described it as all tapas for sharing. But, there menu isn't even close to tapas. We got there around 6 pm and had a 7:30 concert. They bring the food out when it's ready, not in any particular order. At 7 pm we still hadn't gotten one of the "larger" semi-entrees. The waiter was nice and apologetic. The bottom line, incredibly mediocre and very over priced food. Avoid Limelight!!!

The only reason I gave it a one because I couldn’t give it is zero. I did like my waiter JORY. That was the only thing I liked about this restaurant besides I thought the ambience was cute. But it turns out it was the worst salad I have ever eaten in my tire life I hated everything about it buttermilk with Gorgonzola they gave me red onions that were drenched in the dalsmi vinegar it had one tomato. They try to make the presentation pretty but it failed when it came to taste. They also serve me soup that was cold. And they also serve the soup without a spoon very frustrating . If and when I head downtown to go to a theater play, I might stop there for a drink but I would never eat there again, I wouldn’t waste my time nor money, they charge me $14 for a little salad and not much bigger than a cuppa soup.
