Th dirtiest most disgusting note On the planet. Went there last night we went up to our room and it was dirty, sink clogged bathroom not cleaned, went down to the lobby given another room, went up to this room puddle on the floor unmade bed. Nasty. Final room bed was made but no clogs just a dirty shower with hair all over it! I’ll take it. No apology, no help from The staff, just a disgusting experience. As of today no rashes or bed bugs so that’s a win!

The hotel itself is quite nice but they have the worst possible service: there will be no room service at all no matter how long you stay. No trash will be emptied, no toilet paper refilled, no towels replaced, no coffee refilled, no room cleaning, or anybody entering the room at all for any service. When complaining, the staff just said that this is how they operate since COVID (now its May 2023). Then please adjust your star rating, because daily room cleaning is even a requirement for a one star hotel! During our stay there were guests who just emptied their trash can into the hallway, and not even that was taken care of in a timely manner. I still give three stars just because the room itself was quite nice.

The line to check in was outrageously long. No one answers the phone at the front desk. The cleaning staff is extremely rude and blasts extremely profane rap music with no headphones on that can be heard down the hall. I traveled to this hotel due to the proximity to Ford field. When walking into the hotel, people were loitering right in front of hotel eating their dinner, playing loud music and it just seemed like a big party. While checking in, I overheard the front desk staff complaining they were not given breaks, or lunch. Overall, the front desk staff was friendly but you could tell they are extremely short staffed. We were not informed there would be no turn down service or cleaning in between overnight stays. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee was in room. They have a $27 amenity fee that I am not sure what that was for. Our first morning, we had no hot water in shower. We attempted to call the front desk, and it just rang for 5 minutes with no one answering. I went down to the lobby to let the front desk know and the line was extremely long. We found a housekeeping staff member in our hallway to inform and she put the request into maintenance. The hotel really needs an app or email if they are going to be understaffed, that way they handle service related issues. I told the front desk upon check out and they just gave me a card to call a manager. I am not sure who trains this company in customer service but the manager should have been available to speak with. Front desk acted like this was normal. The casino is not fair at all 9 out of every 10 hands were a loss.

We arrived for check in at 4, and the line to the counter was about 45 minutes to check in. This is the worst way to welcome your guests at a hotel. The furniture in the lobby is quite nice and the vibe took the edge off of having to wait, and there was a very nice staff member offering to check bags in if any guests wanted to drop their belongings off and come back when the check in desk was less busy. The corner room we got was clean and updated and honestly better than I anticipated. The location is great if you're looking to be out and about but please don't reserve this on a weekend thinking you're going to get R&R. There's a constant engine revving on the streets below from guys who think they're auditioning for the next fast and furious movie. It went until at least midnight.

Rooms are fine, but the hotel staff will keep you awake. They yell up and down the halls all day when trying to rest. Only place like this in many years of traveling and living out of a suitcase around the world.

Never lose if you come here! Slots and tables are hot!🔥 Hotel and restaurants are great! You won't ever leave here disappointed. Awesome location, spiral parking entrance and exit of the 12 floor parking garage is neat. If you roller blade down it be careful you can pick up alot of speed and their could be cars coming.

We were there for a 4 day event. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequate but with covid protocols still in place no room cleaning took place. It would have been nice if the hotel had a restaurant other than Dunkin donuts. It was good There were many places to eat though on Monroe St. Banquet was good food was hot. And aside said before from the valet parking to bell staff and the catering staff on the 5th floor. They all did a stellar job even with having a much larger event running concurrently. Only complaint is walls were too thin you could hear traffic at night from the 17th floor

Staff was friendly, the room was clean & had a great view of Detroit. Check in was quick & easy considering you can do it online. Easy access to the People Mover; things seemed to be in good working order considering the strike was going on.

We had a great time at the Greektown Hotel. Was our last night in town and the wife and I wanted a little night out with out having to leave the hotel. Although we didn't win big at the casino it was a much needed night out for us after a week of trying to entertain our 2 kids. The food was great, so many restaurants in side and within walking distance. The Greektown feel was awesome with the Greek music playing as you walk down the street near the hotel. The hotel had free public parking even if you weren't staying at the hotel which is nice to know for future visits to the city.

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. Stayed here recently, Very nice, comfortable room, with a view of all of downtown Detroit. Beautiful at night with the city lights. We love staying here when we " Do the town". So close to lots of great restaurants, bars and venues. Plus the casino, of course....

Outstanding location. You can walk anywhere you are trying to go or take the people mover. Room had an awesome view, simple, recently renovated, clean. Could hear music coming from another room late into the night. Staff member screamed at some lady for standing on a table...idk why the lady decided to stand on the table, but I do know that she will never do it again after that. 😳

I was VERY excited to stay at Greektown Hotel newly remodeled rooms to my disappointment the room had the lowest quality grade furniture. The steel bed frame possibly chance of stomping your toe. Dorm room refrigerator on floor…what if you had a bad back??? The desk not leveled chair isn’t economics friendly. I could go on… only thing that was nice was the shower. Staff was friendly needless say I checked out didn’t stay the night. Actually it remind me of my granddaughters dorm room.

