Please don't ask... 'Who r you?' Wth do you mean by being paid!? This is democracy sir! We have all our rights to address your ill behaviour! Our teacher's car was stuck there. We were discussing how to help him. You guys without helping him! were misbehaving him! How non empathetic and high on ego behaviour was that?? Sir this is not monarchy!!! Behave yourself please!! And please take some hospitality lessons. Very cheap behaviour.

A beautiful place surrounded by verdant forests on the base of a green hill. If you go in the rainy season like we did you’ll be able to see rain clouds build up over the mountains.. it’s a lovely place with great hosts who will try to accommodate all your requests.

Words are not enough to express how much we all loved our stay at the Gajlaxmi palace. So peaceful and quiet, surrounding by dense forests on all sides, the palace is a wonderful place for a detox from all the stress of urban life, with treks through the jungle as well spotting of various wildlife like birds, butterflies, wild boars and occasionally elephants. The place is made more wonderful by the lovely host family, Mr. JP, Madam Navneeta, their daughter and their precious Tabor, who are gracious, charming and amazing people on the whole. What we liked also was the fact that they were very welcoming to travellers with pets. Our 8 year old husky also had a great time. Food was excellent home-made stuff with both Odia and Rajasthani dishes on the menu. We stayed only for 2 nights, with a promise to return again and again for longer stays in future. Gajlaxmi palace is truly a great place to relax and enjoy the slower pace of life.

One of the best Palaces on the top of a mountain inside their own private virgin forest. Elephants come near the water body situated behind the Palace. Love that place. The Owner of the Palace is a renowned hunter in India, who has killed many man eater tigers in his time.

We had a great time when we stayed at Gajlaxmi palace! I would say that it was one of the highlights of my 3 weeks there. Treated like family, taken for lovely walks on the estate and the food was absolute deliciousness! We would love to come back here and can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Best homestay I have ever visited. You will feel like king staying amidst royal grandeur .The palace is surrounded by hills and dense jungle. Elephants, wild boar s, leopard, deers are ocassional passerby. Jungle walk in the morning through narrow trails is very thrilling experience . You can visit tribal villages to get acquainted with dokra art,Joranda,Satkosiya, Saptasajjya, Kapilash,Ansupa lakes, Dhenkanal palace. In winter , migratory birds are seen in the water bodies inside the jungle

It's was an wonderful experience. To wake up in midst of forest in a palace from birds chripping as a nature's alarm clock.... Opening the eyes to greenery all around without any pollution or car honking it feels like a paradise..... Refreshing and rejuvenating.... And the walk in the forest trail looking out of animals was very thrilling.....Sunset besides the lake was breathtaking.....An amazing experience that one's should experience..... Let's visit this hidden gem of Odisha which is in a place called Borapada.... The Gajalaxmi Palace

One of the best place to stay and explore the nature. Rooms are aesthetically designed, staffs are very good and food is awesome. Surrounding forest gives the soul the much needed break from the chaos of the cities
