Dr. Clark and staff have been serving our family since 2014 when our daughter was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The care, education, and love we received during this life altering time was unparalleled. Thanks to the expertise of Rocky Mountain Hematology and Oncology, our daughter will officially be cured in July 2021.

Dr VanDoorninck has been treating my daughter for the past 17 months. One of the many things we love about him is the way he explains things to us. He really takes his time and talks through everything with precision. He listens to our concerns no matter how big or small.

My son was born with an arterial blood clot and were transferred to PSL. We saw both Dr. Clark and Dr. van Doorninck in the NICU and continued care w/ Dr. D once discharged. They both were phenomenal. Personally, I love Dr. van Doorninck. He is so kind, caring, thorough and always took the time to explain everything and answer my many, many questions. Everyone in the office from the highly skilled RNs to the administrative staff are wonderful, too!

My son was referred to Dr. Zimbelman and I am incredibly grateful. Dr. Julie Zimbelman spent a surprising amount of quality time with us. She talked with my son and really sought to understand his health concerns. She answered my questions and educated me in a way that felt supportive and constructive. My son adored her. I would recommend Dr. Zimbelman to others who have need of a pediatric hematologist. Her bedside manner is superb and she is incredibly smart. She took care of us, and for that, I give her five stars.

Dr. Ball and the entire RMHC staff provided excellent care for my son. They have always made us feel like we were important, and that my son's health was their top priority. Their in-depth knowledge and positive attitudes made it possible to get through the most difficult year of my life, and I highly recommend letting them be part of your team.

Words can’t begin to express my gratitude to this amazing group of professionals. They literally saved our son’s life. We have met every provider in this practice and have nearly daily contact with the office and nursing staff. I have never met such an intelligent, conscientious, honest and most of all compassionate team in my life. They are patient and make the time to connect with us. We have been living out our worst nightmare since our son was diagnosed with cancer, but this team has walked alongside us and we can rest knowing our son is receiving the best care. Thank you for blessing our family!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We LOVE Dr Julie Zimbleman. My 11 year old daughter actually looks forward to going to see her twice a year. My other daughter thinks it "isn't fair that she doesn't get to go to Dr Julie." We have seen Dr Julie since my 11 year old was born. She makes us feel special and takes time at our appointments. She always talks to my daughter to make sure she understands her diagnosis and what is happening. It isn't fun to have to see an oncologist several times a year for your whole life but my daughter can't wait for her appointments with Dr Julie. That in itself speaks wonders about for Dr Julie.

The team of doctors at RMHO have been amazing. They talk to kids well. I asked Dr. Van Dornick to explain to my five year old the chemo that was coming, and he sat down and talked to her like an uncle calming walking step by step through the reasons why this needed to happen. She got it. They also talk to parents well. Dr. Zimbelman has on several occasions anticipated my worries or reactions and addressed them with information and appropriate encouragement. I am confident in their medical opinions and experience. I’m glad they’re helping my kid get better.

Dr. Van Doorninck has always been so great with our son Max. He had a myofibroblastic tumor but they weren’t able to remove it all, and when he told us that after looking into it more it was seeming to heal itself! I was so thankful! We just had our yearly check up with him and we will go back next year when he turns 5 and then be done with visits!

RMPH&O has helped to make every step of my baby's journey through what would have otherwise been a seemingly terrifying situation into something that I can understand and feel confident about throughout the entire process. They are very good at helping to ensure that they answer the questions & concerns you may have in a way that helps to ease some of the stress that comes with having a child who has special medical needs. They are prompt to respond to ANY medical QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S HEALTH taking the time to explain the process(es) thoroughly enough that you can feel at ease throughout your child's unique journey towards becoming a healthier, stronger child. Thank You Jennifer Clark and everybody at RMPH&O!

What I appreciate most about this small and intimate practice is the fact that everyone goes above and beyond to support the holistic needs of the child. The physical needs are the main focus - but also the emotional needs are supported to reduce the fear and provide comfort during very stressful situations. This is true for the entire pediatric organization at the hospital. You will not find a more devoted or compassionate team - they really are amazing.
