Dog park

👍 The most social dog park around, we come here because we know there are usually dogs here. Tables to meet people and there are regulars who show up at the same time every day. Little dogs have a small side park, big dogs and brave little dogs have run of the bigger astroturf park where lots of fun... People often mention dogs, park, small,

The most social dog park around, we come here because we know there are usually dogs here. Tables to meet people and there are regulars who show up at the same time every day. Little dogs have a small side park, big dogs and brave little dogs have run of the bigger astroturf park where lots of fun running around happens. Also a kiddie pool and some agility equipment. No food allowed, be careful bringing young children as the dogs can get rowdy, and the park is for dogs.

A wonderful park to bring your little bork buddy. Woofers run rampant through this pupper-park on a busy day. The grass is artificially turfed giving your doggo a comfortable paw-treading experience. There's two sections for the smaller pups and another for the larger doggies. Poop bins, plastic pick-up grabbers, and fences make this park a must for a furry friend.

I wish there were more rules enforced to provide a safer experience. I’ve seen small dog owners getting frustrated that larger dogs are trying to play, when there is a whole side dedicated for the little ones. People picking up their small dog and getting frustrated that other dogs are jumping and trying to investigate. Aggression with uncut males in the park. Introductions on leash. Toy aggression and resource guarding with all the toys around. I’ve seen better run parks with less of these types of incidents happening because they had guidelines that are followed, and had a better understanding of K9 behavior and socialization. Feels like a free for all with not much consideration for all the dogs well being.

A beautiful park with artificial turf, a water station for the dogs, separate large and small dog areas, and dog bags provided. There are some built-in play obstacles for the dogs, as well as picnic tables for the humans. The double-locking gate is helpful as well, and limited parking is available. Convenient location along the Cass Corridor makes getting here a breeze as well.

My dog made a friend. He is usually nervous when he goes in. It was the same breed as him. Most of the people in the dog park are friendly and its a nice atmosphere for dogs.

What a great space for furry family members! The dogs all seemed like they were enjoying themselves. all situated on AstroTurf with little tubes for them to run through. Separate little areas for those that want a quieter, more relaxed area. Every detail has been thought out. Great little book box outside with a Groucho Marx quote. Trés posh with the Shinola clock in the front. You know you're not in Kansas Toto! Situated in the beautiful Cass corridor in Midtown. So glad the city made this space!

Excellent park. Really well done so it can be enjoyed all year round (they do shut off the water for the cold months so pipes don't freeze). There's always parking, a section for smaller dogs, a big section for larger dogs and picnic tables for me to sit and eat at. :) It's fake grass which makes it easy to clean up after your pet and if they tinkle, you're not stepping into puddles. There's no way the pups can dig which eliminates mud baths like you have at other dog parks. I love the double entrance at the front so your dog can't run past you and escape without it's leash on. There's even a little library if you want to read a book.

Nice little mid city park. My dingo is accustomed to the authentic park experience so he wasn't too thrilled however he did meet q pretty cute friend . #RoscoePCotraneParkSecurity

Love this dog park but I really want to stress that if you have a small dog use the small dog side to the right of the entrance because the bars are closer together so little ones can't squeeze through, the bars in the bigger dog side park are easy for little ones to run through and could create a dangerous situation.

Great, but somewhat small dog park. The artificial turf is great for keeping your dog mud and dirt free. I've had many fun times here.

My dog loved it. Was her first time going wasn’t a lot of traffic maybe because it’s the winter season but she did enjoy it ! It’s a bit on the smaller size but there are two separate sides for big dogs and small dogs.

My favorite dog park! Tons of folks hang out and bring their dogs to chill and roam around. There's a spot just for small dogs, and a bigger area for the bigger dogs. There's clean up bags and trash cans and toys for everyone. There are benches to sit and chill and the people are super friendly. Even the restaurants nearby are dog friendly. Go and take your fur baby!

Gets very crowded at times due to it's very small size. Nice park none the less.

People with small dogs don’t even use the smaller dog section and then expect bigger dogs to have to be super careful around them, that they can’t even play or run around freely. Small park not good for big dogs.

This is really a friendly dog park (and the humans were pretty well behaved as well). The area is clean, well stocked with poop bags, water is available, a few fun obstacles for the puppies and there is seating for the human-folk too! Overall a pleasant, relaxed, fun little park.

It's not really possible for this park to be clean, since it's so small, has fake grass, and it's so busy. We usually clean up poop from several other dogs when we go. The water fountains and hose are very nice. Be careful though because people like to get food and come in with no dogs and bring kids in too... It's kinda sloppy in such a crowded space.

Take your dog to any dog park with caution, as there can be aggressive dogs that can attack. The humans tend to not understand their dogs, ignore their dogs or are arrogant themselves. This is a small park with artificial turf. It gets crowded. The occassional beggar comes around. Nothing special. Lacks parking.
