Gluten free/dairy free? You can eat so many items on the menu! Lucky Lotus is consistently delicious, accessible for folks on special diets, and interesting. Favorites are the crispy rice wraps (pictured), the lucky tofu, whatever curry is seasonal on their menu, the after school fried rice, and the sesame balls. The only downside is that they're not open 24/7 or that I don't actually live in the restaurant itself.

I like that you order at the counter and then sit down with a number. The space is beautifully decorated and food came out in a timely manner. Staff was extremely kind and courteous. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup reminded me of my mom's. We both really enjoyed our food and look forward to going back.

Just tried Lucky Lotus for the first time. Exquisite food! Fresh ingredients expertly prepared. Everything was piping hot and really well balanced. Service was excellent. You order up front but they bring the food and we were checked up with to make sure everything was good. I will be back many times!

Very cool spot. Great vegan options on the menu because you can substitute tofu as your protein in lots of dishes. The sweet potato panang with tofu was so tasty and comforting! Lovely flavors and very filling. I highly recommend and will be going back to try more menu items!

I'm from southeast asia, and I can tell you that the food tastes exactly like home 😭. I tried the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, and Tom Yum Noodle Soup. 10/10 for both, and I bet everything else are equally good. Was looking forward to trying the Char Kuay Teow but was told that their menu changes from time to time so do check the website or inquire about the latest menus!! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere too, perfect for Instagram photos!!!!

You can order anything on the menu and won't be disappointed. Loved everything about their food and atmosphere. You'll have to pay first and then find your seat, self service for water and utensils etc.

Good food. Spice level is real. Excellent spring rolls and peanut sauce. Easy to have a good vegan meal relatively cheap. Spring rolls: 10/10 Peanut sauce: 11/10 Drunken noodles: 8/10 I enjoyed the noodles, but I don’t recommend adding any spicy to it. It’s probably plenty as is, and I shouldn’t have added.

We stopped by on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a table! They do a lot of takeout. Service was super fast. Food was delicious! The spice level is no joke. I got a 2 and love spicy and the 2 was definitely spicy but flavorful. Crabies were perfectly fried and the filling was full. Add the Chinese sausage to your fried rice, it’s worth it.

This place is pretty damn good! The best item is the crispy rice wraps, amazing flavor and chicken is crispy. The drunken noodles were delicious too. The only thing to watch out for is how spicy you want the food 🌶️ I said 0 or minimal spicy on a scale from 1-5 and the drunken noodles still came out pretty hot. A friend ordered spice level 2 and the noodles were on fire. Tongue was numb immediately after a few bites. Overall the food was delicious and portions are decent! Just make sure you say 0 spicy if you can’t tolerate spicy foods.

I ordered Crispy Rice Wraps last night. $10! Yum! You can order whatever level of heat you want. I don’t know how they make the rice crispy, but it is fabulous. A delightful crunch in every bite. My girlfriends and I got there at 5:20. By 5:45–on a Monday—the room was full with a line waiting to order. This is not a restaurant with full service at your table. You order at a window, select your drink, sit down at a table, and very shortly someone brings your food to you. They have tables outside on the sidewalk too. Fun, funky, Asian decor. I’ll be back. 🤩

Stopped at Lucky Lotus yesterday when I was in Des Moines and was delighted to see so many vegan options. I got the veggie dumplings and orange tofu. I was so impressed, the coating on the tofu was spectacular and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really fun. Going to have to make a trip to Des Moines again soon!!

So much flavor and well cooked food with fresh ingredients. Staff is helpful and knows what they are doing so you are well taken care of. Place has a super good vibe with creative neons, art, and the sweet umbrella s! Best of the best!

First, this is a really cute establishment with movie posters on the walls, fortune cats on the counter, and colorful umbrellas on the ceiling. Please note that it is very much a self-service place. Customers order at the counter, take a number, and seat themselves. My husband and I shared chicken pad thai and curry puffs. The curry puffs were our favorite! We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a hint of ginger in them. The pad thai was pretty typical but a little on the spicy side. We got a 2 on spice level. We would eat here again!

Unique selection of food and a really laid-back, warm atmosphere! So many things I want to try. The pumpkin rangoon sauce was SO good that my eyes got all wide and my jaw literally dropped open after tasting it. If you are feeling a little adventurous, come here!