Stayed for a night to attend a show at St Andrews Hall. Nice clean room, shower was very nice. Biggest bummer was no microwave (I should have checked before we booked). Front desk offered no solution, not even a common microwave to use or anything. I have food allergies and it's hard enough to travel without being able to eat out anywhere, but what hotel (and expensive hotel at that) doesn't have a microwave to use? Or willing to problem solve with me? Would love to stay here again, but can't.

Check in was three and a half hours late. Which made us almost late for the concert because we kept waiting for our room to be ready. no time to relax or freshen up. Beautiful view with deluxe room. Coffee machine in room broken. Just disappointing as we don't do the concert , hotel trip very often.

I had a wonderful time as always BUT!!! I must point out the CUSTOMER SERVICE was horrible. Yes it was super bowl but $250 for a table at the sports book bar 😲 And $100 an hour after SMH so disappointed and it was my birthday and I had guest as well. Then we go over to the food court and Red lotus Asian Kitchen 🤦🏽‍♀️ Food was really good 👍🏾 But the customer service was the WORST!!! The cashier, she was soooooo nasty and rude... She is the chubby girl with the long wavy orange wig. What a down grade to the company. But it won't stop me from going!!! Thanks Hollywood Casino for an awesome time!!!!

I would’ve considered Greektown Hotel & Casino high end considering the prime location. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the first two rooms they put us in were absolutely unacceptable. Floor rugs were not vacuumed in either room (oh they do not have vacuums, only brooms) dried ketchup on the seating area, stained sheets, food & dust on floors, and broken glass in the corner by the opening to mini fridge. The Assistant Hotel Manager’s customer service was not accommodating at all. After two hours, we were returned to the first room (direction of the Assistant Hotel Manager) as it was cleaned by housekeeping a second time. 😔

Beautiful views and an over the top NYE party with amazing food and entertainment. The crowd was so upbeat, and the employees went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a wonderful experience. My only small complaint was that there was very little toilet paper and not enough soap and shampoo for a 3 night stay, and we did not have a do not disturb placard for our door. The safe didn't work either. We called 4 times for toilet paper, extra soap and shampoo, and 2 extra pillows. 2 hours later, we had a knock on the door with a gentleman holding one roll of toilet paper. Although we knew that the hotel was booked and busy for the holiday. So we made do with what we had. All in all, I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here on a Thursday night. The hotel lobby is awesome, it’s decorations were on point. It felt very welcoming. The complimentary valet parking was top notch. It was a good price for a Thursday ($110 something). The rooms were a good size. The bathrooms were the best part. It even had a steamer for your wrinkly clothes. bed was comfy. I wish the living space had more seating. It just had a desk chair. Also no microwave. The floors had a weird stickiness to them too.

The suites are fantastic, very clean. I don't like that there are electrical sockets on only one side of the bed. The regular rooms are decent, but difficult to fit a small refrigerator into. Microwaves and refrigerators are only available to those who can pay for them, they use to be at no cost. My biggest issue is the service. Took myself and my wife several calls just for a few extra cups of coffee. This was on a weekday, and they weren't busy. Not the first time I've had this problem. Sometimes the sheets are stained and the carpet's are not cleaned. On the plus side, most, not all, nearby restaurants take comps.

Great area if you want to be near nightlife. Convenience-only hotel. Restaurants are nice inside casino. Parking is great. Hotel was very hot at night despite turning thermostat down & shower had mold. (Yes, we did inform the front desk).

We spent two nights for the Lions MNF. Check In staff (asst mgr) was GREAT! Room was lovely, view was amazing. Bed was way too soft for my personal likings. Ease of access to stadium, bars, restaurants etc were all great. The BAD - after the game I was unable to shower because of lack of hot water (service guy who was nice showed up at 1am and still didnt get water hot) So I went to bed with blue hair, which would have been nice to wash out! He said too many football fans used all of the hot water. UMMM, if you have the rooms, you should have the water!! I was so very disappointed!!! Then when we left we noticed our car was backed into with pretty bad damage. Security didnt seem to really care, but the cops came and made a report. So, yes, its a nice place but for the money we spent I should have been able to bathe!!!!! Ive had hotter water at campgrounds! We wont return thats for sure!

This was a good experience for my first visit to the motor City of Detroit! The hotel was clean the amenities were okay there was no microwave in the rooms and also housekeeping was not available. You had to actually either request your towels for the next day or go to the front desk and pick them up. The convenient part was the casino connected to the hotel with the restaurants that was a nice touch for convenience. I stated this hotel for a family reunion and I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Detroit and want a comfortable affordable stay.

