This roastery is imperative to seek out. Just a little tucked away from Quebec but well worth it. We consider ourselves coffee snobs, and they are brewing some of the best coffee we've had! Tried the Ethiopian drip, Yankee Boy Americano, and oat milk cold brew latte. Everything blossomed with flavor and character, and we had to take home a bag to enjoy on our own. The pastries were rich and well-made, from Hearth bakery. Blueberry muffin and white chocolate raspberry scone. Paired superbly with the coffees. Even though the cafe area is small, it had several nice tables with power outlets, plus bar seats. The ambiance is clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and easy going. There were a few of us chilling inside and outside, plus people filing in regularly picking up drinks to go.

This coffee shop is off the beaten path tucked away in an industrial park. That is one of the best parts about it. I like their bottomless coffee option if someone decides to stay longer. They always deliver top-notch drinks. Also, there is a roaster share program for those who want to roast their own coffee in the back. This is one of my top picks for coffee lovers.

This coffee shop isn't visible from any of the main roads but is worth finding! I had a delicious cappuccino and blueberry muffin. Not a ton of seating but most people coming in were taking coffee to go.

I was looking for a new coffee shop to try out that serves pourovers and roasts their own beans. This was a gem and exactly what I was looking for. The coffee was some of the best I've had, and the owner was super friendly. The atmosphere was super chill and felt like a little escape from life. I highly recommend MORU of you're looking for good coffee.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop while running on Cherry Creek Trail when I felt like I needed a quick refuel. It's a little bit tucked away in an industrial block but in fact very close to the trail. Had a nice soy latte, and a quick chat with the barista. Definitely felt welcome. They also offer some coffee related classes so it seems a very cool place to check out for local coffee lovers.

Absolutely loved this place. One of the most delectable ham and cheese crossiants I've ever had. So flaky. My eggnog latte was delicious.

Awesome find! I stopped by this morning and ordered a latte and the best ham/swiss croissant sandwich ever. It’s a smaller coffee shop that has about six tables and a bar to sit at. It’s lovely and everything looks clean and fresh. The employees were also super friendly, helpful, and warm! Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem coffee shop.

Awesome on-site roasted coffee. They will also sell green coffee for your own home roasting hobby!

Omigosh. If you want a real cappuccino and/or prefer coffee shops that serve real hand-tamped espresso (NOT super-automatics!) this place is for you Had me at the La Marzocco espresso machine. Love. Too bad I live 2,000 miles away.

One of my favorite things to do is go to local coffee shops to support local businesses. By far one of the absolute best latte’s I’ve ever had! Rich coffee flavor, not at all bitter, very creamy even with non fat milk!

I can say Denver is pretty good with coffee. The coffee here…. One of the best. The store alone is really chill and the baristas are kind. Good place to study.

Truly awesome gem back here. Well trained baristas making awesome lattes with art and everything. They're also super helpful asking the right questions. The roast is one of the best I can remember having... I'd be back often if I lived in Denver. I'm thinking about bringing a few bags of Guatemalan home with me. Well done.

Supporting local businesses is how I do life. Finding this coffee shop over a year ago was so fun! I brought my family, friends and dog while enjoying the atmosphere, community and coffee of course! However, the last 2 visits I experienced the same barista treating me like a child. One time she approached our table and asked me to hold my dogs leash even though he was calmly lying down by me. Naturally, I complied yet her next comment, “not everyone likes dogs” with a ‘critical parent’ attitude and tone were uncalled for. My next visit I was stopped by her at the door to inform me that dogs are no longer allowed inside. Then the next comment in her ‘critical parent’ attitude came as she pointed at a sign stating ‘there is a sign’. This feedback should be addressed with her as it is an opportunity to train her how to deliver these type of messages in a more effective way. I will give it one more try because I very much want to support the locals. Yet at the end of the day it’s how you make people feel when supporting a local business that matters to earn my loyalty.

Moru is my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. The baristas and owner are kind and knowledgeable. The pastries are amazing. And the coffee is always perfectly roasted and delicious. Unlike other places, I can go in, hang out without feeling rushed or judged, get an amazing drip coffee or cold brew and even get a free refill or two. I love this hidden gem.

Took a cupping class with Kenneth and I was lucky enough to be the only one for the time slot. The 1.5 hours flew by, man is he knowledgeable and willing to share what he knows. If you are looking to learn more, start developing your palate, or just want to nerd out with somebody who has been in the business for a long time; this is the place. Kenneth is warm and a great teacher. And zero coffee snobbery. So glad I went and the next time I’m in Denver I’m heading straight back here.

First of all, the coffee at MORU is excellent. I happened upon this place while my wife and I were experiencing shifting plans and decided that we needed a moment with some really good coffee. MORU delivered. The atmosphere of the place was inviting and comfortable, being cool, but lacking pretension. The service was fantastic, with helpful suggestions, which were not invasive, but came from knowledge mixed with passion. My wife's latte was perfectly crafted on the foundation of espresso which had been skillfully selected and perfectly roasted. I had a wonderful poor over of nicely structured coffee, which had tons of character and complexity backing a citrus forward composition. There was a lot going on in that cup, but much like the atmosphere of MORU, the coffee was real and offered itself without pretension or an overzealous, overbearing punch.

Finally made it in to this spot! Super tucked away from the main streets but worth getting of the beating path! The gentleman who helped me with finding some espresso beans was super friendly and knowledgeable and explained a lot! Can’t wait to pull some shots on our machine! Got a drip coffee to go and it was very delicious! Super excited that they are 5 mins down the road! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a new spot to try! Also the barista was friendly too! Thanks see you guys soon!

I came here to buy bulk coffee, was pleasantly surprised about the fact they roast the coffee beans onsite. I tried the black bear. It's a rich, dark and smooth coffee to start your morning

As someone who enjoys sampling all of the local roasts in Colorado I can truly say withought a doubt this is a 5 star cup of coffee no matter how you take it. The staff was so polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Yankee Boy as an Americano! They also carry pastries and muffins from Hearth Bakery which produces the best white chocolate raspberry scone I've ever had. Go enjoy a coffee here and I can assure you'll not be disappointed.

Located in the industrial area the inside of this shop has a cool industrial vibe to it. Coffee is good. Strong, bold and well roasted. The shop makes their lavender and hazelnut syrups from scratch. This is how I like my coffee. The staff makes it an even better experience! I'm coming back!

Great experience! This awesome shop was a little hidden away, but this hidden gem has great tasting coffee, wonderful service and enjoyable conversations! Definitely a place I am going to be coming back to.

Absolutely love this place, have been going a few times a week for some time now to enjoy what is honestly the best coffee I've ever had. Everyone who works here is fantastic and welcoming, and if you love coffee, this is an awesome place to try something new and different, I haven't had a bad cup yet.

Really delicious latte with oat milk there. You can taste the difference in the beans compared to a chain coffee shop! Nice and calm service, mellow place. Wish I had known about this shop for a longer time.
