I resisted the urge to write a review, but honestly this club has so many positives that I feel compelled to point out the glaring negative. Awesome actual gym, tons of good equipment, good empty space, and a great layout. This club would be one of the best 24 hour fitness’ in the area if they had any semblance of customer service. I’ve worked in gyms my whole life and this club will never do well without a massive overhaul in team moral, customer service and positive energy. Every person is very checked out.

If cleanliness is a concern for you then you will HATE THIS GYM ! Up stairs in the cardio area it doesn’t look like anyone has come up to sweep mop or wipe down mirrors/ equipment! I’m starting to think it’s time to go back to planet fitness The equipment is fine but it’s dirty as hell. When I was doing the leg curl machine and someone walked by I felt dust fly into my eye… that’s HOW DUSTY & DIRTY THE FLOORS ARE.

This gym is so gross. The women’s locker room is always dirty. Mold on shower curtains, toilets always clogged, hair balls, trash. The pool area is gross also. Not sure how often they clean the pool but I’m always throwing hair balls out. The tile looks gross and moldy. I know it’s an older building, but it seriously needs a face lift. Even just a deep clean would help.

Do something about all these beer garden people parking in the 24 hour parking lot. They leave no parking for the people who are actually going to the gym and makes it really inconvenient.

This gym has amazing members who are super chill. Equipment at this gym is good too. I feel comellled to leave this review despite all the positives. This gym has employees who are terrible at customer service. And this is my interpretation, smiles and enjoy your workout are not a common thing to experience at this gym. Not sure if the owner/ leader at the top doesn't realize it but I think the gym needs new employees who care or a revamp of a positive moral. Hope this helps!

Gym is ok. The staff used to be really friendly but recently the only friendly person working is the young guy with brown hair. He will always greet you and say goodbye. The rest will just stare you dead in the eyes and say absolutely nothing to you. Very unwelcoming. Another downside is the gym tends to be filled with kids which wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t literally run around acting wild. On multiple occasions the kids in the gym will run around almost knocking you over with no regards to the adults trying to workout. No staff stops them from treating the gym like a playground. They often misuse equipment leading the equipment to break and even worse puts the kids in danger of hurting themselves. Would love if the staff would actually keep the kids in order instead of letting them treat the gym like playground. I would go to another gym if this one wasn’t a ten minute walk from my house.

I was a 24 hour fitness member for several years before Covid. Once the pandemic hit, I stopped my membership as many people did. I loved the classes at the 24 hour fitness at the Lowry location in Denver. When I noticed that more classes were being offered again, I decided to try the three day free membership to decide whether or not I wanted to rejoin the club. Today I went in after signing up on line and I had an unbelievably terrible experience. Here's what happened: I showed up with my sister and we were told by the front desk that they do not honor the free guest pass because people take advantage of it and their GM won't allow it. We pushed back because we had a pass on our phone. The guy relented but told us that we had to leave our IDs with him - at the desk - to stay. We declined, again on line it says you just have to how your ID. We proceeded to go to a class and while we were setting up, another employee approached us and said we had to leave. They do not honor the passes and we were rude. When we were being escorted out (seriously!) we asked for the GM information. They gave us a card but it only had the general number on it. We asked for her actual number and they would not give the information. The man then said "you have two choices, you can leave or I will call the police." I said fine! When he picked up the phone, my sister said let's just leave. The employee said "See... that's what I thought!". Wow - I have never been treated that way in my life. I don't know what's happening at that location, but they are not upholding the promises of 24 hour fitness and will not be successful as long as they are treating potential (and former) members that way. STAY AWAY!! There are plenty of other low cost gyms out there ...

Had my personal belongings stolen today out of a locked locker. Police report is filed, was told they could not check cameras. Also told this happens daily, or auto theft. Ended up leaving and cancelling my membership. Thanks for the water while I had a complete meltdown to the only nice employee there who's name I did not get.

