Our room was broke into. While we slept someone just pushed the door open the doors “locks” where on. This happened twice in one night. and the heater was broken on a snowy night. When we called the front desk they told us . Ok, what do you want us to do… we had to ask for a new room and was given a 10% discount..? I have never been so shocked worst customer service. And obviously they don’t watch there cameras at all don’t call cops or use there security.

Do you like fearing for your life? Do you like unclean rooms and dilapidated buildings? Well the Motel 6 located in beautiful downtown Denver is for you. Experience the wonderful comforts of mold, nail clippings on your pillows, and just overall uncleanliness when you stay at our "beautiful" motel. We...kind of try to make sure everything is at least sort of kinda presentable, but not too hard. Our rooms look like someone that lied about having any experience building anything decided to build a motel. Take note of the wonderful, grime filled gaps between the floors and the trim. The TVs that are completely and totally busted are the perfect touch for your stay as well. Our currently falling-apart building is located in a wonderful area complete with druggies, homeless people, and gigantic vicious dogs patrolling the grounds after sundown. It's like a haunted house during Halloween, but in real life...with real danger! We even made sure our door mechanisms are loose and barely even attached to the door just to heighten the fear. At least our staff is extremely kind and courteous. We make sure to guarantee that they will be the only positive memory you have here at the downtown Denver Motel 6. Thank you so much for choosing us for your stay. Just make sure to wash everything before you get home...no, like seriously, wash everything.

Credit card machine was broken at check in. Paid cash and was given room 263. After a long day having fun, came back to find all my luggage and hygiene stuff gone. Went down to the office and a couple checking in were being given a key card to my room? I was told that the manager would be in at 9am the next day. She didn't show up until 11:30. I was treated rudely and was informed my belongings were locked up in the electrical room? Their computer had me in room 363 but I was given a key to 263 at check in. I was given a 10 percent discount on my room for that day. No apology was told "it happens sometimes".

Worst Motel 6 I've ever stayed at by far! Trash is routinely stacked up right next to elevator doors, homeless people camping out in guest laundry room on 3rd floor. Also homeless sleeping in corridor where the soda machines are on 1st and 2nd floors, in the stairwells and wherever else people can find to sleep. Motel staff do not enforce rules for guests/visitors/randoms to be courteous after 11pm. I had 3/4 of a load of laundry stolen out of the dryer and I knew better than to leave my stuff while a non paying guest was in the guest laundry room but I did. Praying they enjoy the clothes and that they needed them more than I did. One day while I was walking my dogs on their leashes and another guests pitbull (that wasn't on a leash) ran down hallway and around the corner and attacked my 12 year old mini dachshund INSIDE MY ROOM!! There's another dog, (stray I'm assuming) not on a leash running around the property while no employee or management took control to remedy the issue. Housekeeping is pretty much non-existent unless you hunt them down and beg to borrow a broom and mop, then they gave me a swifter mop handle (without the floor cleaning wipes) and gave me a couple rags and told me to use that to clean the floor in my room. Never offered trash bags, toilet paper, soap, towels or bed lines. I had to go ask for each item needed after 2 full weeks as a PAYING guest. We left our room as little as possible because we were constantly asked for cigarettes, money, drugs (which we do not do drugs at all) and etc each time we would step out our door. Honestly, this motel needs to be shut down and rehire all employees from housekeeping to management and clean up the property (metaphorically and literally). This motel should almost be full every night of the week per the prime location but this property has issues that need to be addressed and handled. If for no other reasons, to make your paying customers feel safe and respected.

They get 3 1/2 stars. They did accommodate a bus load of passengers. Unfortunately the room I was in was in desperate need of some TLC, the walls& flooring needed a good scrub down. Underneath the bed looked like it's never been cleaned. The laundry room was in good condition, very convenient to lots of food choices. Staff was friendly

All you’d expect from a Motel 6, but a little more! Nat at the front desk was so friendly, and she was able to get us checked in early when our plane landed 5 hours before the standard check in time. The rooms are cool, very clean, and charming! It’s a Motel 6, not a 5 star hotel. The service, rooms, and location are all great for the price point!

