I haven’t had Happys from this site in over 2 years because of the service. So today me and my family ordered food and the first dinner 1 half brush of barbecue sauce on the ribs , they forgot the shrimp , bread, onion rings were soggy..2 dinner rib tips half sauced no bread no Cole slaw burnt fries..3 no bread. They didn’t send no utensils, no hot sauce that was asked for or no ketchup that was asked for … horrible horrible horrible… never again!

Food and service is good UNLESS YOU CALL FOR DELIVERY! Whenever I order from now on I will go in person because they ALWAYS leave off an item that I ordered for delivery. I once ordered a full slab rib dinner and they sent me a half slab instead...and sent me the other slab an hour later. The very last time I ordered delivery, they made up and made the order right, but the driver forgot my 2 liter Cherry Pepsi. To compensate, he went to the gas station and bought 2 20 oz. Cherry Pepsi pops and said it cost $2.75 and gave me a dollar back after ten minutes of waiting. Gtfoh! 2 20 oz. pops is NOT equivalent to 1 2 liter! THIS WAS A BIG INCONVENIENCE! For best results, you would be better off going to this location in person to make sure your order is served right.

I do not usually write reviews, but I just HAD to share my most recent experience ordering from this restaurant. I had a very large school order. I ordered chicken, ribs, salad, pizzas, etc, and EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I needed my order early, so the owner came into work early to ensure that my order was prepared correctly, and that I had NO WAIT TIME. Although I picked up my order, a delivery option was offered to me. I was concerned that because it was such a large order the possibility of a mistake. However, everything was prepared as ordered, and the customer service was "A" one. I even received a follow up call from the owner to ensure that everything was satisfactory. Great food and great customer service, the perfect combination. NEW MANAGEMENT is definitely making a difference. I will be a repeat customer.

Not consistent. Items are great, one visit, then simply horrible the next visit. Returned a half slab of ribs because they were dry to the extreme. I do not eat pizza, the menu has a great variety of selections. Return is great, they refund the money. That gets them a 4 instead of a 3.

Our company just ordered lunch from this location and let me say that I’m impressed! We are a large agency that ordered 3 catering size orders of Bread and wings, 9 pizzas and 6 pops and 1 catering size salad. They provided plates, cutlery condiments and napkins appropriate to the size of our function. The delivery was fast and the delivery driver was helpful and nice. The food was hot, fresh and precise. They didn’t skimp on anything including great customer service. The NEW manager Tony called us prior to delivery and let us know that he gave us a complimentary salad and then called again after to make sure that everything was correct. He is a class act… 5 star service!

It depends on when you go and who makes the food. Most of the time the food is fine, but this most recent time, when this lady made my food, the food was super burnt & the meat was discolored (turning green). Then, as we stared at my super black bread, she told me and the other people that brought their food back,"That's how it's supposed to be"

Dry nasty pizza no cheese. Hard crust over priced took way too long. Completely done with Happy's for good. Unbelievable horrible service.

I’ll start off by saying I been waiting 2 hours for an order I’m 8 minutes from happy pizza btw I got a call saying the food was done and they will send a driver a hour passed I called I get told they will contact driver and they will call me back in 15 mins it’s now another 45 mins and no one has communicated nothing with me I’m sitting here starving just so unprofessional gotta do better ! …….. update so I called back again instead getting a call back like promised to check and see what’s goin on I was then told my whole order was cancelled out which would of been nice to get a call a head ups or something all I can say is never again

Recently walked in to grab some late night food. Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Not sure if it is under new management or what but it was much cleaner, staff was very pleasant, and the food was much better than in previous years. It used to be the last option for me when grabbing food in the neighborhood. Now I've had it twice this week. Will definitely be back more.

My 1st time in Detroit, I was looking for a late night bite. Couldn't find anything, Happy's Pizza was opened. I was nervous, it was dark, not my neighborhood but, this was the best choice I made. I made a U-turn and went in. The staff are the kindest people and reps of the company. Happy Holidays

You don’t sell no mess like this to anyone this bread look like it came from 10 different orders if they where not closed I’ll take this mess back. You can tell it wasn’t even baked together why would y’all give someone something like this. I wish my coworker wouldve checked my food but I get it not to go in others food because this is unacceptable I don’t even trust it

Tony the owner is the best. His driver's Tre and Terrance are are on point and get your food to you hot and promptly

If you want fantastic pizza with fresh toppings and very tasty pizza make your way to HAPPYSPIZZA and I’m sure you will be more than satisfied!

