Gorgeous view, wonderful service from our host and our esteemed server. We booked for about fifteen minutes from sunset, and enjoyed a dynamic view of the skyline as night settled in and the city lights began to glow. For our anniversary, I could not imagine a more romantic location. Dinner was impressive, dessert was sumptuous, our drinks were crafted impeccably. I cannot recommend enough. Salud!

I’ve visited twice and loved Fourteen both times! View is unmatched in Windsor, nothing else like it. Live music was fantastic on a Saturday night. Food was delicious and fresh, we all loved our meals. Drinks were a good price and excellent! Definitely recommend for a fun night out with the girls, or a romantic date night!

We had dinner at this restaurant located on the Detroit River in Windsor, Ontario. The good: The view of the river and the Detroit skyline from the 14th floor is amazing. The service is also great. And the food, although a bit on the expensive side, was good but not spectacular. The bad: there is no REAL bad, just a few things to point out. This restaurant has a bit of a dated look and the furniture (tables and chairs) are a little worn. I had the Moroccan chicken and it was well cooked and presented but the taste didn’t strike me as anything special. My wife had the steak and that was delicious. We shared a slice of a dark chocolate cake for dessert and it was tasty but again, nothing to write home about. I was expecting more from this restaurant from the look of their website and the prices in the menu, but it was still worthwhile being there for the amazing view and the waiter’s personality.

Hats off to the chef!! I celebrated my husbands 50th Birthday tonight and he is vegan and gluten free. (Not easy to go to many restaurants) but the chef was amazing. He made him the most gorgeous and flavourful meal. And to end the meal he made him his very own dessert. My meal was amazing and so flavourful as well. The drinks were so good and you can’t beat the view. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to our beautiful waitress Indiana for making our experience so great! I would highly recommend coming here, we will be back for sure.

Elegantly appointed with a nice ambience. The table by the window brings up the silhouette of the Detroit downtown waterfront. The food was professionally served and tasted great. All those amplified the pleasure of dinning here with a few friends.

Service was excellent and attentive. View near sunset and at night wonderful. Appetizer were good but some of the main courses were a bit dry. Great drink menu though

We came for a Christmas party, and the experience was great. The view was amazing and the restaurant atmosphere was enjoyable. Not too modern or minimalistic and very warm and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend this venue for any small work gatherings. The drinks were Also amazing.

Wow. Every bite literally sang in my mouth. For apps we ordered crab cakes, beef tips, and the charcuterie board. For the main he got a lobster tail with ricotta "dumplings" and a lovely sauce and I got the lamb shank with polenta and veg. Wow. Just wow. I'm not joking when I say every mouthful was an experience. The layers of flavour, the mouth-feel, how the flavors relate to each other was just wow. Every bite I was smiling and my eyes got a little wider each time. The meat of the lamb completely fell off the bone, the polenta was creamy and the gravy was smooth, the taste divine. That, contrasting with the crispy kale was again, wow. I tasted the lobster and ricotta dumplings he ordered and no joke, every time the dumpling hit my tongue it felt like a pillow, soft, and comforting. Those coupled with the sauce were perfection. Our server, Amber, was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and friendly! There was a party going on while we were there and she offered to move us and was constantly checking in to see if we were okay with the atmosphere. She definitely takes pride in her job and excels in it. Overall, it was a great way to celebrate my 30th birthday. This is the kind of experience everyone should be able to partake in at least once in their lives. If you're not used to paying a steeper price for food, it could catch you off guard, but every mouthful is worth it. The chef is highly skilled and you pay for his expertise as well as the quality of the food. You will not be disappointed! Absolutely zero complaints! We will definitely be back!

Definitely will visit again! We made reservations for Saturday at 815pm to celebrate our 3 month wedding anniversary. Restaurant located in the CIBC building's top floor. We had a window table and the view was phenomenal! We overlooked the Detroit River and Detroit's skyline. Our server Sean was fantastic!!! He was friendly, kind and observant to all our needs. We asked for his recommendations and he was very knowledgeable of what Fourteen has to offer. The manager also made his rounds a few times to ensure we were being well taken care of and thanks to Sean we were! The live music was absolutely a bonus and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the ceasar salad and it was presented nicely and tasted fresh. We also had warm bread and butter that went well with the salad. We had the 10oz steak with fries and shrimp. We requested the steak to be well done and it was. It was juicy and full of flavour! No need to use the dipping sauce or add any salt/pepper. The shrimp was done to perfection and the fries were hot and crispy. At Sean's suggestion, we had the creme brulee to finish and it was divine! We have plans to visit the Windsor area frequently and Fourteen will be the restaurant we will eat at on every visit! We haven't been to a restaurant in a ling time where everything was enjoyable!!! The service, food and ambiance was delightful and enjoyable!

I will highly recommend Fourteen Restaurant for a date night, night out with the girls or for any special occasions. The atmosphere and ambiance was classy and nice. I prefer spicy food however the food was not spicy which I didn’t like. To be fair I didn’t ask before ordering so just incase you like spicy food you should confirm with your waiter before ordering. Our waiter however went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our visit which we appreciated very much. The food was reasonably priced for the location and view.

This would be my second review, last one was bitter at the service and the overall attitude of the waitress. I have to say from the welcome at the front door to the dessert service was impeccable brought some friends with us and they were just as impressed…… thank you Joe and staff for the great evening you hit it out of the park!!!!!!

