Einen solchen Restaurantbesuch haben wir selten erlebt und obwohl wir erst zweimal zu Gast waren, fühlte es sich sogar schon beim ersten Besuch so an, als wäre man schon eine sehr lange Zeit befreundet. What a cute place! We came 1 hr before closing and the owners were so hospitable. We were recommended really nice wines that were tailored to what our preferences were. They really just want to make sure you enjoy a nice glass of wine. Would've loved to also try the food-- definitely would go back next time I'm in Düsseldorf.

We came back after 2 years cause we don’t live in Düsseldorf anymore. Everything was perfect like before. The food was delicious. Handmade pasta and cooked properly like a real italian. Hier haben die Gastgeber wirklich noch Freude an dem was sie tun und das spürt man auch. Der Herr des Hauses - und der Küche - läuft beschwingt durch den Gastraum und begrüßt die Gäste - man merkt er freut sich aufrichtig. Die Dame des Hauses bestricht durch ehrliche Freundlichkeit und einen unaufdringlichen natürlichen und informativen Service, der Sohnemann schein ebenso entspannt wie die Eltern. Der Umgang mit Wein, Speisen und Gästen ist so natürlich das es wehmütig macht nach der Rechnung zu fragen. Ich komme gerne wieder und vielen Dank, der selbst kreierte Cuvee war ein Schmankerl!

What an amazing experience! The restaurant and the owners are extremely welcoming. I love the ambience and the cozy feel of Fleckenstein’s charming hidden gem. It felt like spending a wonderful afternoon at a friend’s home. Christine was an outstanding hostess, very warm hearted and personal. She truly loves what she’s doing and it is more than obvious that her and her husband put all of their heart and soul into the food and unique decoration. My aunt and I originally planned on visiting Fleckensteins only for a quick lunch, but we ended up spending almost 6 hours there :D We shared a delicious platter with cold cuts, cheese and olives as a starter and ended up having some tasty pasta and traditional “Königsberger Klopse” as a main course. The apple streusel cake at the end topped it all off! Every dish was hearty soul food! Can’t wait to be back soon! Definitely a place I will return to! Keep it up 👍🏼