Michael was the front desk person and was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions about the area and helped me with details on how to safely get to the Taylor Swift concert tonight. I would definitely stay here again. Decent location and our room was clean.

My booking was paid for in advance. When I arrived we were told that they need not have clean rooms and did not know how long it would be before they were cleaned. There were other people waiting for clean rooms as well. The pictures of the outside must have a filter because it looks nothing like the pics. I will say room was decent.

The rooms were clean except for the shower vent looked pretty nasty. The outside however was filthy. I booked on Priceline so I didn't know what I was in for. I recommend not getting the cheapest room but it was late and I was tired. After seeing how dirty the outside was I looked for bedbugs in the room and didn't see any. But to my dismay I found one on the bed when I was leaving and I killed it. Hopefully there weren't any on my stuff. I'm going to burn my belongings when I get home.

Let me start by saying from Tennessee to here I stayed in several several hotels and motels and this motel 6 by far has made the very top of the list. From customer service to housekeeping to even go that extra mile and just being friendly. I have stayed here for 3 weeks and the price of the motel is very reasonable and it is very clean. They all do a wonderful job here housekeeping does a fantastic job on the rooms and every one I have dealt with from managers to housekeeping to front desk clerks everyone has been exceptionally helpful and nice. Even on days where I've had to check out because of not having money until later that evening they never even tripped or made a big deal about us hanging out on the property until 8:00 at night. I highly recommend it

I would not say I got a good night's rest here. The room was fairly clean but the mattress was pretty much collapsed. A lot of people were talking outside the room until 2-3 am. The staff did the best they could but the overall condition of the hotel is pretty seedy and rundown. It's in serious need of repairs and upgrades. For the price I paid for the room I could not seriously recommend this facility.

I stayed 1 night on Thanksgiving weekend and was disappointed. I have stayed there before and was happy with location, so I tried again. There was some reconstruction in the works . When I called to get a reservation I was very explicit on where I wanted to be. First floor in the court yard near the maids laundry. Safer and more secure there. I was put on the 3rd floor above the reconstruction. It didn't feel safe to me. the outside sidewalks were the issue of damage. They did have an elevator so I accepted the room. Staff is always friendly and usually helpful. The room inside is basic. The heat was off and to here was only sheets on The bed no blanket. Quite a chilly night. Also heater controls were damaged. I had to guess how to operate it.

When you think about motel 6, you think it could be a bad decision. But it’s not. The room are clean, secure and spacious! (I got a double bed room ) fridge & microwave included air conditioning and cleans beds ! The service is good and professional! Especially NAT ( front desk lady ) Always make it work for me, came earlier than checking time she got a room ready, she checked on me if the room was clean and good. I had stayed in other hotels and they don’t have the same customer service and amenities as clean ! I DO recommend this place ! Thanks NAT.

The sink was plugged and the heater made banging noises all night long. The door didn’t even shut all the way so it was freezing. The toilet ran for like 10 minutes every time flushing. The ice maker didn’t work. There was construction drilling and banging until late and the WiFi doesn’t work. The key cards stop working if it comes anywhere near your phone or wallet.

Half this building is effectively condemned. It's honestly shocking that any of these rooms are open at all. The one staff member up front was really helpful and friendly, very pleasant and seemed like he was doing his best. It was clear that the cleaning staff was also doing their best with what they had to work with. But the building itself is falling apart. I felt like the whole place was falling apart while the employees desperately tried to hold it together. My family stayed in two rooms, and they were both slightly terrifying for different reasons. I was afraid to stand in the middle of the bathtub in case it fell through, because it sagged so much. It wasn't really caulked. Everything had multiple layers of paint slapped on it to hide flaws. The exterior doors didn't close all the way or go flush to the jamb. I had to switch rooms because the heater, after running for 4 hours, had the room at about 60 degrees in winter. Our keys works periodically not function.the shower has two temperatures - glacial runoff or skin-flaying. It's unfortunate that the owners don't bother to maintain the building. If they did the motel might still be worth the $195/night (LOL) I saw in an ancient notice on the bathroom door.

