I checked into this hotel around 11pm after a 6 hour flight delay. I had a very important interview very early the next morning. Lobby looked okay but when I got up to my room it was very outdated and generally felt dirty. The worst part was that my AC wasn’t working and my room was around 85 degrees. After tossing and turning for a few hours I called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do to fix it. I was told no. Upon checkout I expressed my concerns and asked if I could bring it up to a manager. There was not a manager present at the time and I politely asked if one would reach out to me regarding my stay. I left all of my information. Long story short, no call, no email, nothing. The front desk offered me a 10$ snack bar coupon! I eventually got 1000 Hilton points, which is nothing. Customer service was terrible. Room was terrible. I will never stay here again. I wish there was a zero star rating. Really loved (sarcasm) going to my interview on 2 hours sleep and nearly zero concern from the staff.

Our stay was disappointing to say the least. Check in was easy and went quickly however every moment after was less than great. Upon arrival to our room we quickly realized we were paying the same price as everyone else but did not have a remodeled room. The room smelt strongly of marijuana, the hallways did not. There was no hot water between 8-10am. We requested extra pillows three separate times over our 4 night stay, each time it was promised but we never received any pillows. We were also told we were not allowed to order food to go from the on-site restaurant however we say many people with to go food or drinks leaving to go to their room. The pool area was not cleaned and the hot tub was also not working. Parking is a nightmare, mostly due to the poor parking of the numerous hotel shuttles. At the end of the day it was a safe place to sleep, but as a Hilton Honors member I have never been so disappointed with a Hilton stay.

I have only visited this property for a training course for 3 days. I did not stay in a room. Upon arrival, the building definitely looks older. The inside is nice and welcoming. There are lounge chairs and a restaurant. The hotel staff were all very nice, friendly and attentive. The restrooms were all maintained, cleaned, and well stocked. Outside of our training room was a seating area as well that is quiet and calm. The location is a high traffic area, and it takes forever to drive to the hotel in any direction. There are a lot of red lights on the roads surrounding the property. I'm not sure if I will ever stay here overnight just as a selection, due to the location, but I can imagine the rooms will be well maintained just by the looks of the inside. There is a good selection of food places around the area that are not far at all.

Me and my family had a great time! Pool was awesome for kids. They even have arcade games in there as well. I can tell it was a fairly new staff. Great property, Brody needs a bit more training with customer service and overall knowledge of the hotel. Hilton is extremely big on service and wowing the guests, there was a disconnect here. Other than that, pretty alright stay.

Don’t waste your money. The lobby is beautiful however, our room was a dump. There was stains all over the wall. When we made the reservation on the phone we were promised a king size bed and a sofa bed and instead we got two full-size beds. When asking the employee at The front desk The reservation we made over phone they informed us that that’s not their problem and that they weren’t willing to accommodate. They charge extra for parking which is a joke/scam as we paid The additional charges and there was no parking available. My husband had dietary restrictions so we went grocery shopping before we checked in thinking that the refrigerator would be in the room. We were charged extra for the Hotel to put in a mini refrigerator for my husbands dietary restrictions and needs that the hotel couldn’t accommodate. I couldn’t let them start for the week so I paid the outrageous fee when his dietary restrictions are medical. I explain that to the staff and they showed no sympathy or compassion. Out of 10, I would rate the experience, staff and hospitality as a 2 out of 10. Definitely recommend bringing your business elsewhere.

I normally stay near DEN Airport when I’m in town; However, with the skyrocketing of room prices, I was forced (maintaining a budget) to look elsewhere. I’m glad I did, found a nice little gem about 20 minutes away that saved the company some $$$. It’s not a luxury resort, but it’s a nice, clean, safe hotel to stay and it’s just south of the airport. The rooms are pleasant, clean, and most appealing… comfortable. The front desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed a nice mountain view with the city of Denver in the foreground from my room. The only negative feature I noticed was that the room(s) didn’t have a mini refrigerator or microwave available. Nevertheless, the breakfast burrito I had was very delicious and filling … I do recommend this entree. Every staff member was friendly and professionally helpful. All-in-all, I’m looking forward to booking this hotel in the future. Maybe, they’ll have mini refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms then.

This is an older hotel, but they have remodeled it quite nicely. I actually ate at the restaurant inside and the flat iron steak was done perfectly medium rare and tasted very good. It is not a very expensive hotel when you consider all the amenities that you get here. It’s near the airport and has a shuttle. The thing that impressed me most, though, were the employees. Everyone had a smile, everyone was friendly, and they were all eager to help.

