Enjoyed the stay here..rooms were clean and sanitized..responsive staff..milk available for kids on phone call..dinner buffet was very good charged at 1300 plus tax on weekday..Breakfast was not so good..snacks price too high..whole property maintained clean..swimming pool open and they allow only nylon wear..charging 1250 Rs for one nylon trouser..so pls take it from us home if planning to use swimming pool..kids play area also available..

Overall good experience. Rooms are neat but a bit basic for 5 star experience, entire resort's atmosphere is very pleasing. Food is good but can be more improvised to match 5 star standards. COVID protocols followed well, all the staffs wearing mask all the time which is very important.

We stayed for a couple of days. The Room was excellent with great beach view. However, the service was pathetic. A couple of things I had requested never turned up. We travelled for some peace and tranquil, but they had hired the hotel out to a marriage party who set up a stage just outside out hotel room spoiling our entire view of the beach, such a waste of our money.. cleanliness was horrible. Moreover, all the wedding vendors and stage guys were so loud and full of bad language that it was impossible for me to stay with my 4 year olds daughter… The place was not even close to a 5 star in terms of cleanliness. I must mention the food and breakfast is also not what is accepted of a 5 star hotel. They have a very poor selection of food in the one restaurant in the property. Not to mention the effort you have to put in for the waiters to Pu attention to you.. overall a very bad experience…

We stayed there for 4 days. It was amazing stay with awesome sea view. All staffs are very courteous and nice, specifically i would like to thank Nivedita and Mr Jay Kumar cleaning staff. Delicious food.

Excellent place for a do nothing trip. We booked a garden cottage and got upgraded to garden bungalow. Very calm, green and close to the beach. Swimming pool is neat and the good is excellent. The breakfast spread was awesome. We have decided to visit here regularly. The beach is clean and well maintained.

Visited this place for a 3 day trip. It is built in a resort like fashion. The rooms are decent(or average for the price) but not luxurious. The property itself is pretty with greenery all around. The best part of this place is their location with their beautiful swimming pool looking over the beach, and easy access to the beach itself. Service is polite. The restaurant is again nit the greatest and food tends to worsen over the weekend. Their buffets(breakfast and dinner) are below par and need to be improved, especially for non vegetarians.

Location is good, private beach, swimming pool, full of greenary. Good place for relaxing. Facilities inside the room are of 3-4 stars, not looks like 5 star. Staffs are friendly and provide quick service. Price is on higher side. Stayed for two nights with family including toddler. Kids love this place.

Pros: Nice swimming pool Very good Beach Area. Big Garden. Very good food. Cons: Room Bed size is not good. Kids play area is not clean and no tree overs there, so you can play in evening or morning. As you know Chennai very hot.

This hotel is having a beautiful view with full of green tree, all staff is very curious, beach view and room is good. Breakfast is good, we would love to visit again. Specially Mr. Rintu he is very nice. And Ms. Priya from front office both are amazing.

Stayed in beach villa and it became the best choice we made. Amazing hospitality at the hotel. Priya and all others assisted us at each and every step. Good getaway with family and kids. As the beach is next to the resort,makes it more lovely to spend time.

Slightly over priced for resorts in the area but backed by excellent service and food. Everything in the resort is over priced. Rooms seem a touch dated and there were a number of water leaks in the common dining area. We visited the property during a lean time - so didn’t encounter the hustle and bustle. But it’s easy to imagine that this would get over crowded. The common areas are not proportional to the number of guests.

Very spacious rooms with clean linens. The swimming pool is segregated into three parts to suit all ages. The food is good and my recommendation is to go for a buffet rather than ala carte. Other activities including billiards and table tennis are good. Small play area for kids, maintained very well

Honest review- The food was awesome, beach too! Staff is extremely friendly and nice I really loved interacting with Nivedita and Sangita, they were really sweet!! Favourites in the hotel! Leo really helped us with the car service & cleaning! Room service was good and fast. The room was okay - the extra bed was a little wonky, it would tilt if we sat on it. The side tables were also little dusty when we came, rest everything was nice. Last week we had experience in this resort . Views and ambience suit were good. But services were poor. Hope they do not understand the requirements. Food was nice. Needs good supervisors. See that the orders of customers are fulfilled ..

