Great place to exercise and the hours are even greater. Good place to get in shape and get in better health.

Signed up yesterday 10/11/2023. The guy at the front desk had me fill up the application for a black membership. I have been a member of planet fitness before and I know they take a picture of you when you sign up. The guy wasn’t busy but he either was talking on his head phone or didn’t feel like working and I can tell from his look. I even walked passed by him and worked out and my mom with me and didn’t ask to get a picture of me. I even asked him for 2 passes for hydro massages and didn’t tell mabout the guest policy that they have to sign them up before entering. So far I have no issue. Until I came back today to workout, after I was done, My mom came over to pick me up and asked me to use the bathroom. LYRIC wouldn’t let her in TO USE THE BATHROOM saying that she has to sign up first. I explained to her that she is in a rush and if she could do the sign up process after she uses the bathroom. She literally said NO, she has to sign up first. Even STEPHANIE the MANAGER came over backing up her employees, saying that I walked passed the guy without taking a picture. I mean ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!??? I signed up. I worked out with my mom And even got two hydro massages He DIDN’T WANT TO WORK. I can tell when someone doesn’t want to work. All this because they wouldn’t let my mom to use the bathroom and maybe she can sign up for guest after. Had me walk out to get my license when I first walked in to get a picture of me and insisted on that and said fine But wouldn’t let my mom to use the bathroom because she is an older lady and needed to use the bathroom. Had me walked out again to get her ID, and in the end, they were so happy that they followed their policy and were amazing to ruin someone’s day. Literally they were laughing when I walked out. The worst management I’ve ever seen, starting from the girl named LYRIC and STEPHANIE the manager was even worse and racist. Blaming me that I walked passed by the guy. Hope they get their priorities straight, which is a better customer service

Stephanie was amazing. Another location was very rude and I was ready to drop my membership. Stephanie gave me a call and listened to my concerns and she gave me an excellent response she was very respectful to my situation. She is a true professional and I really appreciated her assistance.

Recently they installed brand new weight machines… Very nice, staff is friendly, machines are always clean , the entire fitness center is nearly spotless, $10 a month ...you can’t beat it..highly recommend for anyone that wants to stay in shape arobically or anarobically.

This gym is not the best tbh it is average or below average. I can stress how important it is to clean the place up. The past few months I’ve seen hundreds of new workers. Maybe it’s just me but service is bad.

Yeah im so over this location. Supposedly had a “remodel” but there could be more variety in weights and equipment. Ever since the summer program for kids started it’s a struggle being able to complete a full decent workout. For the most part the equipments are occupied and its always someone just sitting there having a plain conversation or scrolling through their phone. Im all for the kids being able to go to the gym but there should be a time frame or some sort of arrangement. The gym isnt even 24hours anymore because half of the week they close early. I only keep coming to this location because its closest to my house but its a definite chaos.

I don’t know what’s going on here. The stuff good. The location is good, but the hours is not good before it was 24 hours then they close the weekends now they shut down the 24 hour Enough is enough stop cutting hours. People need to work out.

No unwanted attention issues. There is plenty of space. No overcrowding. Little bit of eye candy. Overall a great spot to focus on your workout.

I have a black card and was asked to sign in. Unlike all the other clubs I’ve been all I had to do was scan. It’s minor but if I have to do anything different than i feel discriminated. The reason I was given is because I am a remote member. If they can see I am remote than they can run a report at the end of the night. I felt the need to voice my concern to a Manger named Drake and let’s just say that listening and talking less would have helped improve the place.

i am currently a black card member but never recieved my halo watch.also the heavy set blonde women makes me uncomfortable everytime i come and shes there and I just caught her rolling her eyes at me as i left the facility! she never greets me or thank me when i arrive or leave!

Absolutely love the new worker ( daji) she’s such a people person and very active and I see she loves her job…. I literally look forward to meeting her in the mornings when I workout 🏋️‍♀️ makes it easier to communicate with an employee. Yeahhhh she’s a great worker 👊🏾

Crunch has more up-to-date equipment and more space than any other gym that I've been a part of, and I've been working out for over thirty years. The staff is very helpful and responsive to your needs.

It's very clean. The staff are nice and attentive. Especially the short one with black and red hair. If you go to visit please don't forget about the massage therapy chair....... You'll thank me for it

The facility is very well-maintained, as well as very clean. The staff is very courteous, and willing to go out of their way to make sure the equipment is sanitized and very clean. I had to experience of meeting and talking with one of their employees working there by the name of.Daji she was very kind and made sure my equipment and machines was very clean and sanitized before I used it. she was very kind and soft-spoken with very good people skills when it came to communicating with me. she had a bright well coming smile with the personality to match.

No trainer available. Small area for tanning and hydro beds. Staff are great with customer service. Just wish I didn't join no spa no pools. Need to find a different gym that has all these amenities.💯

Clean gym, needs more free weights and bench presses. Come early morning because afternoons it is busy with teenagers from dearborn and detroit leaving weight all over the place and walking around with flip flops. Wish there were more water fountains too. It would be nice if the teenagers get certain hours to work out.

Very unreliable place. Never opens on time. On New Year's eve day it supposed to be open by 5 am. Waited till 5:35 am no one showed up to open the facility. It happens often. Frustrating. The manager called and explained the situation and I appreciate his efforts. Manager Is very good and pays attention to peoples needs. Appreciate that very much. Thank you.

I always have a great workout in the evenings or late nights. The gym is clean and the gym is never too hot. And the massage chairs are everything after great workout.

I like this gym but sometimes too many young kids running around. Some of the machines (cables) need to be replaced. The dumbells only go up to 60 pounds. The mens locker room sinks dont work and are always out of soap and napkins.

