I have been getting tattooed by James Maxwell for over 8 years now and have over 15 tattoos done by him. Every interaction that i have had with James has been top notch. He is very professional, knowledgeable and in my opinion, one of the best tattooers out there. Driving an hour to get tattooed by him at Electric Park is completely worth it. Its a great shop right next to Eastern Market. I can enthusiastically recommend James 5/5 stars. Go see him, you wont regret it!

I have two pieces done by Kyle Hath. He's an amazing artist, dedicates time to make sure you're getting what you want. And the dude genuinely loves what he does. I recommend him to anyone looking for Am Trad, and will be going to him for all future Am Trad tats. The location itself is a nice hole-in-the-wall shop. Sort of away from the hustle and bustle of Eastern Market. Super clean, super homey. Great new business started by Joe Destefano, another great tattooer.

Clean and professional. I went here for my second tattoo and had an awesome experience. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The shop is tidy and visually appealing. All staff members were following COVID-19 guidelines to a tee. My tattoo is perfect. Line work is supreme. Shading is on point. Thanks Josh! I’ll definitely be back for my 3rd.

Amazing little tattoo shop in the heart of Eastern Market. Got an appointment within 24 hrs of tattoo request. Mary was really awesome, great work done quickly and very friendly. Will be coming back here for many tattoos.

I called at 11:01 am as the business states it opens at 11:00 am. I spoke with someone over the phone named Mary. She aske to send a pic of my tattoo as I only wanted a rise I already have colored in and outlined. She texted back and was very dismissive saying "we don't have anybody that has time to do that today. Thanks for reaching out". Which was a bit off-putting to me as there is a sign on the door saying they take walk ins. So if I am basically the first call they have gotten for the day and they take walk ins how would every single already be booked up. How are they taking walk ins then. Mary did not even attempt to schedule me for another day. When I asked to speak to a manager she said none was available. I would assume the business owners are in business to attract business. When I called her back Mary was dismissive and laughed at my concerns. I did not receive good customer service. I am very disappointed

I've gotten a couple pieces from Josh. He's a great artist. Shop has a great vibe, seems to have a great customer base, is friendly and very clean.

I had a great experience with Mary, my first time at Electric park. From start to finish she was professional, easy to work with and I love the work she did. The placement & size is perfect. The environment is very clean & comfortable and I appreciated the good playlist. I would strongly recommend the location & all of its artists to anyone. Looking forward to coming back!

My experience with Andrew: - Communication: is responsive and shares all the important details along the way. Addressing all of my questions and concerns. -Punctual: I had clear expectations that it would be months to get in with him, and it was worth the wait every time. He has been on time for every appointment scheduled and he has never made me wait around. -Phenomenal art: not only is his work creative, and beautiful, but he shares the work with enough detail and time for you to decide that you really feel great about making it a permanent part of your body. He has been kind about hearing my feedback, while properly guiding me on how the art would look best. He can make a half baked idea turn into an awesome piece of artwork. -Kind and respectful: never has pressured me or made me feel bad for wanting slight changes. There are a lot of creeps out there and he clearly is not one of them. I've always felt properly covered during the sessions. Also, I'm not much of a talker but it has always been comfortable for 4+ hour sessions; He's very nice. -Bonus: Electric Park doesn't have that macho angry tattooist vibe. I would recommend this business based on my experiences with Andrew.