Not upto the standard of itc at all. The service is not good. They couldn't deliver a simple request of cappachino.Although location is good but not much entertainment zones or seating spaces. There is only pool area. Sunbeds could be provided on the beach or some seating in the garden to enjoy the property. After a point you're stuck in the room with not much to do.

Average hotel i would say. Definitely not 5 star. Hotels with 5 star have better services. The services are not bad but not up to the standards. Everything takes times, for few things we had to request 7-8 times. Rooms were not ready but were handed to us. Even saw couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. We opted for standard rooms where they actually made us feel like they will give us only lower than standard services. Few good things: Breakfast (juice and other drinks were horrible though, cold coffee especially which had sugar enough to make anyone diabetic , they repeated the same thing again) and dinner buffet, location, especially the access to the beach. But the downside is that they don’t provide any sun bed for guests who want to access the beach. This hotel seems to be more for groups or companies that want to conduct conferences. Staffs have been friendly though. Still having one night to go, no room cleaning so far, despite asking them to. Not spending so much money here next time only to get service of a 2 star hotel.

First the good things.. because they're just a couple 1. The rooms were decent 2. Location of property with beach access is good. And there ends that. Terrible service The restaurant takes 45 mins to serve a cup of coffee, even though there is practically no one else in the restaurant waiting to be served. A cocktail in an empty restaurant takes an hour. Food is mediocre. But my main grief is that, I had missed a couple of my things when I checked out. That very evening when I called, they said they can courier it (i gave them the option that i can come collect if they cant courier) . And despite calling them multiple times a day for about 4 days, and being promised constantly that it has been sent and that they will send the tracking number in 5 mins, 30 mins, the next day. Only for them to finally come clean (after 4 days) after me losing my temper that they had NEVER couriered it at all. PATHETIC SERVICE. Finally on having to go in person to pick up the stuff, the staff had the audacity to tell me that I have been rude to their staff and its not acceptable. Just WOW! Would not recommend this place to anyone.

High deterioration in service .. Have stayed here before and there is severe deterioration in hygiene and service. Plates in the restaurant are not clean.. u can scrape dirt out of it before eating..:reception desk treats u like cattle class ..restaurant decides to serve starter after ur main course is completed even after 4 reminders.. Food is also average

Amazing place. Must visit. Amazing atmosphere. All the staff were very courteous. Most important the place is PET FRIENDLY. The staff Sohaj and Tishu were very friendly and handled the senior and super senior citizens with extra care. Overall a fantastic place to relax.

An expansive location with plenty of greenery and nice bungalow rooms. The pool is amazing and is right next to the beach so yoi can gaze into the ocean while swimming. It makes up for the fact that being on the east coast, the waters aren't friendly for swimming. The food is good but not great, some great south indian breakfast options tho.

Not worth the price at all! We had gone there with our 1 year old. The main door was always jammed and will never open from Outside. We waited over an hour to open it but luckily remembered that we left the side entrance open and used it! But we always had to use only the side entrance during our stay cause the main door will never open. Taps don’t have hot water at all and it’s in December ! So much of water stagnation in the sink and shower area. Despite asking them to fix it , it made no difference. Poor service and customers relationship management!

Hi I visited the Resort on 29 May 2022 to 31 May 2022 for the First time. Had a good experience staying at Welcome hotel. 1. First of all I would like to say that the Resort is very specious for walking and relaxing . 2.Morning Breakfast was awesome some resorts have more variety. The taste and aroma of morning breakfast was good. 3. During the stay one night we had buffet dinner at the resturant .The dinner was awesome had a wide variety . 4 .Beach was clean and neat and swimming pool was well maintained .