The place seemed kinda dirty musty they did have a decent floor plan and alot of equipment just needs a good cleaning

Clean , friendly staff , the equipment is a little confusing but i got used to it . there was someone sleep in the 30 minute power room i thought they where praying , but they where snoring lol

7/8/23 Two peoples items were stolen… right out of their bags and not even in the locker room… on the main floor… needs cameras asap… this gym is no longer safe… something must have changed… they are borderline Detroit. So that must be the correlation. Keep your eyes on your bags. And If you place it in locker room please use a lock. Be vigilant! ADD CAMERAS!

I go there almost everyday to workout and the employees are nice and helpful. I did have an incident there but it was all worked out I really wanted to thank one of the employees that works there because he helped me stay calm. I don’t remember his name and I haven’t seen him lately hopefully he still works there and gets appreciated because he helped me, and I wanted to thank him! Overall the place is pretty clean and has a good environment to workout!

You get to meet nice people and everyone Is nice. Yes the equipment u might want might be tooken but all you have to do is ask them how are they still using it.

I can really respect and appreciate the customer service I receive often from employees Josh and Dajuan they are very impressionable young men which is rare to find these days. Customer service as a whole in todays time is very generic and scripted almost robotic when it comes to be treated like a human being from staffs. Most people in customer service environment are really not passionate they don’t care about people only care about policies. Dajuan and Josh Greet me soon as I come in every single time, they make themselves known . While their working they find time to small talk and they make it personal they make you feel like they actually know you. Those guys I look for and look forward to seeing when I come in because when you come to a place 4/5 days a week you definitely want to be treated well, greeted well and hang around good spirited people that know you. I definitely told these guys that I appreciate them being friendly you can’t and approachable you can’t teach that anymore.

i came for a business visit to detroit for 3 days and i went there so the employee's at that branch was so professional so welcoming and so friendly i wish them the best 👌

Very nice staff. Assisted me and my guest with my visitor pass. All the machines we use we’re available and working. No stalkers during our work out. It was a real satisfying hour and half.

As a guessed I should have been able to trying out all the amenities that my black card Friend does to see if I would like to join also. But seeing how snotty rude the staff was , I think I will stay at my gym ,my friend likes my gym also.

I think planet fitness is one of those gyms made for people who make new year resolutions to stay healthy but never really go to the gym. It has weird rules. It's cheap and the only reason I have this membership is because my la fitness club opens late on weekends

Very nice facility. My only concern was there were no fans in the front of the building. It's nothing major at all. Staff was very helpful.

This is the worst location ever when it comes to cleaning and customer service. I have the blackcard membership and I been to almost every location in metro Detroit and this is the worst location ever. Bathroom is always dirty. Staff are so rude. I was there yesterday saturday night around 10 pm and the front desk woman has a rude attitude. She didn’t allow my guest to be in without downloading the planet fitness app on my phone. He always come to this gym with me as a guest and never had this issue before. I am so disappointed with the customer service.

Very rude, never been to this location before. I wasn’t aware they didn’t have lay down tanning beds and I told them I wanted a lay down after I went to the room seeing it was a stand up and they told me they don’t have them very rudely and laughing I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication there or something but I was just simply telling them i never been here before so I wasn’t aware, I just left after that, I felt very disrespected & that’s not how you treat members.

It's a nice gym when it isn't packed how ever anyone with a nice car shouldn't work out here unless your getting dropped off. A towing company that is in cahoots with the gym stole my car from the parking lot for no reason at all. First they gave me the wrong info on were my car was then tried to act like they didn't have it also charged me almost 700.00 to get my car back the next morning not even 24 hours they had my car they gave me a hard time and caught additudes when I showed up to get my car and it took them 3 hours to bring my car out from being surrounded by 20 crashed vehicles. Smh and they asked secretary of state for a abandoned vehicle title all in one day. I was only in the building for 35 minutes when they stole it no one said anything Smh the most expensive depressing workout of my life 😪 dnt recommend the headache

The place is so noisy.... People scream on their phones while they working out, or speaking too loud and none of the staff will say anything about it.... You can't find a peace in this place, very disturbing.

No judgment zone fitness with a lot of machines that are organized and always sanitized and clean!

This gym is amazing and allows me to keep a good overall routine! The gym often has little to no people in it which allows me to use whatever equipment I need. Not to mention the amount of equipment available.

Anyway I'll come back to check this place out again. They had everything I was looking for. Weights, running, stretching area. Nice small lockers to put in your coat. I like this gym but this gym has a "hall monitor" that tells you where you can place your phone but doesn't tell you to not use the 30 minute section for just one single exercise. But please do not start annoying people that way :-). I just work around them... We're all adults. If someone steps on my $1000 phone, it's my problem, not yours

I had a great work out here and the atmosphere was great a lot of equipment to play around with and exercising was okay A VERY friendly environment I would go back again and tell some friends to come join me here LOVED IT ..

Just wanna note that the gym was very dirty this morning there was trash all over the massage chair room I was there as a guest of a black card member I also notice a few staff just standing there at the desk also there was a huge trash bag sitting out side near the entrance which is a hazard for people walking I normally go in the afternoon which I can say definitely cleaner then what I saw this morning I guess that’s the best time to go. Not to mention the staff is much nicer in the afternoon

The staff are amazing especially Stephanie best manager ever always welcoming with a smile on her face, never had a problem with this gym it’s always clean with a good environment of people

The kids are terrible meaning all. They stink and disrespectful. I’ve been in this room since it was made and I’ve been happy, again the new things are awesome but the kids is all they start coming in new years..
