Unfortunately, I agree with the penultimate review, to which I have to add today an unpleasant experience with the telephone operator at the practice. The lady went through her monologue in a very unprofessional manner, probably out of concern that she wouldn't be able to get off work on time. As a patient you had no chance to say a single word, it was really unbelievable. And unfortunately she was just as snippy. After her monologue of 5 minutes, in which she simply barked, I was able to clarify my concerns in 30 seconds. At the insistence of myself. Perhaps as advice to the telephone operator: listen ACTIVELY, which also includes letting people talk. That would also be an act of politeness. This means you also conserve your own resources. It's sad that a practice employs such a person on the telephone and this will probably never reach the doctors in the practice and therefore have no further consequences for the lady. Bad picture for practice.

Had to go there for a preliminary examination in May. Very friendly staff, competent information. No waiting time for an appointment. The attending doctor was also friendly and competent. The professor also briefly examined the patient with appropriate, understandable explanations regarding an operation. The entire process was very well organized. An operation with inpatient admission will be scheduled there soon. Currently in hospital in June for cataract surgery and retina surgery with the insertion of a new lens. Everything went very well. Very good care and controls. Friendly and stress-free staff. Modern rooms. Other services very good. Coffee, cake, water, TV and WiFi free. We recommend. 👍

Meine Frau und ich sind beide Patienten der Dardenne. Meine Frau hatte heute einen Termin zur Kontrolle. Sie bekommt Augentropfen zur Erweiterung der Pupille. Nach der Untersuchung sieht man bekanntlich sehr schlecht, deswegen war ich auch dabei. Nur leider wurde ich erst gar nicht reingelassen wegen der Corona Vorschrift. Man sagte mir sehr unfreundlich, dass ich die Klinik verlassen und draußen vor der Türe warten sollte.(Frechheit) Ich bin gehbehindert, keine Möglichkeit sich draußen zu setzen und das im Regen. Diese 2 "Damen" sind absolut fehl am Platz. Wenn man es drauf hat, hätte man auch sagen können, nehmen sie bitte unten in der Halle Platz. Aber soweit geht die Freundlichkeit nicht. Ich bin auf meine Untersuchung gespannt, wie die sich dann verhalten, auch ich bekomme diese Tropfen ins Auge. Bin Schwerbehindert und bin auf Hilfe angewiesen von meiner Frau ( meine Pflegekraft)!

Ich wollte gerne meine Erfahrung über diese Klinik und ihren „Dienstleistungen“ teilen. Ich wollte mir schon seit geraumer Zeit meine Augen läsern lassen und meine Recherche nach einer Klinik in Bonn bin ich auf die hier gestoßen. Ich musste für die Voruntersuchung 25,00 € zahlen. Bei der ersten Untersuchung hieß es „die Augen sind zu trocken“ dann wurden mir Augentropfen mitgegeben, die ich jeden Abend ohne Pause benutzte. Beim nächsten Termin hieß es dann „es wäre alles in Ordnung, man kann einen Lasertermin ausmachen“. Da hab ich mich natürlich riesig gefreut, endlich dem Traum ein Stück näher. Als es dann soweit war hieß es dann aber: „die Werte der Augen sind nicht einstimmig“. Das war erstmal sehr ermutigend für mich, ich hab schon meine ganzen Kollegen erzählt warum ich mindestens eine Woche nicht da sein werden. Aber gut, sowas kann passieren. Bei der nächsten Voruntersuchung gab es grünes Licht und erneut ein Termin. Die Untersuchung unmittelbar vor dem lasern ist ebenfalls gut verlaufen. Als nun der große Tag kam und ich mich an jede Regel gehalten habe, lag ich auf dem Op Tisch und die Ärzte Dr Feretos & Dr. Steigner haben sich geweigert meine Augen zu lasern, da angeblich mein Pullover elektrisch geladen war. Ich sollte Baumwolle tragen, was ich tat, sogar sehr hochwertige und dennoch wurde ich nachhause geschickt. Extrem niedergeschlagen. Ich sollte nochmal in die Klinik, damit meine Augen erneut untersucht werden, wo ich mir die Frage stellte, warum? Es lag doch nur am Pullover laut beiden Ärzten? Ich hab dieses Spiel ohne meine Bedenken zu äußern die ganze Zeit mit gemacht und natürlich war es bei dieser Untersuchung so das und ich zitiere, meine Augen eine „Ihnen unbekannte Anatomie“ haben. Mir wurde das alles zu viel und ich wollte einfach nur nachhause gehen. Ich wurde damit vertröstet vom Dr. Feretus eine Nachricht zu bekommen mit einer Empfehlung zu einer anderen Klinik und ein Feedback zu meinen Augen, da es ihn selber interessiert hat. Beides nicht geschehen und dies liegt nun fast 5 Monate zurück und das Geld für die Voruntersuchung wurde mir nicht zurück erstattet. Alles in allem eine riesen Enttäuschung, Geld - und Zeitverschwendung. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Between the 14th of Nov and 11th Dec 2019, both my eyes were examined, treated and operated, for glaucoma, cataract and corrective vision surgery in the most professional manner I have ever experienced. Each and every member of the staff were very polite, efficient and totally committed. Prof Dr. Alireza Mirshahi is a perfectionist and immediately gained my full confidence. It is hard to offer any form of real constructive criticism because everything was just so perfect. They even have the train station across the road from the clinic. The only thing I can say is that all documentation and brochures are only available in German, although everyone speaks fair English in all departments. Clifton J. F. Desouza

Ich habe eine neue Linse bekommen. Ich kann nur sagen von der Voruntersuchung über OP und Nachversorgung alles perfekt. Es ist ein super Team, alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Ich kann diese Augenklinik nur weiterempfehlen.

