Advantages : - Wonderful location. - Owner rohitash is wonderful person. He has build this place with lots of love and care for tourist. - he has hand drawn map of surrounding places to visit and food options available for guests and explains it with great detail which is highly appreciable. - very safe and peaceful place Take care : - You need to climb 2-3 floors ..so note for it. - be careful if you have naughty child...as no high fencing or grill in balcony and surrounding area.

It's a value for money property with an amazing view. Kora house is very approachable from the Dalai Lama temple. Hosts Rohitash and Ashish are fairly reasonable people who will help you plan your trips. This property is a part of the Kora circuit hence you will see a lot of monks doing parikarma (google it). They also have a back up satellite provided wifi apart from an optical fibre one and this is definitely a plus for people who want to work out of here. A couple of call outs - 1. The road from the Dalai Lama temple to the kora house is very steep though it is around a KM but it will test your fitness 2. There is no cook on the property, they get home cooked food from outside(their home) re-heat and serve it - biggest let down of the property! 3. Breakfast prices don't include tea/coffee 4. To reach rooms you will have to climb a good amount of stairs (like the 4-5th floor of a building) - but again for a good view you will have to do some mehnat! We had a pleasant stay with them apart from a small goof up which happened during breakfast of the day we were checking out. (We requested bread butter for breakfast and for 6 people they got only 1 bread)

I can’t wait to return to Kora House! I stayed there with friends for two weeks. The location is amazing: quiet, secluded, and secure. One disadvantage for elderly folks could be accessibility- there are a significant number of stairs and the market is about a kilometre away. Otherwise, the place, amenities, and hospitality is top notch. Rohitash was a warm and welcoming host and Sooraj Bhaiya, the caretaker, was very helpful and friendly. It was the perfect stay at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place.

The Kora is one of the best place to stay in Mcleodganj. The host and the cook were amazing. All the arrangements were good and we enjoyed a lot. The maps and other details were organised very well. It was a peaceful place, just 10 min walk from the temple. The view is amazing and the caretaker (Sooraj) makes the best tea and Maggi.

The location is awesome 👌 waking up in the clouds. Good hospitality and breakfast home made very tasty. Host Rohitash excellent 👌

This place offers courteous hospitality, peaceful stay, spiritual life, and topped with an amazing view of a sprawling valley. Been here for five days, cherished all of it. I would recommend this any day if you stay in Mcleodganj Himachal Pradesh.

We stayed at kora house for 3 days with family. We took the entire space. This is one the best place to stay in McLeodganj. Amazing location, clean rooms and an amazing host. Caretaker Sooraj was quite helpful. It also have Fully equipped kitchen, high speed Wi-Fi etc. Elderly ppl will have challenge in climbing the stairs to the room from parking and road to Mall Road is quite a steep climb

It's a lovely place to stay in McLeodganj. Specifically, if you are thinking to spend some quite and quality time with nature. It's few metres ahead from the McLeodganj main market. Views from this place are breathtaking. Rooms are big, neat and clean, hygienic, with all the required facilities available. Suitable for families or long term stays.

Words can't express this beautiful hill top bungalow opening to the hills of Mcleodganj. Highly recommend this place to all the travelers. Rohitash and his friend are very supportive and provide you with all the information you need to make your travel more comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely come back and stay here again!
