My husband and I scheduled a reservation here for a Saturday evening. It is a fun environment. It is $39 a project plus you need to tip on top of that. I will say I had to get up many times to ask for help or supplies I was never given. Also note it is very loud inside. When I went they had about 30 different projects to choose from which you can view online. We had about 3 hours to complete our projects which was plenty of time. Parking is right out front at the meters. Possibly pre game it too because drinks are pricey.

Our company had a group event here. Wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be great! First off, it's a bar, so don't worry about stressing out if you're not good at "making stuff." You choose from one of over 20 different crafts to make, they give you all the materials and tools and EASY step-by-guides, and you go to it! And there are always plenty of staff around to help, answer questions, or get you another piece of something because you f'd it up. Great place for a group event or a first date (you're gonna be busy and doing interesting things, so no need to come up with small talk!)

Great selection of craft projects. Cocktails are reasonable, but honestly many of the more fun projects do not lend themselves to drinking. You need every moment of the time allotted.

Imagine a cocktail bar combined with shop and home ec classes! That's basically what Upstairs Circus is all about! I had the opportunity to visit recently during a work function. We visited the downtown Denver location, right across from Fogo de Chao. There is another one located in DTC. We went at the tail end of happy hour, and the drink prices were very reasonable. I started with a red sangria followed by a glass of their house red. They do not serve or provide any food. However they do allow you to bring food in, so we ordered from Cheesecake Factory. The projects are a little pricey. They are around $40 a person, and can range anywhere from one to two and a half hours to complete. All of the necessary materials and tools are provided, with detailed laminated instructions. Because you might be drinking and working with dangerous tools, everyone is required to sign a waiver. There is also at least one project attendants available to help at all times. Project ideas include making jewelry, dream catchers, cutting boards, string art, leather wallets, and much much more. I decided upon a concrete catch-all tray; something that one might throw their keys or jewelry on at the end of the day. Mine ended up looking a little amateur, but it was more about the fun we had. I highly recommend this for a group outing. I saw a lot of bridal shower groups when we were there. People under 21 are allowed, of course they just can't drink. This might be a fun place to take family and relatives from out of town.

This is a great place to spend some money drinking and making a variety of crafts with whomever you choose to go with. However, you will need a reservation online and the website is not very clear as how to make the right reservation. I was going to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Out of the three options I thought I chose the correct one. When we arrived they were not open and apparently I did not choose the correct one. (I was told by the employee that I was not the only one this happened too recently). We waited around 2.5 hours for it to open. Once we were there the staff was not very helpful. They assumed we knew what we were doing as if we had been there before. They never checked in on our table to make sure we were doing what we were supposed to be doing correctly. I felt like we paid too much for the lack of direction/service. We were then told we would have to stop our project if we didn’t get done in time because they had another party coming in soon. We were already paying customers drinking and trying to enjoy our time. We asked if we could just move to another table and we had to ask again and they said yes. I rushed my project because I didn’t hear back from the staff until my friend saw how nervous I was getting. It would have been nice to know we had the time we needed. In the end, my friend and I got some cute projects but could have had a better experience.

Super fun cool space! Definitely need a reservation ahead of time but the cocktails were pretty great and the projects so fun! Only advice I would give is to pick an easier project rather than a hard project if you're not an avid Crafter. We made it to the 3-hour mark and I was only about halfway through my craft. But they sent me home with paint and everything needed to complete the craft so no complaints here.!

We had our company holiday party at Upstairs Circus and everyone had so much fun!! The Upstairs Circus Team was super knowledgeable, inspirational, and merry. What a great way to spend an evening. High Five!!!!!

What a great place to have fun, learn a new skill, and enjoy drinks with a good friend! My best friend and I were looking for an inside activity on a snowy, cold day, and found Upstairs Circus online. I highly recommend you check it out. I decided to make the leather clutch, and my friend did the nail / string art piece. The staff was super helpful with all our questions and very friendly. Plus there are so many crafts to choose from, there is something for everyone to make. I forgot to take more pictures inside. But it’s super cute, and filled with everything your crafty heart desires. Thank you so much, Upstairs Circus. I can’t wait to come back and make something new next time.

Drinks were good but the main event is the crafts. There are plenty of options and examples of each craft displayed so you can feel confident in your selection. Great place for a date night or friends. I hope to go back for some other crafts!

Really loved this idea! My friends and I went there for my birthday and it was so much fun. Bunch of different arts and crafts you can choose from. Plus, there were bottomless mimosas! 🥂

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had an amazing experience! The drinks were delicious and the playlist was perfect. Lexi and Amelie were so helpful and kind and answered so many of our questions (without making us feel silly). They truly made our experience a 10/10!

Highly recommend! Was in a bachelorette party when we came here, and I didn’t realize how many options they would have to choose from in terms of crafting! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were good! The music playing was also FIRE!!! I would definitely come back here! Better than painting with a twist especially if painting isn’t your thing because they have crafting options that include woodworking, jewelry making, and many more options!

The staff was amazing. Super helpful, patient, and understanding. The music was great, the vibe is great. It does get hot when it's packed, but it's great date night choice. My wife and I had a blast Thank you again!

I loved my experience here. We were a group of 5 out for a work celebration. We were there around 3pm on a Friday and it was happy-hour. The drinks were great and super affordable during that time. We each picked a craft , and although some were difficult to complete or follow, we did have a good time trying our best :) I'll definitely go again for a date night with my husband :)