This gym is truly one of the worst gyms in the Denver metro area. It’s a shame because it used to be one of the best. I’ve worked here in the past and love the community, but new management and front desk staff have made this place almost unbearable. Machines are broken, the sauna seems to be a health hazard, and the bathrooms are not much better. I hope they can get this place back on track but right now, it’s not worth a membership. (Photo below is the sauna)

I use the Olympic platforms mostly. They have 6 platforms but they are 3 doubles that face each other. No mirror to check your form. They are setup by the reception desk and entrance doors. So it's drafty and cold right now. They only have squat bars w center knurling. They don't have a bench to use on the platforms. I don't fit on the benches by the dumbbells. The bar hits the face of the safety pins when arms are locked out. So I can't unrack the bar properly. I would like to use the safety bars on the platform racks because I workout alone. And I can change the height of the J cups to the proper height for me. The power cage in the rear corner needs some TLC. The safety pins are bent and are hard to change the height of them. The men's locker room is decent, could use a refresh. The sauna works, but 2 of the 3 interior lights have been out.

This gym is filthy! I come here 3x out of the week and it’s NEVER clean! I know who the cleaning people are and I see them chatting rather than cleaning. They clean the bathrooms a little and the cardio studio but the upstairs area is nasty and hasn’t been cleaned in forever, there are huge dust bunnies in corners and dirt under ALL the machines. I have to workout at the gym in my work building other days because I don’t understand why they don’t take the time to clean. You can’t just do a quick vacuum of the main walkways. You got to get up under the machines and create a solid cleaning schedule for your staff! The people at the front desk are just chilling when one of them could be cleaning. I’m always let down and disgusted going here because this gym is the closest to me. You guys need new management/staff and get it together professionally and as a part of the franchise.

I was looking to join this location but I didn’t even make it past the entry way. This gym is not clean at all. I’m surprised the employees or current customers don’t file an OSHA complaint. It’s a Colorado Law to regularly maintain a restroom. If reviews such as “bugs in the bathroom and lines of grime on the wall” are honestly being overlooked that is downright company negligence. This place is a public safety concern.

As many have pointed out, since the pandemic this place has gone downhill & only seemingly gets worse. Many of us can overlook the grime if they had at least had a competent, professional staff. It seems as any solid employee they do get doesn’t last long. They hire young kids that are rude, arrogant & have no concept (or work ethic) of customer service. Two alleged managers yesterday decided to turn their loud obnoxious music throughout the club. Most members wear headphones for a reason, so they can listen to what they do desire while working out. When asked to turn the music down, they proceeded to tell me it wasn’t on the highest setting, as though that is the bar they personally established. When we can hear the music over our headsets on the loudest setting, it’s a problem. I indicated no one liked that. The kid proceeded to tell me he did, again, as though it’s all about them. Someone needs to remind them, when they go to a job, customers aren’t there to appease them. As I walked back to tell another member I said something (I wasn’t the only member complaining), the two alleged managers (if these are managers 24 has some serious hiring issues), the other member and I watched as they made jokes about it, left the music up & danced, as though this was humorous. Again, professionalism. When I went back up now clearly upset & quite frankly exhausted of the staff they seem to keep hiring there (pre pandemic nothing like this ever occurred), the 9 rounds (again alleged manager) proceeded to interrupt repeatedly, threatened me, indicated he would call the police. All the while maintaining the music wasn’t on the highest setting so it shouldn’t be an issue. Completely dumbfounded & completely over this type of nonsense from their staff, I became increasingly upset & requested to speak with an actual manager (it seems they don’t have one). I’m not certain where these kids get their attitude from, but it’s unprofessional & deeply concerning. A number of members are over it & would gladly join another gym if one were in the area. We all remain hopeful. 24 Lowry was a great gym pre pandemic, their hiring now has simply caused it to spiral into garbage.

The gym is not clean. Every surface is filthy. The mirrors are all spotted, the floors have months of dust, dirt, trash, and hair. The equipment has definitely not been cleaned in a long time, and several were broken. The locker room was also disgusting. The gym also has a strong BO smell.

Edited to add details: I tried this gym on a trial pass. I've been going to Planet Fitness for years and I think my routine has plateaued (they're mostly machines), so I was eager to try a 24 (again) with things like a squat rack and bench. I didn't find the staff particularly friendly (I inquired 3 times about joining, and each time was told to come back later). It's dirty and busy, but so was the 24 Glendale I used to go to *shrug*. There is definitely a heavy meat-head steriod vibe and it's lacking a decent ab or stretching area.

Never seen a dirtier gym in my 20+ years and hundreds of gyms visited around the country. Just read the reviews below— especially the restrooms, it is beyond appearance, it’s a health issue— standing water and urine on the floors, mold throughout, hair and garbage everywhere you look. Seems like they’ve had plenty of reviews like this over the years with the same response that they are trying to fix the issue yet there is no change or fix years later.

