The Derby Chick-fil-A on Rock Road, in the Derby Shopping Plaza by Hobby Lobby. Here is one of the most dependable fast food stops in the area. The meals are always what you would want from the famous chain and the staff is outstanding. I’ve received top level courtesy and professionalism here so it always makes for a good visit. Breakfast is done well here and the dining area is very spacious and clean. I can definitely recommend this location to Derby and McConnell AFB.

Freshest fastest friendliest fast food joint in town. Just wish they was open on Sunday.

This Chick-fil-A is a great place! The staff was very friendly and courteous! Our order was super fast and brought to us while they were very busy. The employee was very proper and friendly! We were very impressed with the quality of our meal. The restaurant was very nice and clean! It was a very busy time of the day. Way to go, Chick-fil-A for your customer service! Together, you all did a fantastic job!! Thank you!

Food was great. The weight and drive-through was somewhat long and the price a little high for fast food. Overall I would say this is a great place to eat. Give yourself a little extra time and expect a higher bill than McDonald’s or Burger King

Food for a wedding party of 20 during lunch rush! Timely and didn't miss a single item in the order! Then 2 of them helped us carry out the order! Thanks for taking the stress out of lunch as we got ready for the big event that evening!

That was the first time I went to chick fil. A and not only was the food good. It was nice and hot. Everything was fresh and the service was outstanding. I hope I get to go again

RE: Chick-fil-A, Derby, KS, #03297 =========================== Counter person; "CONLEY", was not knowledgeable & made several mistakes & could not answer my questions, when asked. I FINALLY asked if he was a new employee, & he stated "no, he had worked there over a year." I was very surprised. I even asked him, why the extra charge on my side selections? He didn't even know there was an extra chg on my sides. And I didn't know until he rang it up on the register. I had just been dismissed from the hospital & had no cash with me. I am 85 yrs old, & on my way home with a designated driver. I was paying for our bill with my Christmas gift card. I was embarassed that I did not know of the extra charges on the side items. He told me we had a choice on the "dinner" sandwich meals. I was embarassed, because this is not posted! It really needs to be, or at least tell the counter employees to mention this to the customer! We had opted for the fresh fruit, soup & the yogurt. When he rang out the sale, is when I found out my card did not have enough money on it, so we had to delete our choices & settle for the waffle fries. He also said we could have ANY size of the beverage we wanted as part of the meal deal. We were traveling, so we ordered the large beverages. When I got 98 charged EXTRA MONEY for the Large Drinks! AGAIN, another mistake, on the employee's part! This could have been AVOIDED, had we known in advance. BUT he had told us, we could have ANY SIZE drinks, were included with our meals. My hospital stay was for over a week, & was not planned in advance. And, I had no cash with me. I had told this new acquaintance, I would buy her gas & treat her for our meal, on the way home, if she would come to the hospital & get me! I had no other way to get home from the hospital, after having emergency surgery. I am on SS & do not have or carry much cash to carry around & since you do not accept personal checks, it makes it a little difficult when being out of town, & trying to pay for meals, etc. And, no, I did not have access to a Debit Bank Card! Needless to say, it was an embarrassing & very unhappy situation! A situation tgat coukd have been avoidable, UF tge counter employee had been knowledgeable about your policies & procedures, & explained them to us in advance! I told him up-front, that I would be paying for our meals with ONLY the gift card! FINALLY After he finalized the order, I asked to have my card back, as he had retained it . There is less than a dollar credit on it. "CONLEY" had the audacity to reply, "Oh, I didn't know you wanted it back. So I did get it back, but I probably would not have, if I had not asked him to please give it back to me. I am not sure if I even want to go back to that particular establishment! Certainly not, if I would be dealing with "CONLEY" again!

It is not my favorite place to go for a chicken sandwich, but they seem to have some sort of deal with the local schools where they offer a "spirit night" that the kids just go bonkers for.

They did me dirty. Off the breakfast menu. I ordered a number 6 with bacon. And only received a biscuit with 3 pieces of bacon. What a scam

The employee was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I came through the door. Very relaxing environment and not a whole lot of people in the lobby fist thing in the morning.

Peach shakes!!! Yummmy!!! Still creepy though. Saying MY PLEASURE! Somebody really thought they were smart when they came up with that!!! So I asked about saying my pleasure and inquired to the pleasure. They looked at me like I'm creepy. Then she said... My pleasure!!! Lol 😵

The food is great! The fries are phenomenal. The service here just depends on who is helping you. Many of the people are willing to bend over backwards to help their customers. Others, though, are rude and make customers feel like they’re in the way. Last night we were watching as the flag was being taken down, balled up, and tossed on a table outside. Please find a boy scout to handle taking down the flag. I agree with a previous comment that management isn’t taking customer care as seriously as they once did. Maybe some of the people who are good with the customers should be trainers?