If I had known earlier what kind of quality of life the operations would give me, I would definitely have had the operation done before the cataracts. I had my first glasses when I was 2 years old. I am nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other and have severe astigmatism. All my life I have had to live with poor eyesight, which has always hindered me. It was only after the operations that I was able to see well again, for the first time in my life. The perfect treatment tailored to my problems gave me a new attitude to life. I had two operations there in the last month and was hospitalized for six days. As someone who is very afraid of any doctors, I can only recommend this clinic. Every single person, whether at reception, during the preliminary examinations, the nurses on the ward, or down in the operating room - they were all very empathetic and extremely friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. I felt like I was in good hands there at all times. The process is very well structured and works. Of course, sometimes you have to be a little patient and have to wait, but everyone's professionalism makes up for it. The doctors were sometimes stressed, but my questions were always answered. I recommend the eye clinic without reservation!

Ich hatte es heute morgen eilig und musste wirklich dringend kxcken, jedoch war die Empfangsdame sehr unfreundlich und obwohl ich am schwitzen war, weil ich kxacken musste, ließ sie mich nicht auf Toilette, sehr sehr unfreundlich. Meiner Meinung keinen Stern wert, aber drinnen sah es recht schön aus.

I went to the Dardenne Eye Clinic for a follow-up examination because I was in severe pain after my second cerclage operation, which I had performed at the Cologne University Hospital. I was examined by very nice, competent doctors and I have had two laser procedures so far. I was very scared but the senior doctor (Dr. BLUMENSTEIN) who took very good care of me and was able to identify the problem during the first follow-up check had the highest praise for him! He was very sensitive and empathetic and even motivated me to persevere during the procedure. I am aware that I am at the beginning of my journey, but I feel very comfortable and in good hands at the Dardenne Eye Clinic and can only recommend it to everyone. Therefore 5 stars from me.

Had the 2 surgery appointments there, a preliminary discussion, friendly team, the waiting times were acceptable. The management chose well when choosing lunch (vegetarian). can recommend this eye clinic. ! Praise to the “makers” Great interaction the beautiful villa with the modern eye clinic!

Tolle Klinik, sehr kompetentes Personal. Man wird schon sehr freundlich empfangen und auch die weiteren Behandlungsschritte werden immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und kompetent begleitet. Jede Voruntersuchung wird genau erklärt und auch vor, während und nach der OP wird man Schritt für Schritt mitgenommen. Habe mich wirklich zu jeder Zeit in guten befunden! Werde die Klinik uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Gebe 10 von 5 Sternen!

Die Mitarbeiter sind nett, aber man musste 50 Minuten warten trotz Termin. Ich wurde nach 30 Minuten zur Anamnese aufgerufen um danach wieder zum 20 Minuten warten ins Wartezimmer zurückgeschickt zu werden um dann endlich eine einfach Augenkontrolle von 5 Minuten zu bekommen.

Even before the appointment was made, the lady on the phone was so unfriendly and ignorant that I had to end the conversation. Instead of just listening to me and guaranteeing me help, the lady kept interrupting me in a snappy and know-it-all manner. One less patient, because I'm looking for an appointment elsewhere and will advise everyone against the clinic! The staff here should be trained to be friendly. Thanks for nothing!

I went to the Dardennes Clinic for treatment twice within a month. The clinic staff are very friendly and helpful. The process in the clinic is well timed and therefore very pleasant. The staff from registration to surgery seem very professional to me. I would seek treatment at the Dardennen Clinic again at any time.

After struggling for a long time with myself about who should carry out the cataract surgery, I turned to Dardenne/Bad Godesberg for a recommendation. The preliminary examinations are structured and professional. On this basis, you then have a medical examination that confirms the findings. Since I wanted to minimize the risk as much as possible, I consulted the head of the clinic for advice. I had a long list of questions (e.g. durability of the lens, what focus should the eye focus on, risks of multifocal lenses, etc.). The list of questions was answered to my complete satisfaction and I decided on a monofocal lens and an operation with a FEMTO laser (additional costs), which is currently the most gentle option. The operation itself is relatively unspectacular: you have an explanatory discussion with the anesthetist, you sit on the operating table (after changing your outer clothing) and you are then sedated ("twilight sleep", i.e. no general anesthesia). After about an hour it's all over, the eye stays glued shut for a day and then the next day in the clinic the gift: a razor-sharp look (you can see every speck of dust) and you could cheer! So: If I had to give my best friend a recommendation: have the eye surgery done at Dardenne (preferably by the professor/boss himself). It couldn't be better!
