If you are looking for a good walking/jogging/rollerblading/biking loop, this park has a good one that is about 2.3 miles. I walked the loop in 45 minutes. Lots of people were walking dogs. The main path is asphalt but there are also dirt paths if you prefer. There are many benches and picnic tables to stop at if you want to rest. And I saw multiple portapotties if you need a bathroom break. This park has much more to offer such as playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, lakes, etc. This review is focused on the loop used to exercise in various forms. It is a good one! Parking is easy to find as well.

This is the staple for Denver Colorado. Has an amazing track around two lakes. Lots of cool parks for kids to play at dogs are definitely welcome because I keep bringing my dog here. There’s a little pond that my dog loves getting into. If you find this place you found the one.

It is one of the most beautiful park in Denver. Spread over 155 acre, it has two big lakes and plenty of space for you to walk run or play with your friends. The park has enough to entertain and keep the kids of all ages busy. Basket ball court, running track, tennis courts children park are few facilities among many. I love visiting this park with my kids in the weekend. People are friendly and easy going. You will definitely not get bored in Washington Park. They have plenty of parking and restrooms as amenities.

Absolute gorgeous park to go on a run after work. The park is also very accessible via bike if you’re coming down south via the cherry creek trail. My only complaint is that there’s not much separation between the park and the road, so noise pollution from cars is inevitable.

I really enjoyed spending a little time wandering around the park with my friend. It was warm and sunny with little pockets of shade here and there. There was some trash in the water. And it kind of smelled. But mostly it was pretty okay. Making good memories is a happy thing.

Beautiful park with plenty of space to walk, bike, have a picnic. There is a trail that goes around the park where you can see both lakes.

My favorite local park. 2.2 miles around the inner circle. Try walking early mornings before sunrise. At that time, it's cool, the trees are generous with oxygen. Then, get kissed by the sunrise.

Since I recently moved close to Washington Park I have been coming here quite often. It's a huge park and a recreation center as well. Smith lake is also here and so is Lily pond ,I like to walk around both. The park has a lot of floral beauty. It also has a garden of some sort. You can rent pedaling boats here. They probably have other stuff you can rent and do on the water as well. A lot of people fish here too. It's a very busy park but there is a lot of room! When they have sports activities going on it can get quite busy!

My wife and I moved to the Washington Park area about 20 years ago and have never looked back. The park here is so spacious and beautiful that it almost has a sacred tinge. So many people enjoy it, all seasons. I particularly like walking my dog here and taking a few minutes out to watch tennis players compete with each other on the south courts. The recreation area, which has a pool, gym and weight room, is another big plus. I have had so many wonderful experiences here.

Sunday around 2:30. Was a nice day so it was busy. Yet it doesn't feel crowded. Great place to walk dog. People watch. Bike or have a picnic. Clean and the lakes are Clean

Washington Park will be one of the more beautiful places you will ever visit! The park was first developed in 1899! Its design was influenced by such people as Molly Brown! In 2012 it was designated by the American Planning Association as one of its “Great Public Spaces in America!” The path circling the large 165-acre park is newly paved and has plenty of space for walking, running, roller skating, biking, and scootering!

This is my favorite park in Denver. I walk here almost everyday. It feels like its own separate world, away from the busyness of downtown. I enjoy being able to walk shorter paths or do the bigger loop. Check it out if you have not yet been.

Massive park close to the heart of Denver. Filled with many activities from tennis, basketball to boating around Smith lake. Public restrooms all around the park. Very nice playground for your kiddos and lots of grass for your doggos. There is a paved path around the entire park with lanes for biking and walking/running.

It's a really beautiful park with 2 beautiful lakes. You can get to see the lakes against the backdrop of the Rockies. It's considered as the Central Park of Denver and filled with a lot of fitness enthusiasts. A great place to bring your pets for a walk or to let them play. During the weekend the park is filled with families, pets, youngsters and people of all age groups! There's plenty of open space and the walking and cycling track are too good!

Really stunning scenery in an urban park with many amenities. The neighborhood is one of the best in Denver. Walk around the lake, play volleyball, basketball, picnic, recreation center. And tons of great green space in the shade for your get-together. Hiyak the gorgeous lake with a grand view of the front range. Worth checking out. Free admission. Plenty of parking around the park.

Great park here. Everyone is usually running, riding, rolling, or walking. Well maintained and also a great place for Bball or tennis. Highest recommendation for a park inside the city…. Oh, good for kids too!

Awesome park! You have everything here, basketball, tennis, playgrounds, picnic areas, pet friendly, cycling and walking lanes, huge fields usually with a lot of volleyball nets up. Great for picnics!

huge. massive. insanely beautiful. i parked in the lot near the boathouse and walked roughly half of it’s loop. took me about 40 minutes. it’s got tall green trees that are just gorgeous. grass is soft and well manicured. it also has a community garden near the north side of it and…mm mm mm this was my fav part. i got here at around 7am on a Sunday and it was not too busy. once it hit 7:45 tho, this place is hoppin’ with joggers and outdoorsy fellas. plenty of areas to take photos, do yoga, run a marathon, or simply lay in the grass and contemplate life. 10/10. will be my number one option for denver parks.

Beautiful Park! Great walking path all the way around it. Dog park, tennis courts, playground and very clean restrooms. A little stream runs along the side of the path, and the other side of the path is the pond.

Loved the park. Had a small picnic with other people with plenty of room to stand and talk.. Flowers were starting to bloom.

Such a beautiful park! I went for a Chocolate 5K/15K run and it was the best place to run! it has a pretty pond or lake and so many trees. If you don't want to be around a lot of people I would try to check if their are events going on before you go as the parking lot can get very full. I had to park on a side street. I recommend going for a picnic or just a walk around.

Been to Denver many times, but recently made my first visit here. What a hidden gem! It's a decent sized area. I visited on a weekend night and had fun watching families enjoying the outdoors. Lots of picnics, soccer games, kids playing, and couples enjoying each other's company. Beautiful flower gardens !!

I love this park. My husband and I have been taking morning walks since we started dating. You get a beautiful sunset around the lake. The family has taken advantage of the boat rides and bikes. We also took family pictures there because of the beautiful landscape.

Beautiful city park, especially this Autumn day, offering so much to do and see. Relax on the grass or lake, soaking in nature's serenity, surrounded by grass fields, jogging paths, diverse gardens, bushes and well maintained trees, (some over 100 years old!). Today, the weekly, "new parent" drum circle provided a gentle, distant ambience as I drifted on the lake in my $28 hr. paddle boat rental.

Can't say enough about how beautiful this park is: it was super busy on a Wednesday afternoon, and for good reason: so many things to do on a beautiful day! We walked the dog around the pedestrian trail (~60 mins all around) and came across lots of other dog owners. Tons of biking, rollerblading, volleyball/spikeball/tennis games, fishing, etc. Not to mention, it's absolutely free and beyond spacious! We were able to find parking on the street rather easily, but can imagine it does get busy on weekends! Wish we had a beautiful park like this back home!

Great park to walk around. Went on a day Denver got 6+ inches of snow and it was magical to walk through the park and around multiple lakes in a winter wonderland. Parallel parking was super easy to find on the border of the park.