The two night stay at the hotel was lovely. Amazing staff who where courteous and helpful! Special shout out to Mr. Saurav, who helped me arrange a special dinner for my husbands birthday keeping in mind all the covid protocols. Another special shout-out to Mr. Ayush from the sales team, who helped me book my stay at the resort in ease. Thank you team! This weekend will definitely be remembered.

Good place with nice garden, pool, Beach and play area for children. Morning breakfast buffet was fantastic. The only problem was with the size of the room. We booked garden cottage, for similar price elsewhere rooms are substantially large. But the rooms were considerably not all that spacious. I recommend they must lower their price considering the size of the room. All in all from the staff to property, everything was good.

Clearly where a touch of luxury can be felt. If you wanna compare visit the Radisson Blu about a KM and you can feel how commercial and huge it is and over priced. Coming back to Kenses by the Palm Beach and a walk through the path leading to the rooms kicks in that sense of richness and luxury in the lap of nature. Yet, we can give it to COVID for “Not the best service” and low on maintenance, if so due to limitations and new trainee employees and overall restrictions. Would rate my stay at Fisherman’s Cove better 10 years back. Huge spacious rooms with nature kissing you at every step.

It was amazing!!!! The staff were very good. The beach was just great and the swimming pool was also good and the food was very tasty 😋. The help were very kind. The resort was just fabulous. And the scenery was very nice!!

Kids also had a great time at the pool and seashore... It's a very decent and amazing place for destination weddings too... I suggest this resort for everyone who wants to relax and have an awesome time with friends and family...

We had booked 7 cottage bungalows of which most were handed over quite late. The rooms and other amenities such as the swimming pool were good in terms of ambience. Given that this is a beach resort, they could have done more to ensure that the rooms were better maintained and it didn't help that it was raining during our stay. Their services could have been more prompt, but their staff were courteous. Over all, I feel that they could have done a better job.

It was an excellent stay. Rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. Swimming pool is also good. Restaurant has good varieties and serves hygienic food. Staff members are very courteous. We even had surprise gifts as it was our anniversary day. I will strongly recommend this place.

The place was amazingly good 👍. Hospitality of the Staff was a delight from HK to receptionist to food service. Special appreciation to the chefs at RIVA food was delicious .. every meal was special. We had been there for 2 nights stay and enjoyed thoroughly. Pool was extremely neat. Beach view was treat to the eyes. We had been to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and as we told them they upgraded our room, decorations the bed with 10th Anniversary message and arranged a cake. Room decorations was excellent everything done with flowers and leaves. My kids enjoyed the entire stay in this beautifully maintained property along with great staff. Will definitely recommend and revisit again.

We visited for family vacation and booked two rooms. It is well situated just outside of mahabalipuram but close enough to go to city anytime. Really loved the nature/garden inside the premises and lovely view from garden cottage rooms. You can easily walk down to beach and they do have swimming pool just near the shore which has really good view. Hospitality is good , in fact they don't even charge some items if you order for kids/babies. The team try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. When we visited we noticed there were 2-3 delegates from different companies staying in resort, so felt more like business hotel. Breakfast buffet was decent but definitely can be improved, we have stayed in other lower grade hotels and their spread and taste was better. You'll not feel a 5-star hotel vibe overall but very good place to relax and unwind yourself. The staff was very courteous and helpful throughout the stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. hospitable welcome at the front office by Ms Roma Priya. The gardens were well maintained.. big lawns for all kinds of activities and access to beach. Very hospital service at the restaurant by Ms Rita. All the staffs were friendly. However, there are 2 restaurants but both are way too expensive even for a 5 star hotel. We felt that we did not get the value for the money spent. The pool also was not fully satisfactory. It could have been cleaned properly and maintained better. Rooms were decent for a five star hotel. We stayed in a garden cottage.

