    Carglass is not necessarily recommended, but you are often referred there by the insurance company's workshop ties. Next time I will visit one of the other two workshops. Be careful with vehicles with optical assistance systems. Be sure to check the window itself for an original spare part before installation. Unfortunately, an original disc confirmed by telephone is difficult to prove and you receive a replica. It is also worth noting the mileage, as extensive calibration runs are carried out. For me it was a good 32 km. If you still have an electric parking disc or an environmental sticker from other places, it is probably better to organize this yourself. At least my France plaque had not been addressed and a primary school child could cut out the double-sided adhesive pad better. A quote from the complaint response: "Carglass® does not use any replica or accessory parts because their quality does not correspond to the components that were used in the manufacture of the vehicle.     The existing appointment to change the windshield was postponed for several weeks due to illness of a Carglas employee. After replacing the windshield, water dripped from the mirror onto the control console of the infotainment system in the interior on the first night of rain. After another inspection by Carglas, the reason was clear: leakage, because the adhesive on the window had folded and was not sitting properly. The succinct answer that it's a craft and something like that can happen (I ask myself why I go to the 'disc professionals' when such mistakes, which are obviously well known, cannot be avoided?) The disc was reinserted. The electronics of the navigation system, the assistance systems and the air conditioning no longer work properly due to the water that has penetrated, and error messages constantly appear. I had to make an appointment at VW so that everything could be checked and replaced if necessary. This involved repacking (for the 3rd time) because it was a company car and running around/reorganizing appointments etc. Luckily I don't have any financial damage because, as I said, it's a company car. The time could have been saved and the hassle avoided if the work had been done sensibly and professionally. Still a star because the employee made an effort.

    Quick order acceptance, but putting a new side window on adhesive strips (I had to tape the window shut before a new window was installed) is unprofessional. Simply left the adhesive strips on the car paint, but what's worse is that the window was placed on the adhesive strips in the interior. How should you remove it properly now?     You have to plan a waiting time of around 3 weeks for an appointment to change your windows. The appointment itself and processing were good. Staff was friendly. After installing the windshield, there was still a problem with a sensor, but this was replaced and the problem was solved.
