First impression was quite bad due to the staff of boat doesn't have knowledge about history and amenities the resort offers and very bad communication skills. One of our friends visited her said to us ask for a person who works on boat , who have good communication skills and knowledge of history and amenities of the resort well and he helped them for dolphin ride as well. When we visited he was not there, Although a good place to relax and enjoy.

Staff need to be trained professionally as they don't know how to greet guests. many of the staff doesn't have proper communication skillsand there behavior towards guests is rude,we have seen laughing and cracking jokes on us instead of giving us a first impressions towards the resort same thing happened while our check-out. Our first and last impressions was really bad. My suggestion to the Resort is hire such personal who have good knowledge of locality and speaking skills, rather than current staff, specifically staff on ferry . Who have less than poor communication skills with the standards of the resort itself. place which have potential of became a "Fishing Destination" like the Andaman Islands, all thanks to it's beautiful location in the Arabian Sea. The current guide for fishing activity doesn't have proper knowledge about fishing with modern equipments, as they have given 'Deep Sea Fishing ' as one of there main activities. An instructor with good knowledge of locality as well as fishing knowledge with modern fishing gear is required.

Great place but some of the staff need to be trained.. Specially the staff of Ferry as they lack information about local culture & heritage and history with no knowledge about resort activities and amenities .. And they have very poor communication skills.. My suggestion to the resort is hire such persons who have "good communication skills" with knowledge of local culture & heritage, history... It will have good first impression on Guests...

With latest trend... Its just like a Wow.. Amazing island resort with excellent rooms, food and activities. Kayaking and boat ride was the best. Infinity pool overlooking the sea. Nature trail was fun with local birds, marine and walk on the island. Staff is welcoming and supportive. Would love to visit again with few extra days.

I don't give 5 stars to any institution and the reason is there is always a scope for improvement. However CINTACOR for me has scaled to 5 stars on Location, and 4.5 on everything else. The property is simply serene and classy. The biggest icing on the cake was Chef Purushothaman. His culinary skills were simply fantastic, he served one of the best seas foods we have had. We had one of the best times, we would definitely visit again and would for sure recommend a visit. Island resort with an infinity pool and we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset, seagulls flying over us, on a lucky day you can even spot a dolphin and we did. A private beach with water sports. Walk around the island and discover a Portuguese church and a gorge with a mythical story. A beautiful disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the world. And finally, let Chef Purushotham tickle you with some amazing food.

Fantastic experience! It's a 40 acre island that's just 20 min boat ride away from Karwar. We spent 2 days here and it was an awesome experience. The best sunset on the most incredible infinite pool. Every room has sea view.

A warm and exotic resort nested in this beautiful island. The sunset view from the pool is amazing. The small beach becomes your own paradise during the stay. The island is kept in its most natural form. Absolutely loved the food at the restaurant and the staff and service is top class! All in all had a lovely time at the resort. Highly recommended if you are looking for a time away and some peace.

Loved this island resort. It is on par or even superior to international destinations. Serene waters, fabulous rooms with privacy and the amazing variety of food made it a memorable stay. My kids had a great time wandering around the property which is completely secure, riding the water scooter and swimming in the infinity pool with breathtaking views. A very refreshing break indeed!

Nature nature and just nature. The money well spent on being quite picture perfect beautiful private island. Not for parties and adventure. Very well managed, great and very friendly staff. Though it is a private island and away in sea, the communication links are not broken. The infinity pool is world class. If you just want to spend one day in green lush, humid nature with beautiful sea views and relax and ready to spend more than Rs20K per night then this should be in your bucket list.

