In between. Convenient, wide selection of foods and nice people working here. It is in between a full grocery store and a convenience shop. Much more than a 7-11 but not as much as a Meijer. Surprisingly, their fresh produce and butcher counter is awesome. A very convenient place if you live nearby and a pretty decent assortment of beers too.

Stay away from there meats as it's seriously the worst quality you can get. Make sure you check expiration dates. Especially on stuff like cottage cheese or orange juice. Other than that prices are real good

I went for the smothered pork chops and I thought they were going to taste like the turkey chops with the peppers and onions and all that stuff but They did not and they were pork steaks and I prefer center cut pork chops. The lady stopped me at the front door and asked me had I ever had to sweet potato pie and my answer was no and she explained to me how exceptional they were so I got a small one and she was certainly correct My mother is from Alabama and she makes an excellence sweet potato pie and I gave my mom some of this lady's pie from the store and my mother was like "this is a good pie!"And if anybody knows how a good chef or cookie is when they compliment somebody else's food is really good you would never think that you can get a pie like that in the store but it was excellent two thumbs up five stars for that pie but them smother pork chops need help some seasoning and some onions and I like mushrooms but I know most people don't I guess I'll have to stick with the turkey chops

Normally the chicken is cooked fresh. It had been there awhile and it was not 🔥. Next time I'll wait for it to be cooked

Do not get the hot food. I ordered, short ribs of beef, mac-n-cheese and cabbage. When I opened the carry-out it smelled sooo bad. The meat was old. The mac-n-cheese had piece of steel in it, like pieces of those steel brillo pads. At this point I didn't even bother with the cabbage.Terribly disappointing. $30 in the trash. The 1 star is for the extremely pleasant staff. Edit: I spoke with Lance and received a full refund and a $10 coupon. I will try them again, as I understand mistakes can and will happen. The top tier customer service alone is enough to give them another try. Thanks again, Lance.

I recently started shopping and I Luv Luv the Turkey Sub Sandwich with RedPeppers. Delicious 100%. Store is Clean, nice Air Conditioner and I Luv there EggLand Eggs and Amish Drumsticks Chicken, Fresh. Staff is friendly. Smooth Sailing! All Smiles☺️

This is my go to for groceries in Lafayette Park! Family owned business that really cares about the neighborhood and their customers. Their prices are great and I love the hot food counter. Try everything but I'm especially obsessed with the ribs and jalapeño Mac and cheese. All the cashiers are so sweet and the brothers that own the place take great personal ownership of keeping everything well stocked and up to date.

Stopped in really quick for some last minute thanksgiving items. This guy who worked there seen me in utter confusion of the store, helped me and I was in and out of the store in no time. The cashier was very speedy and friendly especially for it to have been the holiday. Overall great experience.

My favorite grocery store, everything is so organized and clear. So many different culture food types to choose from and a wide variety of pastas. I travel to come here.

It's a little more expensive than a big Kroger or Meijer and was pretty stinky for a couple months (the stink is gone as of July 2022), but all things considered, it's a decent little neighborhood grocery store. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it's convenient and ok enough

Hadn't been here in years. I was in the area and decided to try a meal. They've gone up in price, but food was delish! Spend the money and get a dinner. Shout out to the cook who made the dressing AND the sweet potato pie. 😊

Prices are very very high, hot food section Mac n Cheese, yams, and baked chicken were completely disgusting. I paid 17.00 for some food I couldn't not even eat at all because of the nastiest taste. Other than that sweet potato pie there is great, pasta salad w/chicken & walnuts was very good

Went in for a money order. They were quick friendly and efficient! Greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and asked what they could help me with!

I spend plenty of money at this store every two weeks or monthly, I expressed how they didn’t make sure I had my milk and I came home without it. They push your belongings down with other ppl groceries before they can pick it up. Maybe the other person in front picked it up but the store was no help. It’s the principle about the whole thing. They’re so anxious to get your money they don’t make sure groceries aren’t mixed up. That’s fine I’m just one less customer they have. And I know they really don’t care. I was too lazy to go to Meijer. That’s my fought

I'm one of the people that look for the almost out of date food that the store has marked down so I can take it home and put it in my freezer, Or eat it fast. Do I like this store. Staff could be a bit friendlier but it's Detroit. I think last time I was there I said to the clerk, "Have a good night," and she replied, "Uhhh huh," kind of sounding like F You. But whatever. It's Detroit. However it's a new Detroit and they need to take lessons from the new Meijer where the staff is WAY cool and friendly every time I go. Good beer selection. Good prices on some stuff, other stuff overpriced. Again it's Detroit.

This is one of the best laundromats, I've been coming here for several years. Ms.Lisa is a very caring and excellent worker, she always makes sure each customer is satisfied with their service.
