This place was truly interesting! The tour costs 600 dinars per person and lasts about 30 minutes. Make sure you bring a jacket and wear socks, it's cold!

(Translated by Google) A beautiful place. Be sure to walk the sand path from the camp to the prayer. For beginners it is a little demanding but quite interesting. The trail is about five kilometers long in one direction. I put four stars because there are plastic bottles, cans and other garbage everywhere. The park guards need a little more attention to that. Because nature is beautiful for every recommendation. (Original) Prelepo mesto.

Nice site to visit and experience various rock formations which are made visible by incredible indoor lighting and it is worth paying a visit to this site. Need to carry a jacket to keep oneself warm since it is quite cold inside the cave.

Resava Cave is the most extensive cave system in Serbia. It is difficult to walk, the stairs are slippery, and it is freezing. One extraordinary adventure.

This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves certainly in this part of the world. Definitely a must see if you are visiting Central Serbia. Make sure you bring a sweater or a jacket as the cave tends to be very cold, no matter what time of the year you are visiting.

It was great, but the tour was short and fast. It would've been even greater if they had interesting souvenirs to sell. This cave has a touristic potential because of the landscape in front of the entrance and all the nature nearby.

Very nice and interesting cave. Very old. There is about 800m opened for visitors. The journey through the cave lasts about 45 minutes. Many interesting stories to here. In winter you can see the bats hanging around and you are able to take some clouse close range Fotos of them. Our guide was very interesting and polite. You can enter only with guide and the tours are on every full hour. If you miss the time there is a Cafe on site with very polite and friendly staff. They have very good coffee and the prices are low. For every recommendation.

Beautifull old cave. Tour is about 40 minutes and you walk about 800m. Amazing cave jewelry, a lot of interesting stories and a reasonable price. As in most of the caves, it's a little chill, so you can bring some extra piece of clothes.

(Translated by Google) Lookout Molitva is located on a private property. The lookout offers an incredible view of the canyon. You can reach this lookout point on a walking path from Sjenica Camp, it is moderately demanding if you go in the strong sun. From the camp to the Molitva lookout point, you go along the river so you will come across a few more amazing lookouts! You can also reach the Molitva lookout point by car.

(Translated by Google) A place of exceptional natural beauty that has world significance. Like everything else beautiful and valuable in the state of Serbia, forgotten and pushed aside. It is difficult to understand that the Ministry of Tourism has not recognized the value and importance of this locality, which in any normal state would be an attraction and an opportunity for the local community and the state to earn money. First of all, a normal access road is needed, it exists only for off-road vehicles, better security of the lookout, accompanying facilities such as a souvenir shop, restaurant, toilets, maybe a cable car that would connect the banks of the canyon, accommodation. For those who want to get to know the natural beauties of Serbia, an obligatory goal.

Resavska cave is the most famous cave in Serbia. I have been here almost 30 years ago, when I was in 4th grade with school excursion. Nowdays it looks modern, there is a guided tour through 800m of the cave. Tickets are not too expensive, about 3 euros per person. The temperature inside is about 7 degrees celsius, so make sure you bring jackets with you. One thing that is absolutely unacceptable in 2021 is that ticket office is not equipped with credit and debit cards terminals, so they accept cash only.

Resava Cave is the most extensive cave system in East Serbia. One phenomenal and unique experience. Numerous halls, channels, stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstone waterfalls. (Translated by Google) Tours are every hour, and last about 45 minutes. I don't think that information is written anywhere, we stabbed and got there at 15 to 12. Entrance is charged 350 dinars (for adults), parking 100. Someone wrote here that it is very expensive, but .. For those 350 dinars (approximately the price of one coffee and juice in cafes) you get a great experience, where you go down 85 meters below ground level, a guide who is willing to answer all questions, not to mention the cave jewelry itself. It is less crowded on weekdays. And now is the time of year when there are fewer visitors (I think that may be a better option because it is a better experience). I recommend to everyone!

(Translated by Google) Resavska (Divljakovačka) cave is a cave in eastern Serbia, 20 kilometers from Despotovac, in the limestone hill Babina Glava, on the edge of the karst field Divljakovac. It is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Serbia. It is 4.5 km long. Only shepherds who took shelter from storms with flocks of sheep knew about the cave. One of the shepherds discovered it in 1962 with silk mountaineers. It was examined in detail by Novi Sad speleologists, led by Dr. Jovan Petrović. The works on the arrangement of the cave lasted for 10 years. The cave was officially opened to visitors on April 22, 1972. It is one of the oldest examined caves, it is about 80 million years old. The cave has been explored up to 2850 meters, and the part for the tourist tour is 800 meters long. Beautiful cave with very reach cave’s scenery. Everything is very well organized, tour is well guide, but a little bit short. Local guide mention that there was some concerts inside of the caves, so that is something that would be worth visiting. Pictures are saying more then words, so I add few pictures from inside of the cave.

The cave is located in the Upper Resava region. The cave is estimated to be 80 million years old while the oldest speleothems date from 45 million years ago. It has four halls on two levels each and the speleothems are colored in red, yellow and white. Altitude at the entrance into the cave is 485 metres (1,591 feet) and the lowest point inside is at 405 metres (1,329 feet).[2][3] The cave was formed by the sinking river in the limestone substrate. Cave formations are right at the entry. They are formed through the dissolving of the calcium carbonate. The color depends on the mineral through which the water flows: red from the iron oxide, white from the crystallized calcium and yellow from the traces of clay. The symbol of the cave is a massive stalagmite, 20 m (66 ft) tall and 12 m (39 ft) wide. After its appearance, it was named the Statue of mother with a child. The cave consists of 8 halls.

If not the most beautiful, view point it is certainily one of them and definitely worth of attention. Path is of intermediate ascent, and while hiking meanders of Uvac lake will catch glimpse of visitor eye. It is also habitat of Griffon vulture, so visitor will surely enjoy its flight.

This is the fantastic place and view is perfect. To climb from the lake level to the viewpoint is one of the hardest that I had but every inch is worth of sweat and pain when you see the view. There is small Cafe where you can buy coffee, brandy, juice and eat pancake. If you don't like climbing there is van transport as well

Amazing viewpoint of the gorgeous serpent-shaped river Uvac. We got there from a boat down at the river. It was a little steep ascend, but not that difficult and absolutely worth it. Did it with a 8 year old and a 9 year old without any problems. It took us about 1:15 hours to climb, enjoy a beer and the view, and get back to the boat. Supposed to be reachable by land also, but we haven't tried that.

The cave is stunning. The only thing we didn’t like was that the guide wouldn’t even tell us anything in English. She knew we didn’t speak Serbian, and she DID speak English. She simply didn’t care that we didn’t understand anything. Also we had to pay extra for parking when we weren’t even in a parking lot.

  • 5/5 Anindita G. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely brilliant. The natural form of stalagmites are incredible to see. Learnt the history from the tour guide. The cave is believed to be 80 million years old. There is an entry fee to see the cave. They take people inside and out in batches and every batch lasts for almost 45 to 50 mins. We can only see till a certain portion of the cave.

It is worth trying and visiting. The cave is very beautiful and large. Tickets are sold at the door and there is a restaurant and cafe outside and paid parking. When we visited there were no tours in English unfortunately. The inside of the cave is very cold. Even in the summer you can rent a jacket from there.
