Just got home from having my birthday, the staff made me a walking panic attack feel nothing but joy, comfort, and safety. I honestly didn't want to leave! They even surprised us by calling me on stage and having everyone say happy birthday to me! I'm upset we didn't take pictures of it but the surprise and support were worth it! Thank you Gigi's for making my first time so memorable !!!

First time here and the atmosphere is incredible. I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed due to Howard the doorman. He is so incredibly nice and welcoming! Will definitely be back! I’m having such a blast!

Been coming here for the last 15 years. I love the changes that have been made over the years especially the recent changes. The VIP section upstairs is really cute. A really great thing is now you can use a debit card to pay for stuff and don't have to have a wad of cash on you to pay for everything.

Gigi's has always been my go to place to hang out with friends for over 10+ years. I've seen this place change so much. I love all the new things they're adding to it. The VIP section is very nice, a good use of space and made it feel classy. I love the new coat of paint and the color scheme. This is a really fun bar to bring your friends to.

I love this bar. Even though it has been years since I've been there, it was always my favorite place to go. Mondays and Fridays were always the most fun. For me anyway! Go have a good time whether you are gay or an ally! Keep an open mind and just enjoy yourself, the entertainment and the inclusiveness!

I'd love to give Gigi's a 5; however I had the craziest experience last night. I was enjoying myself and I was enjoying the performances but when it was time to go my coat was gone and my car keys were inside of my coat. I'm not sure who the GM was but he said I was drunk and I didn't appreciate that! I was not drunk! My coat had been stolen and my car keys! I left the bar because he was being extra rude and it was closing time and I could see my car still parked outside so I was going to call a locksmith 🤣 the person who took my coat actually left the bar and started my car!!! I went outside and my car was running! ( It was parked on the side street) I can't blame the bar for what happened but I didn't like the fact that the GM was so rude to me considering my situation! If it was him he wouldn't have appreciated the treatment! I will say over all I had a blast and I'm not sure if they are used to stuff just happening like that, but please be empathetic to your customers in the future! I'm glad my car wasn't damaged I'm still coatless but I do have my car! To the GM customer service is not your thing! Just get someone else to do it! You were rude and insensitive to what happened to me! I will be back, but that's not cool at all!

Brought friends from out of town and they had a blast and they absolutely loved the doorman on Friday and they were stunned by the performers but just fell in love with the guy at the door and can’t wait to go back just to see him

1gay bar I've ever been to. Loved it so much, I went back the next night and I live 1 hour and 20 minutes away. I wasn't sure what to expect, I was actually a bit scared. But it was lots of fun. The 2nd night I had a guy I met on Grindr meet me there. Well if u have been there you will have seen the 1 person per stall signs! Well I broke the rules 😜 I definitely look forward to going back again...

One of Detroits favorite night clubs! At this point in time 2-2021, there is limited capacity seating, opened from 5-10pm. There is no dancing, or setting at the bar. All customers must be seated with party they arrived with, and all drinks must be ordered when seated, and retrieved by the waiter. Social distancing is being enforced at this time. It is very clean, and a safe environment, with lighted parking lot. Temperature check at the door upon arrival.

Super fun, there's two levels, lower level is the drag show and the upper level is the dance floor. Both are super fun. 10$ for both and 5$ for one of them.

The guy at the door was great made us feel welcome we went both fri and sat night the Cabrera room was so fun ty for a great time we will be back

The doorman is the reason I took some friends from out of town after reading reviews about Howard and he was everything and more so welcoming and told us everything we needed to know about the bar and convinced us to come for Halloween and we are so glad if for no other reason the staff and entertainment is great but it is worth it just to meet Howard at the door he is so much fun you'll see if you go....

Went here with friends from out of town we loved the staff and entertainment especially the door man Harold he alone is a good reason for going back he was funny very welcoming a great host and he was absolutely right about the pizza it really is the best no wonder he’s the best doorman in detroit go see him

I had a blast when I went there for the drag show. Met some really cool people and enjoyed my night. Love this place and will def be back!!

Dancers are fun. FYF is good, but there’s no way to know how many people go until once you arrive. For me at least it’s quite the distance. With covid, and just general uncomfortably, occasionally I just go and turn around and go home or something else to do. I’m not trying to be shoulder to shoulder in a small place for the entire show and shuffle back and forth so people can walk around me. I’m there for a good show not “excuse me” “excuse me”. Doorman can be snippy and blatantly disrespectful at times (the man with glasses). I legit give around $30-$50 in ones to the dancers, sorry I forgot to tip you old man. But to shame me for not tipping you in front of my friends? Darling, you’ve crossed the line. DJ is ok. I’d probably give it 2 stars but I don’t care to be roasted by a bunch of gays. Just trying to be informative of what to prepare yourself for.. it’s really compelling to never return.

Came in over the weekend for a surprise treat. Each of the performers were “lit” and made this a very enjoyable evening for us. A very special shout-out to our hostess, Nikki Stevens (a beautiful entertainer and comic gem) who made us feel truly welcome. Though it was my 1st time here, I’m quite sure it won’t be my last.

My favorite place to go on the weekend. The best part is actually walking in and getting to talk to Howard at the door. He always has trivia ready to go and is always so welcoming. Great drinks and food with a bar upstairs and downstairs.

The staff and patrons were all so nice and courteous. The food was not too great, but the drinks were super. The show was awesome!!!. The host was toooo funny.. had the time of our lives.. we came from out of town for the pageant. And had a ball.

Love this place! Friendly staff and the performers are amazing. Yes the building is older and the location sucks. But it is 100% worth the experience.

I haven't been in years and I should've left it like that.. The doorman was talking to the couple ahead of me for a few minutes before he took my money. It took almost 10 minutes to get a drink and the club wasn't crowded. Also the shots servers didn't stop at our table to ask if we wanted one. And I was there for a couple of hours.. POOR SERVICE ALL NIGHT!!! Do better Gigi's!!!

We enjoyed the vibe and the shows at Gigis. Thank you Howard for the hospitality and the fun! Go to Gigi’s for a good time - sometimes a show in the downstairs cabaret space and upstairs. Great drinks.

BEST BAR IN DETROIT….. DEFINITELY THE MOST FUN OF ALL GREAT ATMOSPHERE FOOD AND DRINKS ARE TOP NOTCH AS WELL AS THE STAFF AND ENTERTAINMENT

Howard is an amazing person to greet you and meet you at the door. Gigi’s is a decent LGBTQ club, and I can see the appeal on a weekend to spend the evening. Drinks especially their specials are good. Crowd that goes there however is a little clicky and can be difficult to try to meet someone and be friendly towards.

My absolute favorite place in the whole world. Making this place a weekly event. Howard the doorman- i love you.

Fun place great people and excellent drinks. They have some beautiful queens here. The dance floor on the weekends (pre-covid) was a blast.

The drinks sucked they were in plastic cups really and not even solo cups it was in a glorified dicsy cup and was five dollars. And when the bar tenders changed the bill for a drink was cheeper and happy hour was over. Go figure

Gigi's was a gas strolled in with friends from out of town Saturday over the holiday weekend and the experience was great from the very beginning we were greeted by the coolest door guy he was happy polite and funny had us ALL laughing from the get go the staff was great the performers were fantastic the door guy told us they had the best bar pizza ever and he was right didn't have to wait for drinks and on the way out the guy at the door told us a quick joke told us to get home safe and he had us laughing on the way out so we left the same way we arrived laughing....we all had a great time and I will definitely be going back and taking friends along...highly recommend this place
