Must visit place in Saurashtra during "Osam no Medo". No one might have thought that saurashtra can be this much lush green. Most of the Gujaratis think that saurashtra is a dry place. But after visiting this place you will never give those statements for Saurashtra.

This temple is located at osam hill. There are around 450 something stairs to reach this temple. The view is amazing after reaching at top. It is temple of Matri maa.

A unique temple of goddess Matti Mata. Have blessings from Matri Mata alongwith a temple of Lord Shiva next to it. From here a path leads to higher in Osam hill with most picturesque view from the the top.

Holy place Matri Mata Temple situated at Osam Hill surrounded by dense forest and one has to climb approx 600 steps from the foot of the hill to reach Matri Mata Temple. One can also visit from Tapkeshwer Mahadev Temple Osam Hill by climbing approx 100 steps on Osam Hill. The rock of this mountain was also known as Makhaniya parvat as they are strait. Every year from Bhadarvi Amash, 3 day fair is held at Matri Mata Temple. The Goddes is also known as Osam Matri Mata. Matri Mata is Kuldevi of some Nagar family. Near the Matri Mata temple , Lord Dharmeshwer Mahadev small Temple exists. A large rest area for devotees exists. Two small kunds also exist. Water and cold drinks and ready breakfast are sold by some people. One can visit the Jain Derasar route after a 20 minute walk on a small rough path. On this route further Jain Derasar, P.P. Shri Devshi Bapa sthanak, Bhimnath Mahadev etc can be visited. A total of three routes exist for Osam Hill. First route 500 steps to climb for Tapkeshwer Mahadev Temple, second route 600 steps to climb up to Matri Mata Temple and third route 800 steps to climb for P.P. Devashi Bapa sthanak, Jain Derasar and Bhimnath Mahadev. All the places linked with each other at the Top of Osam Hill. One day picnic during monsoon & winter is best. No entrance fees to visit. Best for nature lovers as well as fond of tracking with Darshan of all holy Temples.