It has been a Horrible experience for my Son's wedding. The hotel first messed up on the early check in fee being waived for the party and some members of the party could not check in before rehearsal. Also no food for breakfast. Only have room service and you have to leave a message. Hour and a half later, still no call. Waited 7 minutes to talk to front desk for them to look into it and tell me they don't know why room service isn't picking up.

I would avoid this hotel at all costs on the weekends. Staff is not pleasant; no free breakfast and parking is a nightmare. Getting out of the parking garage can take over a few hours as they seem to release people by floor if there is an event. If you call the front desk, they say they let their VIP guests leave garage first and you are a prisoner until they all can leave. During the week it is ok to stay at but would not recommend staying here on a weekend. Stay somewhere else.

No coolers or alcohol in your room, so they can gouge you at the casino. But an overall nice hotel with nice views.

Rooms are smallish, but clean, well-appointed, and nicely decorated. Big shower, lots of phone charging outlets, a safe, refrigerator, ample storage. Desk and Bell staff are helpful and pleasant.

The Hotel was nice and clean. However the pillows were horrible and I had a neck cramp for 3 days. The staff some of them were extremely nice others wouldn't even say hi when you said hi to them. The food after 10:00 p.m. was absolutely minimal during the week and I did not feel comfortable outside of this hotel at night whatsoever. There was a lack of lighting and the atmosphere was rough

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This website will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed. This was a nice place to stay for the night, and the downstairs bar was beautiful with a live band. There is a food court there as well with a few options. I am not much of a gamble but it looked like plenty of games. Just walking from the parking lot to the casino is a stunning view of the neighborhood and churches. Beautiful view from the hotel of the surrounding area.

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay here. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was fresh, clean, well appointed. The pillows were really excellent. The location is easily walkable to so much fun night dining and entertainment. I felt safe walking the surrounding area after dark. I shall stay here again!

The room is good; the location is excellent, thank god I didn’t face the issue of a long queue for check-in since I checked in late but I saw the other day long queue, and the view from the room was very nice There are no housekeeping services, no breakfast.

So, stayed here over the past weekend. Before I say anything bad. If I was able to give 20 stars on the room, I would. The rooms are emasculated. Gorgeous! Dare you to go through room with white glove. Beautiful room! Hands down best part of our stay. Wife and I decided on Greektown for our anniversary. We also got the stay, and play package offered. Complimentary $30 food voucher anywhere on premises, and $20 slot play for each room member. We decided on going to the barstool sportsbook for dinner. My wife got the pizza, which was very good. But we believe it made her sick 😫 she was back and forth to bathroom all night. Which was pretty crappie, since that basically ended our night. That would've been no problem. We would've been happy enjoying each other's company on our special night. But a wedding party decided to use the hallway for party zone. Not against it, but when your hollering down the hallway. It can be difficult for a Marine veteran overcoming PTSD, to find it easy to fall asleep. After discussing all this with the front desk, the middle of the evening. And the following morning, I was given no apologies or compensation. Very displeased with the treatment we were given

Only negative was the check in process. I was second in line and it took a little over 15 minutes to get in front of the clerk. Our actual time with the clerk was about three minutes so not sure what took so long with the people in front of me. Though the process was slow, the clerk and everyone else we dealt in the hotel were friendly and courteous.

I encountered a clogged sink shortly after checking in. I asked to be moved and they said that they couldn't. They called maintenance and they arrived with a plunger. I'm not sure why anyone in there right mind would think a plunger would be the best tool to unclog a sink. I had to ask the maintenance guys to leave.

Honestly I think I'm just dissapointed about what I paid for the room. For $400 a night I expected more. Location is great and the room was clean. View was very nice as well. I have traveled a lot and have stayed in much nicer rooms for much much less. I haven't stayed in Detroit a lot so maybe after a couple stays at other places I will edit.

I enjoyed my stay here. The view from the corner king room was remarkable. I could look out the window all day. I had a nice view of the GM Renaissance center and Canada over the water. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was a little confused about the parking and hopefully they'll improve it. When I checked in the parking was free, by the time I came back to the garage it was $10 but I was a guest at the hotel and it was free but I couldn't get past the gate. There was nobody in the security booth, luckily a frequent casino player behind me in line got me in. The next night it was the same confusion. I scanned my room key card but the gate didn't go up. Finally the gate went up, I'm not sure if the desk realized I had a room card or if it was random.

The suite looked like no one had adequately cleaned it for weeks. More than five significant stains on the carpet and various substances splattered on the walls and furniture fixtures. When I asked for housekeeping to clean the suite, I was told they no longer clean rooms until checkout, a policy enforced since COVID. My response was that the suite looked like no one had cleaned it before check-in. Three hours, four phone calls, and two housekeeping associates later, I was finally able to get the room spot cleaned. I recommend people spend their time and money elsewhere at hotels whose services and amenities match their price point.