Room was very clean! Staff were very professional and jovial and I was able to check in quickly, which was nice cause I was very tired and just wanted a shower and a bed. Coffee was fresh and hot in the AM, took my warm cuppa and went on my merry way. All in all, for a cheap motel, I got all that I was asking for. Good service, a clean room, and a hot cup of coffee as I was on my way out 10/10

I have stayed in so many motel 6 locations it’s embarrassing. This was, by far, the worst. Room reeked of smoke, tub didn’t drain well, bad water pressure, door wouldn’t lock. I guess The only good thing was a police car stationed in the parking lot. I don’t have high expectations when traveling on a budget. This didn’t live up to them. Maybe try a different Motel 6 in the area.

Nothing bad, pretty clean and updated rooms for the most part. My biggest downgrade is for no TV. Satelite was no good at all the first night then just 1 channel then next. They didn't clean or room the first night either, i don't really care but that seems unusual.

I traveled to Denver to see a rock concert from my favorite band, and it was very important to me. This Motel 6 is close to the concert venue of the show, Summit Music Hall, and I booked an overnight stay here. Right before my trip I got sick and didn't feel well throughout my arrival time, and when I got to Denver things hadn't gotten better. I arrived at Motel 6 three hours earlier than check in time, and a kind woman, Sharrman, assisted me upon arrival. Without me asking, she granted me my room without giving me an additional fee. This was huge, and this allowed me to rest up in my room for several hours, as I felt really crummy at first and then I improved a lot after those several hours before I went to the show. I had more energy to rock with my band because of the rest I got due to Sharrman and Motel 6's generous flexibility of several extra hours (which in my case went a very long way). When I got back it was late and I didn't get much sleep. My symptoms came back again before I went to sleep and got worse in the early morning before I called my Lyft ride to go back to the airport. I ran out of water and was very thirsty and didn't feel like walking to the gas station as my driver was minutes away. When I turned my key in to the desk, I said to the guy working, "any chance there's bottled water?" He reached into a drawer, where there were bottled waters for people, and handed me one right as my driver was pulling up. Might seem like a little thing, but it was huge for me as a needed that bottle of water. Thank you Sharrman and the guy working the early morning shift. You guys weren't singing or playing instruments on a stage, but in my book, you're rockstars too!

Room was clean, quiet just off the highway so location could be better but definitely a well maintained place. Glenna at the front desk was helpful and patient while I had a hiccup transferring funds from account to account. Overall would stay again.

Glenna excellent service always goes above and beyond when I check in I feel like I’m rockstar. Very helpful. I was having issues with my keys. She reassured me and help me get into my room. No problem.

Both ice machines were broken and looked to be that way for a while. They offer a mini fridge if you want to pay an upcharge. Not only are they not fixing the problem, they're profiting from it!

Our room on the first floor was newly renovated and clean. The bed was two thumbs up., the pillows, not so much. Nice TV but not much counter-space in the bathroom. The room the night before was not renovated nor very clean. Stay on the first floor till the rest is renovated. Ashley was very friendly and helpful. Please give her a raise ! 😉

Dedicated staff and very professional. Always clean rooms. Shout out Jacob for going out of his way to direct me to my room and made sure all my needs and concerns were met. Also seen him treat all others the same; I hope Jacob is at the front desk if you ever stay!

It’s a Motel 6. You get what you pay for. I appreciate that I can walk out the door and smoke. I don’t have to walk through a lobby or down a hallway. It’s off the interstate so how quiet can it really be? But there hasn’t been any trouble while we’ve been here. No coffee maker in the room. No fridge or microwave. But it’s a cheap place to rest.

Marlena is super nice and friendly. Rooms are cheap and all the staff are helpful, friendly, and genuinely nice. If you're visiting Denver I would definitely keep this hotel in mind. Close to downtown and conveniently cost to the light rail. Thanks motel 6 keep up with the excellent customer service!