Shrimp dinner was good. You could tell they had just changed the oil. I'd only ask that they giveore fries with the meal, they were pretty tight with them.

Giving them five stars for consistently being one of the last places in the city to buy food after 11pm and for giving great deals on pizzas people never picked up. They deal with the worst of the worst customers and I'd be a little salty too if I took the kind of abuse the last pizza place open in Detroit takes. Keeping staff safe and showing up is so bad that the McDonalds down the road closes at 9pm - folks negging this place have no idea they're dumping on their last drunken hope short of that pizza joint on Monroe that serves the giant soggy slices for $5 each.

Delivered as promised. Was in a pinch and they delivered as promised and went above and beyond helping me out. The pizza was hot, the breadsticks were golden and the salad was perfect. Deserts were spot on for my guests. Owner was hands on and made it happen. Thank you.

It’s been years since I ordered from happy’s pizza, my oldest daughter was a baby. I had the food delivered and I must say the pizza was very good. The delivery Young Lady was excellent, very kind and professional!!! That alone won me! Great job 👏🏾

The Manager Bill at the JEFFERSON HAPPYS PIZZA HAS MADE MY DAY !!!!! HE TOOK CARE OF A LITTLE PROBLEM I HAD. I LOVE THE SLAB OF RIBS BETTER THAN ALOT OF PLACES. PIZZA IS GOOD ALSO. I TELL EVERYONE " GET A SLAB OF RIBS " THEY ARE SO GOOD AND DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY. Ordered a pickup 2 lb wings dinner fries and bread sauce second 1/2 pound the wings did the barbecue sauce fries and bread third large Greek salad for 1 they told me 20 minutes so I gave him 25 minutes got to get in there they told me wait a few minutes which was 10 minutes someone had came before me the order was made she was a nurse at the nearby hospital they gave her the food she brought back that was wrong and they turned around and gave it back to her it's so she didn't know I thought that was really bad then they gave me my food my salad was tripping all over the counter when I walked out the door it was all over my hand the man that was coming in sword he held the door for me as I went back and told her they gave me my salad back it was still dripping so he took it and put it into another bag when I got home I found out that they didn't give me the bread I paid for I called them and told them they said they give me a credit they hung up I called back it said not only the salad was tripping I didn't get any bread the manager answer the phone when I told him if he hung up on me so I said Subway I'm going to let people know do not expect good service at Happy's Pizza number 11 6412 East Jefferson Detroit Michigan 48207 my ticket number was 70 I picked it up 10 3 2021 at 8:17 p.m. the person I talked to with Shirley she was nice but the manager please don't order here if you can until they change their position or customer service

Wish I knew jets would have delivered to me instead. Driver was nice but the pizza seemed like it had been forgotten in the warmer for sometime before they got around to bringing it to me. Waste of $20

First time at this Happy's Pizza and will Be the last I ordered 2 pounds of rib tips and got six pieces each it was either bone or gristle and a few crumbs I buy rib tips from other Happy's Pizza and always been satisfied but this E. Jefferson location will not get another $25 for twelve bones with little meat 😤

(Updated 01/14/21) still haven't been able to get my order right. The first time I went here I waited and hour maybe more for one pizza I online ordered saw several people come in and give there order and leave with it. 2nd time they got the pizza correct and didn't wait long 3rd time I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. But there was no chicken! 4th time was a free pizza that still didn't have my order correct. Either they need to slow down or yall need new people. Something has to be done Ridiculous!

Terrible all the way around. Even if they would have gotten the order correct, it still would have been awful. Pizza was like a loaf of bread with plain tomato sauce. I literally spit it out. Salad was small, missing ingredients and came with disgusting, cheap dressing. The chicken was missing the seasoning that we ordered. The ribs were chewy and also in a cheap, inferior sauce. They were supposed to come with bread but did not. They did come with a few bbq sauce soaked fries. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about this place. Do not waste your money here.
