I am on my way there for my second party and what a space!! I love it!! This is an amazing place to explore something perhaps outside of your comfort zone and has a great industrial feel about it. Wonderful and cost effective to host parties or receptions... why go for some place boring when studio friction exists!!

A lovely, open space for the exploration of art, beauty, and the human experience. I am taking class here with my partner, the teacher is warm, kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about the content. Covid protocols are in place and the safety and cleanliness of the space is top notch.

Studio Friction is not a good or safe place for *anyone.* As a former member of the board of directors, I'm telling you to run away from this place. Men who are known to target women are allowed to remain in leadership. This place is so desperate for representation, they will force people into being tokenized in one of the most disgusting displays of a white savior complex I have ever seen. Consent means nothing there. Unless it fits a narrative. The moment your story doesn't fit the narrative, every excuse will be made for a *man* and you, as a woman will be gaslit into oblivion. The leadership is fearful, indecisive and completely ineffective in doing anything to hold people accountable. As I said, run. Run far away. This is not the happy and welcoming space you think it is.

Refreshing to have a place that's not afraid of being known. They have 25+ suspension points and some more traditional playtime stuff in a room on the lower level. Totally love the loft!

Studio Friction is my favorite rope bondage play space, hands down. It's spacious and beautiful and welcoming.

The instructors for the class I participated in were patient and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my weekly visits, feeling as though I was among friends.