My daughter and I stayed here a few weeks ago for a concert. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just a place to sleep. Michael, at the front desk, was beyond helpful and kind when assisting us with early check-in as our plans changed and we had to arrive earlier than expected. The room was nice and clean, nothing too fancy. The shower was a little loud and the tub could have used a deep cleaning but overall it was a nice stay. We already have another stay booked for a few weeks from now for another concert.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would!!! I was a little hesitant about booking at Downtown Motel 6 but I am completely grateful for a clean, affordable room with an amazing front desk staff, Nat. She was so polite, and even let us check in earlier than 3 due to our flight landing earlier. She was a saving grace!! I have NEVER had this great of customer service at any other hotel I've stayed at. 10/10 would recommend!

  • 4/5 Bradley T. 8 months ago on Google
Good location with easy access to public transportation (currently free July and August too) and a good restaurant out front. Not strictly downtown as the name suggests though. Service at the front desk is wonderful, Paulie helped me so much with my booking as I had booked the wrong dates. All was sorted out very quickly and with a nice big smile. She's also very knowledgeable on local attractions too. Quiet area, ideal if passing through and need a good night's sleep.

I’m giving 5 stars because this motel 6 has been one of the best ones I’ve been to. The front desk staff is lovely, Glenna helped me get into my room with ease. The room was clean and decent for motel 6. I haven’t had any issues at this location.

  • 2/5 Daniel G. 1 year ago on Google
It should not be called "downtown." Is not even close. The place is old and dilapidated. It definitely needs an infusion of something. There is no microwave, iron, or peace. It's loud. Good luck getting a good night's sleep. It offers little to no confidence in the place or security. I do not recommend you staying here.

  • 4/5 Ryan S. 1 year ago on Google
The room itself was very clean and the A/C was great. They accept pets as well, but didn’t have a great spot to take them out. Like other reviews mention it’s not in the best neighborhood. Heard a few people fighting and yelling in the parking lot at night, but that’s not the motels fault. Overall it was fine for one night and how cheap the price was.

  • 1/5 Diane H. 1 year ago on Google
The room didn't have any outlets except in the bathroom. I thought it was the strangest thing. So I looked behind furniture, and fixtures just to make sure I wasn't being or going crazy, and their were no outlets. The door never really felt closed, I didn't feel safe and secure here. The heater didn't work so great in the room, but it was warmer in the room than it was outside. One star, sorry Motel 6, NEXT TIME, put outlets in your rooms!

Latisha has been the main person on the staff I've been talking too and she has been great! All of the staff couldn't be nicer and helpful. Recommend it! Location has been the best as well. My husband and I have had to come back to stay for a few days, and this is one of the best places to stay. It's not the fanciest, but it has been the friendliest and our experience now both times has been awesome! If you need anything, they will accommodate if possible. Thank you

  • 3/5 Jim H. 1 year ago on Google
They have eliminated daily housekeeping. Instead you can trade in dirty towels and sheets at the front desk and do it yourself. The floor could use a mop but besides that the room was clean, A/C worked good, and hot water was hot and plentiful. No breakfast.

  • 5/5 Ryan S. 2 years ago on Google
Glenna was very kind and helpful for my stay which was about a week. They did a great job of keeping the place clean and the coffee was always good and fresh from early in the morning until the afternoon.

Surprisingly pleasant stay. Usually I have neutral or bad experiences at Motel 6's, but really not much to complain about here. Clean room, friendly check-in staff, grounds are quiet. There is a few fast food places and a gas station right next door. Only wish is that every room had a microwave and fridge (ours didn't), or at least a kettle. Only a 10-min drive from Union Station if coming from the airport. Would stay here again.

I rented a room online and went to get the key. The women behind the desk was missing for over ten minutes. I had no idea where she was and was knocking on the door. She came back and said I disturbed her building and that she would not rent to me. I apologized many times and were very nice to her but she still would not even talk to me. She will not refund the money or rent me the room I paid for. The website said that I will not be refunded in anyway. Horrible customer service and a horrible attitude on her. She should be required to put a sign up that says back in five minutes so we know where she is and do not have to knock thinking that no one is there!!!!!!!! She was extremely rude from the first minute I tried to talk to her. I don’t recommend this place to anyone and will tell everyone I know that.

  • 5/5 Monet F. 1 year ago on Google
Great stay at a great price. The room was sparse but clean and perfectly functional and aesthetic. The people were helpful and patient. There's a plastic barrier at the only point of contact for pandemic safety. Loved it!
