My daughter goes to climbing club here and loves it. We also go roller skating, which is great fun.

Forgot my membership card. Had to enroll and sign disclaimer all over again. Last time they fined me 50p too. Had to pay to keep a 2 year old with me to watch his brother climb. Another person I was with was not allowed to watch his son climb because he wasn't a climber, he was sent to the viewing gallery where you can't see the wall from. The walls VERY limited, but I knew this, the staff/process/policies/nonsense compounds the problem. Will avoid returning at all costs and drive the 45 minutes to Sheffield instead.

Used as my nearest indoor climbing wall. It is often quiet when I go along but even on busier days there are still plenty of routes to climb. The wall is called The Face and is very good value for money. I do however questions some of the route setting as some of the grades feel easier than many of climbing gyms with comparable grades. For example 6b feels more like 6a at other gyms, they often seem to be just a grade a higher than counterparts.

It wasn't bad. A nice place and helpful staff. My only complaints is that it's a bit small and whenever I go they seem to have had a system change and I have to join the centre all over again.

Used grass football pitch only, the slope on the pitch makes it hard for some players, did not use changing facilities due to Covid, the leisure centre is set in a valley next to train line for steam engines.

Nice wall to climb on with some good routes of various grades

Went to give blood, so no comments about the leisure centre itself. It's a good venue for donation although the parking isn't great.

Great climbing/bouldering wall. Friendly staff, routes well set and changed at good intervals, good value for money 😀.

This used to have a great climbing wall, but most of it is now shut and not many people go any more

A good little leisure centre. Don't expect glamour, but 'use it or lose it'!

Great staff who can't do enough for you and really care for their visitors and facilities.