My wife and I hosted our wedding here this summer. We did a resort buy out for two days and hosted 5 events at the property. Overall we and our guests loved the resort and had a ton of fun. The staff was very hospitable to us. We are from the United States and usually stay at 5 star resorts here and when going on vacation and were satisfied with the amenities provided. What we loved: We booked a few rooms the night before our buy out and ITC upgraded us to suites which was really nice of them. They were easy to work with when providing the rooms and checking in our guests including notifying us of extra rooms that were available, especially Mr.Piyush The beach and pool area were really nice and our guests loved them as well as the property in general. Rooms were really clean and spacious The banquet hall was very spacious and could easily fit our stage, seating for the guests, and more extra space for people to walk around and for decorations on the side What could have been better Only 1 of the buggies or golf carts was operational which was disappointing. We had events on the beach and in the banquet hall and elder guests and others had to walk back and forth. Same with key members of the bride and groom's family and friends. The banquet coordinator we had worked with up till the event quit 1 day before our events started and did not inform the rest of the staff of our plans. This lack of communication created confusion and stress that could have been avoided right before our events. Regardless, we overcame this and the events went smoothly afterwards.

We stayed for 2 nights from the checking to checkout the process was smooth. They have double ungraded the room which was truly a delightful experience but looking at the rooms I can say it requires improvements. Rooms are not worth the money they are charging.Paying for 5 star u expect a little more. Probably the rooms r old so they require renovation.Rest the property is marvellous right on the beach. Beach was not at all crowded. Pool was good. The staff was courteous and always ready to help with the smile. Restaurant is equally good. Food was delicious but slightly overpriced.As it was our anniversary they arranged for a complimentary cake. So overall we loved the stay. Deducting one star for the rooms.

We stayed over a weekend for two days at the garden bungalow and we liked the stay a lot. This is one of the pet friendly hotels in Chennai and they made sure the pets are also comfortable. The hostess Priya made sure our stay was comfortable. The food at the breakfast buffet counters was good too. It has a beach access with a pool view. The room was spacious with a garden bungalow. The stay was relaxing and we would recommend it.

Costs are very very high. But rooms are very very nice and well maintained. Personally i felt like foods are missing something. I don't know but need to improve your foods taste. Because you are top most expensive and awesome hotels in India. Nice experience and awesome memories. Thanks in advance.

Felt welcomed and was nice. Facilities are refreshing. However it was noticed that many of the complimentary services and activities were not available this time contrary to the time we had visited before the pandemic. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Stay was comfortable. Rooms are big and clean. Property is huge with a beautiful swimming pool.. We enjoyed our stay.. will definitely visit again.. During our stay, I happen to forget my pair of gold bangles, which was promptly returned to me by the housekeeping department. Iam do greatful to the staff for their honesty. The staff is so honest .. difficult to find this kind of loyalty and customer service. Kudos to team . 🙏🙏🙏

Really good food. Great responsive service. We had an issue with original room and replacement was given very quickly . We had our two year old daughter with us and she also really enjoyed the play areas and wide spaces Definitely well recommended Aakash was one of the staff members who served very well

A clean and beautiful property overlooking the serene beach. The garden bungalow was spacious with a good view. They have attendants and security guards both at the swimming pool and beach area which is good if you have kids with you. Their restaurant Riva serves delicious food especially loved their karuvappilai prawns. Appreciate the hospitality and reassurance calls by the hotel staff. Anything we needed was provided in a jiffy.

Great hospitality, Ram the FnB manager was very helpful. and good food. Also the splendid greenery of the resort was soothing. Room glass door was not sound proof, thunder kept me awake and also mosquitoes in the deck by the pool, there could be coils burning.

Right from entry everything was great. The staff was very friendly and ready to help you always. It is a private beach resort. Beach is open from 6am to 6pm. After that they will not allow you to roam around beach. It is covered from boundary walls. You can sit inside and enjoy the cool and refreshing air. Everything was clean and hygienic. Rooms are fantastic with all amenities. The only cons I have is " A la carte" price is too high.