I’ve been coming to this gym for over 10 years because it is close to my hm in Lowry & a part of the community. However the staff has been incredibly inept at keeping the gym clean. I come in the morning & it is filthy in all parts of the gym which means no one bothered to clean it the day before. Pushing a mop around once in a while is not enough!! This gym needs a proper cleaning every day like the other 24 hr gyms in CO. Start cleaning please!

I would normally rate 5 Stars but I inquired today about the paper towel dispensers being removed from the Men's Locker Room and was told that they caused a mess when used towels don't get deposited into the trash basket and the only means to dry hands after washing will be hand dryers...unacceptable and unsanitary. I watched people use the urinals and not wash their hands rather then use the hand dryers. We are entering Flu Season and who knows what Covid will look like. Do you really want to risk an outbreak. I don't.

Honestly this is one of the dirtiest gyms I’ve worked out in. The locker room is always dirty to the point where I don’t feel comfortable showering there or really even using the bathroom. Trashes overflowing all over the gym and it looks like it’s never been swept or mopped. There’s always homeless people hanging out in there as well just sitting in a corner watching people and when I told the front desk people they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I wouldn’t workout here unless you had to.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at 24 Hour Fitness. When I signed up for the supposed "free trial," I was shocked to find out that I was actually required to enter into a contract and pay a dollar by credit card to use the facilities. This effectively locks you into a contract with the gym and who knows how difficult and costly it would actually be to cancel this contract if one dislikes the gym. I managed to bypass this one dollar rule and had the free trial pass honored after reasoning with an employee for around 15 minutes. Not only that, but some of the machines were broken and some of the gym was dirty and not well-maintained, including dust on the floors and equipment. The gym also lacks some necessary equipment, such as machines for ab workouts and adapters for strength training machines. Additionally, previous reviewers have noted that the parking area seems prone to theft and vehicle break-ins, and the gym lacks outer security. Save your money and go to one of the many other gym options in the area - they are definitely a better value for your money.

I mostly had a great experience here but I just cancelled my membership and enrolled at a different gym. I am more of a group fitness individual and the options at this gym are very limited. There are several body pump classes but hardly any variety so unless you want to do body pump 10 times a week, you are out of luck. I will say that the teachers are amazing. Karen is an awesome yoga teacher, Felipe is absolutely phenomenal, and Dave does a wonderful job with his body pump and body combat classes but I am in need of move variety because of my schedule. The only yoga available is on Monday’s and Thursday’s. They added Payton to a Friday yoga sculpt class that was awesome and it got cancelled within a few short weeks. Management had no regard for those visiting that class. We were all sad when she announced it was going away. The bathrooms are also disgusting. I got ready here before work one day and I thought to myself I would never do it again. Cleanliness over all is poor. Unfortunately this gym isn’t for me. I am looking for a gym where I can elevate my experience.

So disappointed. My husband and I just moved to the area and got the 3 free day trial to use as we try out different gyms. This morning we went in and everything seemed good. We were able to get in and the staff seemed friendly. When my husband went back later this evening to go play some basketball the man at the front would not allow him entry. Told him he wasn’t allowed in due to him not being able to pull us up. My husband provided the receipt email and text message they sent us saying we had premium access until the 3rd day mark. The man still would not let him in the gym. This is TERRIBLE service. And not a good way to get new customers or keep them. Told my husband that the message was for “something else” despite it literally saying what it was for, and what access dates we have. Get it together.

Great gym but mens bathroom is completely disgusting, smells like someone died in there, rotten smell and so much garbage . I will be switching gyms as soon as I can, I can’t stand how dirty mens bathrooms and shower and locker rooms are.

This gym is dirty. As soon as you walk in you will notice how grimy this place is. The lets talk about the equipment, it appears as if it has not been cleaned in years. The steam room smells like mold or the drain, it was extremely unpleasant. We couldnt not stand being there more than 1 minute. The sauna is dirty from the floor to the doors it looks like it has not been cleaned in months. The pool area smells and AGAIN its so dirty I don't understand how people are swimming in that. The membership is not cheap so i don't understand why this gym is so dirty. It appears as if the management doesnt care. This gym is in a great area . Im surprised it's this dirty and people should complain maybe they will finally do something about it. This is my experience.

