We just moved to this area a few months ago and started emergency fostering a puppy this weekend. We needed supplies quickly and the pickup experience was fast and convenient for us, and our cashier Lindsey got us signed up for the Pals Rewards and explained about adding birthday/gotcha day for extra treats. Really had a great time shopping at Petco!

Well I was there trying to get some medication for my dog's ear and I didn't see it and they was good and helping me and also was trying to get a comfort little bed help me gratefully nice customer service so far

I got a rescue dog from the shelter about a month ago and petco has everything I need. The staff is knowledgeable about the food, treats, beds, leashes etc. I haven't been disappointed so far. Plus they let you bring your pet in the store with you; how cool is that!

Great store great workers and nothing's is perfect. I ask about product I bought there before they could not tell why they don't care it. But good workers

The people who work there are nice , friendly and quite helpful !! They always chit chat with me for a second while I get my crickets to feed my 2 Gecko lizards , Flo and Eddie .

RJ is the best groomer around! He has been the only groomer for my little Tank (Yorkie) for over two years now (we started with RJ at the Livonia location). We live 30 minutes away but having a groomer as amazing as RJ is priceless and worth the drive!

I used to take my Reese to pet smart for grooming, after the pandemic, they were booked for 3mo, I called Petco. And I have been more satisfied & the price is less. Thank you Sheena for your great service. Bye PetSmart, hello Petco

It was a friendly atmosphere. My baby was able to walk around and explore the store, but the most important thing was the service of the cashier she was so nice and friendly she even acknowledge my baby..(puppy)

They were out of what I really needed but Had my senior dog food. There are quite a few empty shelves but they were restocking so I probably just came at a bad time. I would recommend calling to make sure your fur babies food is there first before making the trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous.

Was told I would get my money back on cbd oil if it did not work and they gave me a gift card and I had paid cash for the product. Was not happy

My visit was to purchase wet pate cat food by Sheba or Iams . Online website had listed these available in store but neither was available for purchase. Staff was nice but hopefully I can get accurate online information before going there and finding out there is none.

The Staff is Top Notch at this location with customer service. They went above and beyond to help me. Definitely one of my favorite locations.

Didn't have the food for my dog and that's ok. However, the cashier was sorting out crickets while checking me out. Ummm can we do that later,?

The staff are really nice and friendly but this Petco is currently understaffed. Unfortunately the store is a bit chaotic as a result of being understaffed and pallets of supplies are stacked in the middle of the floor. Clearance items are also not separated from regular items so sometimes you'll randomly grab a food and it expires within the next week. I obviously don't blame the staff for this I just wanted to be sure people knew about the current situation. The staff were lovely though!

Unexpected superior customer service. Candice absolutely went above and beyond to explain some details on new products that I had no prior knowledge of. Very old school and highly professional. I left with new cat furniture (relatively simple stuff, but a BIG hit at home) and some new food. I am happy. The cats are happy. Taking all of our business to this Petco. Many thanks!!

Sorta Knowledgable, all my fish died when following their direction.. prices are good for certain fish plus they have ghost shrimp and live plants(pricey tho). High prices for Tiger barbs, snails, and mollies

Had a great experience at this location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. All the employees asked if I needed any assistance. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the specific dog food I needed, but the rest of the experience was great. I'll be back to get a beta fish! The glow ones are so cool!

I am generally a fan of this Petco. I buy the bulk litter and scoop it myself. I've been doing this for awhile. The scoop has had a crack in it for months. It gave out completely since last time I was there because now the scoop is barely held together by packaging tape. It's not working. In fact, I cut myself on jagged plastic today and was bleeding when I left. Please get a new scoop. Try to find a metal one.

The staff is friendly & professional. They knew how to make my puppy feel at ease. I switched locations so that my puppy could get his grooming done by the staff at this location. I highly recommend their grooming services.

Every time I go to the Petco on 8 Mile and Woodward I get fast service they tell me what I need and don't need so I don't have to waste my money and they also walk me through the proper amounts to use and not over use

Although the employees are very helpful, the variety is very is poor. And after I signed up for vital care, I have yet to receive my rewards.

I had an excellent experience at Petco, as I was hurried and remembered that I needed a calming collar for one of my cats -- and happened to see the store was on the premises where I'd stop to visit a nearby ATM. The associate was friendly, kind and caring - exactly the qualities one wants in someone who is employed at store that specializes in pet care. "Wonderful" sums up my opinion in one word!

Customer service is great and always helpful. I like to order online and pickup in the store for even better pricing. This store is always clean and organized.

This is our local petco. We pick up most of our dog supplies here. It seems to have a better than avarage selectionthan prior petcos ive used. From bowls and beds to food and treats. Also, the amazing RJ grooms our little guy and does a very good job. It's great to watch the groomers transform the dogs as they sit and chat with them.

While any other time I’ve had a pleasant experience - this particular time in didn’t. I needed to get 1 bag of cat food, got there at 6:50PM and the woman standing at the door talking to her friend told me they were closed. They close at 7PM. I won’t argue with you - have a nice day, but I won’t be back to this one unfortunately.

Just shut it down and move away and take the ridiculous hrs, no stock, and bad customer service with you. The only reason they get 1 star from me is to be able to post. Other than that you get NO stars.

The staff is great but the store hours are horrible! Nothing is ever in stock! This is the worst location I’ve been to and it’s the closest one to me so if I want to shop there I have to go far out of my way. I don’t even know why the opened a store that is almost never open! Waste of space!

I was told to bring puppy in for shots. I told them the age of the puppy and was given appt. Upon registering, I was told my pup is too young return in two weeks. They could have stated that on the phone. Before I took my furbaby outdoors in the cold. He was wrapped tight, but still. Not good!
