Best in the area… old restaurant with good food…

Ladder to Lounge aims to bring yet another rooftop experience for Doonites. It offers a wide range of cuisines in their Menu. The food is prepared with utmost care using Fortune Oil for Indian dishes and Olive Oil for Salads and Orientals. They consider the full hygiene and safety of their customers. The cuisines are cooked using all Sanjeev Kapoor recipes, so if you’re craving for some, you’re bound to visit Ladder to Lounge. The bar servers a variety of liquor and the area has a nice dance floor with great beats to get your foot tapping. Being a rooftop café, it allows for a great view of the mountains and adds to the “open” - airy space. Over the weekends, people can enjoy live music and groove to the tunes with bands playing on Saturdays and solo performers on Sunday nights. Apart from the café, Hotel Hill View accommodates check in guests to their deluxe and super deluxe rooms and a master suite, which are neatly kept and comforting, at reasonable prices. They also have a banquet hall for parties and weddings and an open garden area. They are sure to please you with their impeccable service and hospitality. With a mountain view, spacious and bright colored seating, and delectable cuisines, Ladder to Lounge is certainly the right place for a get together or parties, where one can have a nice meal with family and friends. Be it the taste of food, the presentation, or the service, they will leave you astonished.

I recently visted for lunch with my eight colleagues at Restaurant Lader to Lounge at Hotel Hill View and to share my disappointing experience. Let's start with the food, which was undoubtedly the most underwhelming aspect of service. The quality of the meals served at the hotel's restaurant was subpar, to say the least. The dishes were bland, poorly seasoned, and lacked any hint of culinary expertise. It was evident that little effort had been put into ensuring a delightful dining experience for guests. The service at restaurant was equally disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated, providing minimal assistance and often neglecting their duties. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism was truly disheartening. What struck me most, however, was the discriminatory behavior I observed during our lunch time. As a member of the Garhwali community, I was dismayed to discover that restaurant did not play any Garhwali songs, despite their prominence in the region. It seemed as though the hotel management either did not understand or simply did not care about the cultural preferences and sensitivities of their guests. This exclusionary attitude left me feeling marginalized and unwelcome. In conclusion, my experience at Restaurant Ladder to Lounge at Hotel Hill View was nothing short of a disappointment. The food was uninspiring, the service was lackluster, and the discrimination against the Garhwali community was both disheartening and offensive. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good places for food at Dehradun. It is my hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to provide a more enjoyable experience for future guests.

I just loved this place.. ambience is really peaceful and mesmerizing..lipsmacking food, awesome service, fabulous cocktails and mocktails.. perfect place to spend quality time with ur friends and family...in short Excellent..

Visited the place on my friend's birthday and loved the service. The food was amazing. We had paneer tikka pizza, hookah, and alcohol. Also, the ambience of this place is breathtaking. You will enjoy your visit here. The only complaint I have is that there music system for is not too loud for dancing. They could have had a dance floor. Except this, I loved the place.

I go to this place with friends or small get togethers. The place is really comfortable, the have a nice open area for seating. The food is really delicious and easy on the packet. Staff is co-operative and attentive, the treat guests with respect. Menu has a lot of variety, and they serve really amazing cocktails. I would absolutely suggest this place for group of friends who want to enjoy but are on a budget. Really amazing place!!!

A nice restaurant in the city with good food and ambience. They have designed it in a very attractive way using wooden stuff, waterfalls and wall paintings. We ordered chicken (forgot the name) and some drinks. Staff is very polite and courteous. Worth visiting once. See the pictures (took at night so not clear) and video here attached with.

Located in front of Pacific golf state gate. One of the best rooftop cafe in town ( with alcohol in the menu ) The service was 5 star, especially the staff was very helpful and nice. The ambience was quite good. The paneer pizza and pasta was delicious. Parking was easily available. Live music during the weekend.

It was pathetic experience with you guys.....here i am sharing my experience as a party planner.....yesterday one of my client plaaned birthday party at there venue and for there party decoration they hired us and bcz it was last moment planning so they just forget to inform the restro people regarding decor part which is very normal but when we reached there for decor the restro staff didn't allow us for the decor bcz they have there own decoratorators and as a decorator i m aware of this that every restro have there own team and they are taking commission on daily basis from the decorators but it doesn't mean they can spoil there clients party....my client called the owner directly and he requested him alot to allow the decor as he planned surprise decor for his wife but unfotunately in a very unprofessional way the owner denied....and in my career 1st time i visited such kind of restro which was very unprofessional, even they don't have feelings and it clients satisfaction doesn't matters for them...we are working with so many restro and hotels but no body treated us like this it was very rood....also 5 months back i visited there as a guest and we ordered some sea food and that was my 1st and last visit bcz i didn't like the taste so dedinetly i m not gonna recommend anyone. Client happiness should be your 1st priority and if you can't take of this then its totally waste

Nice place to hangout..it's very close to our house but never went but got recommendation by our friend so thought give a try and it's definitely clicked with us. Not a fine dine so one can walk up here for casual dinner..yes it's a dinner place as it comes up live at dinner time. Food is good and service is very good. Do visit for drink and starters...has cafe vibe I loved it.

I visited place ✨️ for my birthday celebration We ordered variety of things from their menu 😋 😍 Best part of this place is that it is good for all the age groups ... Kids couples middle aged and all age group enjoyed this place very comfortably .. They have very cute and cozy environment Enjoyable vibes ✨️ I ordered their paneer sizzler which was so yum and have unexpected taste .. Veg paneer tikka pizza 🍕 very thin and crispy crust ♥️ taste so yum Blue lagoon ..very beautifully presented Oreo shake 😋 Paneer tikka which was served in grilled tandoor And veg hakka noodles 🍜 which taste so good 👍 Must recommended this place 👌

I liked the colorful ambience and its open and you can enjoy fresh air. They play nice music and it sets the mood and atmosphere. Food is okay okay and rates are also okay.

Amazing atmosphere with amazing interior design and decoration. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Live band is aa plus point. Food is ok. Good place for hangout and drinks.