I have been a member at this gym since 2009!! I have chosen to not deal with the filth somedays that I really did want to go to the gym. One of the reasons I go to this gym is because of the lap pool and sauna. The sauna is in disrepair and feels and looks and smells like it is never cleaned. I really don’t want to find a new gym so I hope they get it together.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💫 I’ll give three stars and a half! Although it’s a two story gym it’s really not that big like some of the others I’ve been to while traveling. I mean you can still get a great workout in, It’s just is a above average rating for me! Staff are tired young workers so don’t expect much from them!!!!!!

I bought a 1 week pass to this gym when visiting for vacation and worked out. But when I went in the following day I got turned away because "we don't do 1 week passes at this location". When I asked what they could do they said to "go somewhere else". Otherwise the one day I did spend here was good and the gym had a good variety of machines and was clean.

Super dirty gym. The locker rooms are disgusting, and the sauna is unbearable to sit in due to the slew of mud, dirt and horrible stench to sit in. If you look closely, the owner is copy and pasting responses to people who are complaining. How hard would it be to do a deep cleaning of these areas? Can't believe we are paying for this

This gym has gone down hill. Walked in and walked right out. Locker room and facilty is TRASHED. And the best part NO toilet paper in the stalls... what do they have instead? PAPER TOWEL... yet somehow the price of membership keeps going up...

Amazing 💯🤘❤️Great ppl great environment. Hot tub very clean pool at 3 am still clean I had no issues at all with this visit. It's a gym. The more we can help take care of the facility as well as the paid employees it makes it easier to annihilate the haters. Only 24 hour gym with a hot tub. If it's clean keep it clean. It's also on us. No excuse. I love this place❤️

One of the nastiest gyms I have been in, the showers have more mold than showers at homeless shelters. Cleaning is NOT a priority. DO BETTER. going back to planet fitness, they at least CLEAN..

Fake weights especially for the machines no way I can bicep curl 150lbs for reps and at a different location my Max is 140, not sure because their old but also, the leather pads are breaking apart not comfortable any more. Only thing I like is that it's closer to where I live. But please replace all the machines. The dumbbells are perfect.

I found out after two years of having a membership that I was over paying for my membership. I talked to one of the staff employees. He said he could lower my rate. When I went in, meagan, the rude general manager must’ve been having a bad day. She would not honor my discount and continue to be a little hostile when I was just trying to get a lower rate since I’ve been a member for so long. She made me feel extremely unwelcome, so i cancelled my membership. For someone having a power trip and thinking they are hot stuff, do you think that at least keep their gym clean and in better condition. I will not be going back to 24 hour fitness until she is removed from this location if that ever happens. I really enjoyed coming here, but she made my experience not worth not going here anymore.

This was my first time using this 24. Had a great experience starting with Dom & Cam at the desk. Dom is THE app wizard, so if you are having problems the app, that even tech support is failing to solve, just hit up Dom. Beyond that, the rest of the gym was good. Busy but enough equipment. Will be back.

This gym has become a real miss on amenities. Auto pay never works because nobody working here can figure it out, gym is always sublease out to teams/etc preventing paying people from using them. Not worth thr money anymore. Look elsewhere

been here for nearly four years and the staff is super helpful every time. the facilities are always clean and there are plenty of weights. Alexis was extremely helpful with a minor issue I had and I look forward to continuing to work out here.

This gym is so disgusting! They never clean the bathrooms, the saunas, nor the machines. Further, there’s black mold in the men’s locker room. There’s an odious stench that never goes away. Overall, It’s not worth it. Even planet Fitness is cleaner than this gym. Also, there’s no AC. In the summers it gets extremely hot. If I could give this gym a 0, I would. Stay away.

I have been a member of this gym since 2019, and I have never seen it so utterly and absolutely filthy. It seems a bit inappropriate that I would receive an email mentioning the increase in my monthly dues, when currently there's no functioning urinals, and the 3 toilet stalls in the mens room are so disgusting that one shouldn't dare sit on a toilet. In addition, the floors surrounding the toilets are flooded with who knows what??? Lastly, the ledges around the gym (floor/ceiling) have literally inches of collected dust. I have NEVER complained about this gym (cleanliness, broken equipment, etc.), but the current state of the mens locker and bathroom is completely unacceptable.

I only come here to work out early in the mornings because it's empty and works great with my work schedule. I really love the 24hr gym. I wish they would have kept it 24hrs Monday through Friday.
