Never again! I was recommended here and the ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all with trying to assist me with signing up. Very rude and unprofessional. Talking to me in between bites of food! I tried paying for my membership with Apple Pay and one lady stated she needed to see all the numbers on the card which I believed to be a weird request. I’ve never had to show my full card to any other business while using Apple Pay. When I asked for assistance, she continued chewing her food and said she couldn’t help me and she had other customers who could do it on their own. I grabbed my belongings and told them to have a great day.

Great community center for Detroit residents. I was serviced by a very pleasant woman today when I signed up for membership. She was patient, pleasant, and very helpful. I'm excited about all the programs and classes offered throughout the week. I highly recommend for any Detroit resident. When you get the "Universal Membership", you can visit any recreation center in the city. I'm loving the open swim classes and look forward to more.

I was looking for a place for my 11 year old son to swim 🏊‍♂️ I called n it’s open swim 4-5 I brung him like late like 5:30 n mentioned to the instructor I was unaware of the time but I truly need him to swim even it’s for 10min I he hooked him up n they did like a open swim for 15 min on the other side of the pool was thoroughly impressed have been taking him ever since have been comfortable enough to leave him go home do some wrk n come back at about 5:20 n pick him up I do banquets for a living so I’m not easily impressed but they have put a smile on his n my face for $5 fee without the high overhead price n there’s other kids he can have fun with 😊

I take swim lessons at ABC and the instructors are amazing. I'm only 2 weeks in and I feel so confident in the water. I've also utilized their ice rink, outdoor track, and baseball diamond. They have so many great resources and activities, and the best part is that they're in my neighborhood. It's very easy to register for their classes online. Would absolutely recommend.

I was told my kids can only be in the center from 4pm to 8pm .... Even if I am with them... I thought this was a center for youth also, but if they can only be there up to 4hrs a day ,even with me (a parent) then this is an adult center. I literally got kicked out.... My kids are in the boxing team and everything.... Doesn't matter.... No kids.. until 4pm to 8pm....

The showers are atrocious. Bugs everywhere in the womens locker room. Life guards are stuck up and terrible!! The gym is always crowded but no surprise, it's a gym. The boxing room state is filthy. So many bugs... Overall, the place is unkempt, filthy etc... I'd give it 0 stars & never come back here again.

Not a basketball friendly gym. The membership expense's are cheap but come with too many rules. Makes it impossible to get a solid workout or utilize all the facilities in your possession. If you are looking for a place to casually work out for fun you might have a better chance. Mainly for some of the older folks 60+ but anyone under 25 will not enjoy the experience.

My daughter is attending a 6 week Volleyball camp here. The coaches are so professional, knowledgeable and well organized! The price is so reasonable! The facility is nice too! They offer other activities as well! Zumba, swimming, boxing, and other classes!

Haven't had the pleasure of going inside as of yet for the last two seasons. It appears they've maintained the facility very good, not certain if the pool with reopen or if they'll start the boxing/ wrestling again. Playscape very durable. Only one shed which is medium in size. Portable potties are at the beginning of the field. Wonderful skate park and basketball rims. Plenty open field. Soccer goals are set throughout the field. Large track for walking. It appears dogs are allowed as I haven't seen any signs otherwise... however PLEASE clean up the poop, children play here

If you want to learn the Hustle Dance (line dance), come on Thursday at 11 AM. The class is fun. The participants are good people, just having fun. The class consists of mostly seniors.

You can’t even have a $7 dollar ball at this park. Some little thief and their parent stole my big pink ball from the park yesterday afternoon (July 12, 2023). You should be ashamed of yourself raising a thief to steal from other children at community center/park/gravesite. Also watch your back, vehicle, and belongings at this park because no matter how nice it is it’s still the ghetto.

👍👍 The Riverwalk was a great experience for our entire group. There’s free parking and the area is well-kept. We also noticed security/police presence and felt safe the entire time. The water is beautiful! We were able to get a great view of Canada and we saw several ducks up close and personal. It was...