Disappointed. The Hotel lobby was a lot nicer than the actual room. Partially broken TV, no information packet/card, dirty window, and almost no channels on the TV either. This is also the first time I've had to pay extra for parking at a hotel (15$ a day) and in spite of that there were almost no spaces at all. Ended up having to park all the way around the back near the dumpsters and walk around the building just to get in. The furniture in the room was cheap and in poor condition. Rock hard, cheap mattress (even by hotel standards) and even cheaper pillows. The bathroom was the only part that seemed well furnished however I was disappointed to find almost no soaps, shampoos, etc Were provided. Instead of the traditional system this hotel uses refillable containers which are mounted on the wall. Just felt kind of stingy to me and I've never seen that done in any other hotel I've stayed at. The pool/hot tub area was also entirely closed off for remodeling however this was not mentioned at all when I booked the room online so it came as an unpleasant surprise upon our arrival. If I had been made aware of this detail I would probably have booked a completely different hotel instead but sadly the listing made no mention of it at all and simply said the hotel had a pool/hot tub. Service at the front desk was also pretty slow, had to stand in the lobby for almost half an hour just to check in. I would like to say that in spite of this the service from the employees was actually good and I thought they seemed very nice. If anything the slow service at the front desk was more due to understaffing. Overall I can't say anything positive about this place. For the price point it should have been better. It looks a lot nicer from the outside and from pictures of the lobby/first floor areas but the actual hotel part is far less polished. Also, there was this annoying security car which for some reason would drive around the parking lot with these extremely bright flashing lights on top which were seemingly always on. I guess it's good that the hotel is trying to keep the property secure but the constant presence of this car and its annoying lights gave the place a bad vibe and made me wonder why it was even necessary.

The service at this hotel has been FANTASTIC. Hanna at the front desk took amazing care of my wife who arrived by herself with young 3 kids while I was still out at meetings. Anything we needed in the room was promptly delivered and the experience has been excellent. People make the stay great, and this hotel has GREAT people.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The parking was easy and was available all around the property. The check-in process was seamless. The front desk staff did a great job making the guests feel welcomed. We were offered an upgrade to a king bed, with the Mountain View, and could not resist it. It was one of the biggest highlights of our visit to Denver this time of year! I managed to capture a pic of how the sunlight will shower down on the downtown buildings during the dawn. It was celestial. The room looked to have been renovated slightly, but did have a lot of old techs. The hallways and the rooms did smell a bit old too. Don’t expect the privacy to be the highest as we did hear people in the hallways and rooms all through the night. Overall we had a great experience here for the price. The view of the city and mountains from the 9th floor made this a unique stay.

What started out as a horrible day, ended in comfort. I came in very late & was greeted by a staff that was both friendly & efficient. They made check-in effortless & the cookies they handed me were warm & inviting. Quite delicious too! I had my fur baby with me, which they accommodate for. The entire place was fabulous. Not ritzy by any means, but it is very expansive, complete with a ballroom, restaurant, bar & many other things to do there all in one place. The room was cozy & clean & the view was spectacular. Drawbacks...no refrigerator or microwave but the restaurant menu was reasonably priced for the most part. I ate breakfast there which wasn't great for the price. I ate the take-out version instead of eating in the restaurant. Not sure if that would have made a difference or not. The swimming pool area was off limits due to maintenance the sign said. That was a bummer. But it was quiet & the bed felt divine, & the staff was wonderfully accommodating & allowed me to check-out late since I arrived so late. All in all?? Definitely 5 stars are deserved. It was an easy, uncomplicated, restful experience. Some places, figuring out the parking alone, can make you want to pull your hair out but this place made everything flow, flawlessly. (Paid parking btw...and a little steep for the night at 12.00). But the simplicity of it all, made it worth it. Way to go Double Tree, for your attention to your customers and the details surrounding their experience with you!!

It was not their fault to get low ratings, we had great difficulty getting our room because we booked through Expedia and it was a disaster. There aren't a lot of commodities, because it's considered "green" Cheap, if you ask me. The only awesomeness I experienced was the bar/ restaurant service, very quick even though it was busy. There are two hotels near to each, so very careful not confusing one for the other.

I stayed here for an event over the course of three nights, and had a great experience! Carla is an exceptional Director of Events; she goes above and beyond to help guests. All of the hotel staff are very professional and kind - a special thank you to Caleb, Michelle, Cheryl, Anthony, Ryan, and Arturo!

The hotels a little bit on the older side but they’re doing a really nice job keeping it up and the staff is just amazing. The rooms are very clean and the restaurant was really really good. Their warm chocolate chip cookies were also amazing. And they text you every day to make sure everything is going OK so I really enjoyed this place. And the price was right.