We had such a fantastic experience here on our last night in Windsor that it became the ultimate highlight of our trip! We had absolutely no expectations and it was conveniently located just steps from our hotel. We were lucky to be seated at a table right by the window which offered us a completely unobstructed view of the gorgeous Detroit city skyline and the river. Our server Zoran was an absolute pleasure and totally made our night, thank you so much for all the laughs and the beautiful stroll through memory lane, we hope to have you again for our next visit. This will definitely be on our list of "places to visit" whenever we are in Windsor. Thank you to Alan for the great conversation and for taking the time to check in on us throughout our experience. 5 stars simply are not enough, thank you again!

I was looking for a place to take my girlfriend where we could share a unique culinary experience with panoramic views of the city of Detroit. Fourteen Restaurant delivered, and more. The food was very good for the price, the views were spectacular, the ambience was modern yet refined, with tasteful jazz softly cadenzaing in the background. Our server, Marcello, took our experience to the next level, kindly taking our picture several times throughout the evening, providing food and drink recommendations, providing interesting commentary on the development of Detroit, and never rushing us (despite us enjoying dinner and dessert over the course of about 3 hours). He also gave us the largest slice of cake I've ever seen, just for us. All in all, this was an unforgettable evening that I and my girlfriend will treasure for a long time to come!

Had a great time on Saturday night. Came here for drinks and dessert. Not too busy. Great view of the lake and Detroit. Try the chocolate cake, it was really good. Drinks were priced fairly and service was good.

We had mixed experience at this restaurant. The view is stunning, and we really loved it. Everyone was incredibly friendly. We had great cocktails at the bar before our dinner. The food was really good. We only didn't care for the risotto, but the appetizers and salmon and shrimps were amazing. Our server was very friendly but unfortunately not very knowledgeable. She didn't know what food on the menu was gluten free. Even after we told her that one of our friends needs gluten free food, the alternative wasn't offered for her when the bread was brought to our table. She took away the basket with bread after we inquired about gluten free option for our friend, without asking us, even though the rest of the group was not gluten free. She didn't know how to open wine bottles. Complimentary birthday dessert was not offered to our friend whose birthday we were celebrating. I think a little more training would make a lot of difference since we really liked the restaurant and how welcoming and friendly everyone was.

We had a wonderful dinner, served by Marcello. He was attentive, respectful and very friendly. The plat du jour was creative and delicious, and my husband's steak frites was perfect. Thank you for the excellent dining experience.

First time going to this restaurant the food was amazing and the waiter was even more amazing. Marcello he is the best. Such a fun night. They even took photos for us. He made our night so special. Thank you Marcello. 😊

The view was gorgeous, but the place feels a little old and outdated. The waiter was very attentive but we did feel a little rushed. Overall whilst the size of our food portions were massive, it needed a little more refinement to be considered as fine dining. We did like it, but some smaller extra touches would make this place amazing.

A very pleasant experience on my last night in Windsor. Easy to make a reservation on OpenTable. I was greeted warmly upon arrival to this 14th floor restaurant, at the top of a financial district building right on the riverside promenade and a block from the river. They have a daily special/prix fixe menu Canadian 35.00(three-course) in addition to the regular menu. I ordered from the regular menu and had a delicious chicken entree with flavorful seasoning and sauces. T

Top floor of an office building downtown, with great views of the Detroit skyline. We had the charcuterie board to start that had a delicious selection of local cheeses and meats. Plenty of bread! The mushroom pasta and beef tenderloin were both delicious and tender mains. Service was exemplary! We’ll be back when we get a chance and highly recommend.

Love the view love the food loved our waiter Tonight also . Thank you Marcelo for your excellent service! The chef here is great . We enjoyed the the lobster gnudi ( soooo good). The char on the leaks with the pop of the tomatoes in the creamy sauce along with the lobster made all the flavours pop and was balanced so nicely . the scallops and sausage casarecce was great. The beef tips was also a fav for us. Salty savoury and meaty :) . We also tried the crab cakes this time as the scallop starter was MIA sadly . They were good, but better when eaten with the accompanied salad and sauce. Looking forward to another visit. Compliments to the chef and the service .

We went only for drinks at the bar after dinning in somewhere else. They have one of the SEXIEST bars I've ever seen!! The atmosphere is amazing and the night time views of Detroit are breathtaking. The live music also compliments the vibe. I haven't tried the food but am looking forward to it.

The view and the restaurant itself was really nice. The server could use a bit more training but she was very nice. Food tasted good, but presentation could've been a lot better. I ordered the Steak Frites and everything was just kind of plopped onto the plate. The Scallop Crudo we ordered was very delicious but, the presentation was ok. You walk into what looks like a very beautiful, fancy restaurant with a great view but, the food presentation didn't quite go with it. I went in thinking I was going to get a presentation like other fancy steakhouses but I got something like a bar & grill. In the end, I AM happy the food tasted good at least. Presentation and service just needs some polishing or maybe just more consistency with both? I noticed some of the good reviews with photos of the food showed decent food presentation compared to what we had =(

Similar to the keg. Better view though. The view was extremely nice infact. The food is expensive and comes in small portions. The menu is also small