This place is perfect for a do-nothing holiday. relax and unwind by the pool or beach and also get your heart beating with the water sports and activities. such as kayaking in the sea, banana boating, jet ski and dolphin watching (special thanks to SUBHASH). Also unwind walk around the beautiful island surrounded by trees on two sides. Feast your eyes on the magnificent views of the sunset from the infinity pool or just of the vast sea as far as your eyes can see. The staff are super sweet and wonderful. The food was absolutely spectacular with a view you just cannot get enough of. we had six meals with many components in it and everything was amazing (except for the paneer butter masala). A special thanks to Chef Purushottam who made literally anything we asked for (like lemon rice) that weren't on the menu. also a special thanks to NITIN (f&b manager), HARISH (f&b associate) and PRAKASH (f&b associate) for a pleasant and superb dining experience. we had a super relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience as well. The island is pretty large in area. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. There was only more family apart from us and they were on the other side of the island which made it seem like we had the island all to ourselves. The rooms are comfortable and relaxed. they are really clean and well maintained by the housekeeping team led by MR. GANESH. The pool was extremely well sanitized and pleasant it was also really well maintained by two other people both named Ganesh. All in all we had a spectacular vacation, however there is nothing you can do after 3-4 on this island. By which time you would be refreshed and ready to go back to hectic city life. Do visit.

We stayed here for 2N and 3D and oh what a stay it was. From the ferry ride to the island and till we checked out, it was one hell of an experience. A big thanks to the ferry team who made sure we dint have to carry any luggage by ourselves while boarding the ferry, the front desk team who gave us a brief history of the island and various other timings. The restaurant team and the chef Mr. Purshotam, he had made us Jain food on special request. Mr. Srinivasan the house keeping team always served us with a big smile. Overall a great experience. Go there to watch the lovely sunsets, to star gaze to get some good food. 5/5

Location is amazing and so a must visit. But we had bad experiences with these - management pls so better here 1. Buggy wasn't working, so be it going to beach or spa or the nature trail was on foot and very tiring. My 5 year old couldn't cope the steep slope climbing. We all ended with very sore legs 2. Food service is very poor. Timings to start serving food was very late. On the last day, they took 2 hours to serve our food. Ordered at 1.15 no sign of food until 2.30 .... super short staffed.

The property is very beautiful but the amount they charge for the rooms/sevices/food is way way above what they provide. The rooms are good but not worth 20k per night. The service is very bad, the restaurant staff is really undertrained. Their rates are at par with taj/hyatt/leela but their services snd rooms are nowhere near to them!! NOT RECOMMENDED

Had a memorable and peaceful stay on this Island. We planned a family vacation for 3 days. Staff was very friendly and helpful- Sharof, Ganesh & Harish were available all the time. Took good care of all our special requests too. Would highly recommend this place and I personally will definitely visit again.

The island property is amazing. The staff, right from Seraphim to Gajendra to the chef, the people who clean our rooms, the guides on the walk were so friendly and accommodating. We were a mixed group- a 72 year old to a 2 year old- and all our wants were met. The food was yummy and every meal was freshly prepared. I'd highly recommend staying here. A couple of suggestions to make this experience complete would be 1) to have a small play area with a caretaker for entertaining little kids 2) an introduction to the history and background of the island would be great.

Cintacor resort is a great location for beach vacation. The sea facing comfy rooms, pristine beach, the green island trails, the glory of Arabian sea topped with breathtaking sunset view from the infinity pool makes this an idyllic location to relax and recharge. What stands out is definitely the amazing food lovingly put together by Chef Joshua and his team along with amazing service led by Property manager Nithin, Front desk lead Serafin and their well trained staff. Thank You Prateek, Saket, Ganesh (three of them!) Gajendra, Asif, Amin, Madhusoodan and many more for making our vacation a wonderful and memorable experience with your amazing service and hospitality. We would come back again soon!

One of the best resort I visited so far. Right from welcoming us to the island till the time we checkout room everybody behaved very well. Special mention to sarafin for guiding us through out our stay. All the staffs in restaurant is well behaved. No need to mention specially about the place because its the only private island in india with such breathtaking views from each and every corner of the island.

Cintacor Island Resort is an amazing experience, I cannot recommend it enough. The service was exceptional and the cabanas were gorgeous. They really put a lot of care into each detail from food to atmosphere. Definitely one of the most luxurious resorts we've ever experienced!

