People ride bike, walk, picnic, roller blades, fish around the boat club. Not a lot of trash in the area, you would see some in the rocks where people left trash when they fish 🙄. Just a good place to chill and you follow the riverwalk all the way to GM Renaissance center to get snacks and drinks. Problem is there are not much public parking for this spots so you have to come before 10am to find free parking. If you park on some street near outdoor adventure you will get tickets. $45.

Nice little stop located right by the river walk. Love downtown, grew up down here and really love to have been able to watch its growth! Hope it continues to grow so we can get more people to come visit detroits beauty! For sure check out the river walk and all of its surroundings if in the area, thank me later!

Beautiful!! Right on the Riverwalk in Downtown Detroit. There's water for the kids to play in. A Carousel and play areas along the walk. The Riverfront Cafe to get something to eat and drink. Plenty of seating along the walk. A garden to stroll through, telescopes for you to take a look over in Canada where you can get a closer look at Cesar Casino and the Canadian flag. Honestly just too much to see and enjoy along the way.

Lots of parking (for free) and a lovely view of Canada. They’ve made effort with the gardens and flowers and interpretive signs but nothing can really detract from the wide fenced off parking lots on the other side of the River Walk. Water and bathrooms and trash cans for those who need them. Lots of cycling and scooters around. Downright pleasant. Also enjoy the carousel with sea creatures instead of horses (if it ever gets reopened post COVID19).

This is the old Tri-Centennial Park that is now an urban state park. Beautiful place once you get through the other urban blight.

A lovely place for our sunday stroll complemented by the blue skies of a nice November day. Still kind of a work in progress in some ways but nevertheless pleasant.

Great little park to walk in, was not looking so good when we were there, still a bit to early but they will be out there and clean it up soon I'm sure. The had all the daisies in and they're looking good. Will definitely be back towards the end of summer to see everything in full bloom and colorful.

A beautiful spot. It's not as safe for kids, as there is different fencing or none at all in some places. It's more of an adult chill spot if you ask me. But absolutely beautiful

Lovely park and they installed the viewfinders that have colorblind friendly glasses. Fun to take my husband and his brother there for them to see the fall colors. Had a good time walking around and taking in the city and seeing some of Canada across the river! Cool place to spot big boats if you're into that. Lots of history to explore nearby too. Detroit is underrated!

The river walk and Bell Isle are my favorite spots around Detroit. Across the river is Windsor, Canada. The headquarter of General Motors and other buildings reminds me of the glory in the hayday of Detroit. Free parking are available at the north end and on the street.

This is a nice park to visit. There is ample parking. You can take a walk and connect to Riverwalk. You can enjoy looking at the lighthouse. You can take a picnic and sit under the pavilion. There is a carousel to enjoy during summer time. There are restaurants on site as well. You can also enjoy the Eastern Market on the weekends. A very fun time for couples and families.

The hill is newly renovated and back open. Right across from the DNR outdoor adventure center. It offers great views of the river and Canada. They installed 2 new binoculars that correct for color blindness at the top of the hill also that are free to use.

Always a great park to stop and get a picture of the lighthouse, walk, people watch and see the water. Parking is always limited and the tore up dirt lot fills up just before dusk. No restrooms if your on the wrong side of the lighthouse. Park hours are STRICTLY enforced.

The park is very clean and well kept. I was there for a charity event, despite living in the city, I'd never been there before. It was a nice walk down to the Princess. I can imagine that it's prettier when the plants are blooming. Parking was kind of an issue, but that's likely more because of the event.

Such a beautiful to visit. If you have a boat that needs to be docked, here's the downtown parking area for your boat. Within walking distance to all the downtown attractions, restaurants, and stores. The Renaissance Center is clearly in sight and a healthy person can surely make the the couple of blocks jaunt. The area looks and feels safe and is clean in appearance.

By far the nicest marina in Detroit. Access to everything! Bike the riverwalk, get food at Atwater Brewery, Breakfast at Cliqué, nice hike up the dequindre cut to the eastern market. They have transient and seasonal (reserve in advance). Lots of activity, fishing, concerts, freighters…

It was an absolutely awesome day for the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church "Rock" Fest in the park with Pastor Antoine T Colvin and the community of faith.

There is enough area to walk around or sit with your loved ones, Benches facing the Detroit river and Canada across the river. Excellent riverfront view, peaceful and also has the Ambassador bridge on your right as you face Canada. Parking is also available for those coming in their own vehicle with parking for specially abled people facing the park entrance. Really peaceful and great for a nice sunny day. There are restrooms for general public at the entrance of the park.

This morning while walking the path along the meadow grasses of the hill we saw three grouse taking a stroll! I love what they’ve done with that pile of dirt that just sat there and weekend warriors used for strength training. Now common folk like me can better enjoy the hill, the views, and all of the beauty of conservancy

Probably the most Beautiful part of the 5 plus miles of the Detroit River Walk. Pictures don't do it justice. Go see it for yourself.