There was a little hassle finding my reservation that I made over a month before our trip, but after it was sorted our stay was nice. Our room door did not shut very quietly however, and our room was right by the elevators so we got to listen to those both nights. Other than that, our room was very clean when we arrived, the AC worked perfectly, shower pressure was perfect, and the window view of the mountains was amazing. Very nice hotel.

Stayed here when me and my wife were traveling through Denver. Hilton member and normally have great experiences at their locations but this was not the case here. Came in lobby was beautiful and updated. Checked in and went up to room and the room was obviously not turned over. Bed not made and trash left out everywhere. Took all our luggage back down to the lobby got a new room. Went up to the new room and found the balcony slider would not seal shut in one corner. All night traffic from the near by street was extra loud due to this and we found mosquitoes had gotten in! Couch had cigarette burns and broken outlets. We only stayed one night but these rooms are in desperate need of attention and remodel. I choose Hilton normally because normally I can expect a certain quality of stay but this one felt like I stayed at a motel 6! Except the beautifully remodeled lobby 😅

I was here for 4 days and the gym was closed for remodel. Front desk kept saying a temporary gym would be set up in the ballroom. Again and again I checked but the temporary gym was not opened. When it was finally opened on my last day it was immediately closed before I could even change into gym clothes. When I went to the front desk and asked again the arrogant guy with the radio on his hip couldn’t care less. So really what kind of major business hotel has no gym of any kind for guests? To the general manager: you can’t plan ahead to have a temporary gym in working order? Just really poor management.

(Booked it for a staycation with my cousin.) To start off, the location is confusing to say the least. There's so many streets going all over that unless you have lived in the area for a while you'll understand. So I won't say the location is the best. The service is absolutely amazing! The receptionist that received us, unfortunately I didn't get her name but she signed our breakfast coupons with KD, was polite, efficient, and very kind. She answered all our questions and was very patient. So we definitely loved that and in case she sees this: Thank you for being so memorable and amazing. The room itself was very straightforward. It was clean and cool. A little old fashioned but very well kept. The TV worked well and gave you the option to purchase movies, new ones and old ones. We watched FALL and it was so good. The breakfast—we decided to dine in before check in—was okay. I got a Egg White Regatta and my cousin a Knife and Pancakes ( Can't quite remember). I loved the taste of my dish, although it was far too greasy, and the seasonal fruit it was accompanied with was refreshing and sweet. Pancakes tasted like the pancake mix was left in cover for too long. The granola tasted like granola. The lady that attended us was standoffish. She gave us the receipt literally 2 minutes after bringing the food. Which I thought was rude. Overall, it was an okay stay. I would come back, just maybe upgrade the room and skip the breakfast dine in.

Lobby is deceptively nice looking. Absolutely disgusting hotel otherwise. Our tub didn't drain. Trash can broken. TV didn't work properly. Charged $15 for parking but was never disclosed to me. Wallpaper peeling. 7 elevators and only 2 were barely working for 9 floors of guests. Pool closed for renovations in the middle of the summer. And, not the end of the world but, this is the first hotel I've not had complimentary breakfast of some kind. The cookies aren't worth it. 🤢

My husband and there were on a quick in and out, a one night stay. We made it to the hotel hours before check-in time and while we did have to wait, Glenda did her absolute best to get us in a room as soon as possible. She was super accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. She always had a warm and welcoming smile on her face and it was much appreciated. We went to the bar area that evening and had a great pizza and local beers recommended to us by William. William was phenomenal and gave us great service. We enjoyed his enthusiasm. Overall, great stay! Thank you Double Tree Team!

The hotel is a 25-minute ride from the airport. The property is mainly used by United Airlines Pilots and applicants. It’s a 10-minute walk to the United Training Center or there is a free shuttle. No free shuttle to the airport unless United related. There a few fast food options and restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise there is a restaurant in the lobby and a grab-n-go area in the lobby as well. The staff was kind and got me checked in quickly. The room was little dated but clean and a decent size. The bed was was comfortable as were the linens. The bathroom was clean and and really big with a modern shower. Other Amenities: -Free WiFi -Indoor pool and outdoor spa (was cold) -Fitness room -Microwave - (lobby) -Free shuttle to training center - Every 30 Minutes

The double tree welcoming staff is fantastic. I always have great interactions with them. The rooms are comfy, however the air conditioning units are a bit loud. My main issue with the double tree is, from my last visit, I forgot an item in my room, and called the hotel 2 hours after I noticed that I forgot my item. They took note of it and said I would receive a call back. The call back never happened. So I then called again 2 days later and lo and behold it was nowhere to be found. This particular item, I took out of my purse and set it aside and I told them the exact location where I left it, it was never found. I spoke to a manager and she said it was never found. I don’t have no desire to call anyone a thief. But shame on whomever cleaned my room, and took my property, not leaving it with the lost and found. Very disappointing that a place you call home for a few hours or however long, can treat you like this.

