Really nice Museum, with plenty to do and see! But it's a real shame that even though some of the direction signs have English translations, none of the descriptive signs for the various exhibits have an English translation, it's a shame that this part of Germany isn't that tourist friendly....so I dropped a star

Beautiful place, amazing history. Take a sandwich and stroll up the mountain trail to a nice bench. This is a seasonal business, so be sure to check the website or call before you go. A fantastic play area for kids out back of the historical area keeps everyone happy, and some nice food options on the site offer a quiet sit-down moment.

Beautiful! Very nice to be and to walk freely inside so many preserved farm houses. Our almost 3 year old had so much fun exploring and getting right up close to some farm animals. Definitely a great day trip for a family.

Very interesting. Animal feeding (for children) is great. Nice outdoor spaces and plenty to discover about local history. Well suited for families.

A very interesting open air museum with old houses, most of them transferred from other places all around. It has a veey nice conference room and a restaurant with swabian food.

Very interesting and a great place to spend a day outdoors - fun and educational. One star minus because the local produce offered was quite limited, and the restaurant offered poor quality food at very high prices.

Unique in it's way, great for kids and grown-up s alike. About the good old days...

Went for the said festival. Entry was supposed to be free as stated but we were charged 7 euros each. Didn't feel like there was many extra activities offered. Not enough tables and chairs for the huge crowd.

Interesting history of the area. The project to move the buildings is incredible. We tasted some lentil salad made with historical types of lentils. Yummy!

Had a great time today learning about early German farming communities.Was a little disappointed in the snack bar and store,but very impressed with all the buildings that were saved.

Let the children feed the sheep with the fallen apples. They both love it!

Nice place to stay to relax and travel back in history... On special event days chance to get nice bakery products made in the historic oven. Be early to avoid waiting time at the entrance

Breathtaking place for nature lovers! Very beautiful landscape! At the moment of my visit, kids celebrate birthday, others learn how to work on farm, people walking, resting, drinking coffee, had a picknic. So many activities in one place! All houses that are part of museum are very interesting and informing!

Great work with the old father farmhouse renovations. Love it 👍