Beautiful getaway place from the busy schedule. Perfect place to chillout and refresh yourself To begin with front desk and communication with travel and stay is very well communicated by Sarafin and team. Very polite and jovial people on the island. The restaurant and all your eating stuff is managed by Nitin and team. Special mention to Avis for his assistance. Hari srinivas and all are very caring and helpful. Housekeeping team also helps u with your needs. Swimming pool is cleaned continuously and very well kept This island is a much recommended place for you to hang out and take a break from what you are doing. Remember this is a island away from mainland so you need to be patient with your timings and if you need special food - to be communicated in advance. Not posting pictures as they match with what you see online and on the website.

This is an amazing resort on an island. Surrounded by water on all sides and in the midst of greenery. The staff on the property is super courteous and helpful. The infinity pool gives a mesmerizing view of the ocean. Food is tasty though there is limited variety, considering that they have to stock food, fruits, etc delivered from Karwar. To reach the island they arrange for a steamer/boat from a jetty point, it takes about 30 mins to reach from here. For electricity they rely on generators. The internet connectivity is good. The resort is closed during monsoons, due to rough seas. There is a decent sized private beach with few sports activities. You can enjoy nature's trail around the island.

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Cintacor Island resort starting the 16th April 2022. Mr.Pavan from the front desk gave us a call on the prior day to guide us on the way to the resort and to coordinate the Ferry ride. On the day of arrival we were greeted well by the staff, luggage transportation to our residence was prompt, briefing of the room was done very well with immense courtesy by Ms. Sharafeen. Thank you Pavan and Sharafeen for your hospitality. It truly makes a difference The cottages are very well planned and beautiful. The food (a la carte) was amazing although i missed the buffet. Always remember to have their Crab speciality which truly stand out. Food was fantastic and Nitin, Deepak & Brian ensured that all of our dining experiences were enjoyable. Although they were operating with less staff, we never felt any deterioration in the food quality and the promptness to attend to our needs and comfort. Truly appreciate the attentive service by many staff of which i remember one name, Mr. Ganesh - Thank you. Praises for Mr. Amit the Bartender - Thank you for the wonderful cocktails and the nice chats by the bar counter. Finally, what makes this place unique is the water activities and a special thanks to Gajendra and Subhash for organising all of the water sports activities in a very memorable and safe manner. Overall, a great time spent , great experience received, and great memories to hold. Thank you all staff at Cintacor Island Resort

An excellent Resort and one of its kind in Karnataka…. 20 mins boat ride from Karwar mainland this place is a must visit atleast once with your loved ones. All information regarding our arrival were well collected in advance and Contact from the Mainland was in touch who ensured our cars are parked in safety and bags loaded to to boat. Please note you need to arrive at Karwar before 4pm ad since then Fisherman would have dropped the fishing nets these passenger boats do not operate. This point needs to be well adhered to so your stay here is very smooth. The staff at the resort are very kind to help you with all your needs and hospitality is utmost here, in addition to this the property is well kept too. Please note since this is an island resort set your expectation absolute right as operating these kind of places has its own challenges. The food despite the above is very well made and menus are quite good, they have a sunset restro and a separate bar. The resort has a small beach with Speed boat, Kayaking and few soft adventure activities. Thoroughly enjoyed 2 day here. Advice all to book a room with complete food package.

It’s a beautiful island with comfortable accommodation and excellent food. There are many activities for enthusiasts, both indoor and outdoor( beach and swimming). My family and I enjoyed our time relaxing and playing a few indoor board games. There are golf carts for you to move around the property, they can be called for easily, as most places are guarded. The beach is a bit rocky and not swim friendly, but you could sit by these rocks and collect shells. The water is shallow but please be careful as there are rocks. How to reach: we drove from Bangalore to Karwar and took the ferry, that was organized by the resort, which took us about 15-20 mins to reach the island. We parked our car at designated place provided by the resort. The only con: Was the air conditioner which wasn’t functioning and was smelly. However, the technician was called and the ac was fixed. They may want to consider replacing their AC unit.