Location is great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby is gorgeous and the pool area is great. The 4 stars is for the rooms. Although the room we were in was very spacious and our view was amazing, it really needed updating. When we pulled out the sofa bed, there was trash under it. The rooms need to match the lobby.

The hotel is quite nice. My room was lovely, all modern furnishings and fixtures. It was super quiet; I did not hear any noise at all during the night. Only minus is the lack of any breakfast. Even the little shop and restaurants within the hotel didn't have anything.

Great room great service great views. We did have to pay $15 for parking but it’s not a huge deal. Starbucks is located inside of the hotel. They offer warm cookies and bottled water as if you were at a resort.

Had a great experience. Mackenzee was quick to respond on the Hilton app about any questions or concerns I had. Upon arrival, she immediately checked me in with a smile and a cookie of course. The app & the kind service from all the staff was quite wonderful.

We spent a few hours overnight here to rest before we continued our 15 hour journey. Rooms are basic but the service was great. I really liked the staff. They were professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good too.

  • 1/5 Loretta F. 6 months ago on Google
We arrived in tired from traveling only to be checked in to a room that was occupied by another guest. The front desk was more concerned with why there was someone in the room when housekeeping had confirmed the room as "ready" than with taking care of getting a new room for us - the customer standing in front of them waiting. The manager on duty did NOT have the decency to even apologize. The hotel is very run down and old - definitely not what you expect at a Hilton property.

  • 5/5 Amanda T. 1 year ago on Google
I had hesitations with the area, but definitely better than expected. The hotel space was entertaining with the bar, restaurant and access to Starbucks coffee. We didn't swim but checked our the pool which was ok. The beds and rooms were comfortable and had no issues with hearing our neighbors like some hotels. The food was wonderful in the restaurant although I had some concerns with a server and some sanitary, which the manager was receptive too. Lastly, with being 10 to 15 minutes from most places in the city, my family and I will stay again.

We have stayed here several times, and the quality and service remains strong. I would enjoy hot breakfast with the room, but understand the conventional hotel format. The bed was excellent, the TV decent, the shower excellent and very quiet. We even enjoyed our balcony when we arrived. We will definitely be back.

Great location for the reason we were here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Currently under renovations, however rooms are quiet, and all areas are clean. They service the rooms daily which is great to still see these days.

I had the best experience staying at this location, clean rooms, great breakfast and great service. Matt at the front desk was the sweetest, helped my family and I with everything, he was very kind and patient. I will be staying here next time I visit denver! :)

Too bad the pool is under construction. You can use their sister hotels pool if its not too busy. Check with the front desk to make sure. Otherwise, the breakfast was really good and fresh, perfect pancakes and bacon. The bar was nice and not too crowded or rowdy. Rooms were quiet even though there were large parties.

Nice hotel! Very clean and staff is attentive. Starbucks on-site for a good cup of coffee. The f course you receive the notorious warm and free cookies on arrival… and bottle of water. Several conference rooms and work areas if needed during your stay. Nice pool indoor area. Bed/pillows were comfy and room was clean. No mini fridge in our room.

This property was really nice! I really loved the location. It was close to downtown and less than 30 minutes to red rocks! I tried both their breakfast and dinner, everything came out really good. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back to Denver.

The hotel seems to be mainly used by pilots. Walking distance to nearby parks but not a very kid friendly establishment. Had a suite that didn't actually lock, so my youngest child (3) could simply pull on the door without having to turn the latch and open the door. To keep them in the room I had to move one of the chairs in front of the door. Which leads me to say the rooms are nicely decorated. To check one out for yourself, just push on the door and it might just open. No key card needed. The staff were kind during check-in. However, on several occasions myself and two older kids left the room and went on a walk around the building (wife watched the 3 year old) and were advised by staff to use only the bottom floor of the hotel unless going strait to our room. No waving to people that are on a different floor than you at Hiltons I guess. Now I know. The bed was was comfortable as were the linens. The bathroom was clean.

Hotel staff was super nice. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to hold my keys because I was too lazy to go upstairs to my room. Upon checkout, the front desk folks gave me cookies for the road. I was a happy camper doing a happy dance, eating my cookies as I drove to my destination.
