First time visitor and I loved the idea of the open space and a few food places to choose from. I went for a sneaker paint workshop and found the area festive and vibey. Food smells and live entertainment always nice for a Sunday out. Think there can be more stalls added to the ones already there. Lots of parking space and many people brought their dogs along.

Peaceful and refreshing. The food is also 👌. Especially the chicken pie and the history that they have

We brought kids expecting to find farm animals but it just didn't meet our expectations because there were like 2 goats and a chicken, we ended up going to JHB Zoo😒 So if you're going there to see animals, don't do it, you'll be disappointed. However, we looked around and it looks perfect for a Sunday out with friends and kids playing in the play area (looks great). The setting is nice with lots of shade and places sit. There's also a stage for live performances, so we'll try it again another time

We enjoyed this place. It's silent even with the live music going on. Ample of space for the kids to place and the older ones to relax. We had a good time. Worth visiting it at least once.

Very nice place for relaxing in weekends ... Many activities are there for kids.... My Kids just love to be there. The play area is nice and they've few animals inside too. Feeding them is fun. We went on a weekend( sunday) and it was not too crowded, that's good. Many crafts items are sold and the ceramics painting activity is the best for anyone, for kids or even grown ups will enjoy it. Covid protocols needs to be followed by everyone. No drinks or foods allowed from outside. 😊 Overall we had very good experience. ❤

Every now and again I come across hidden gems in our beautiful Country. As a motorcyclist this is as good as it gets however, this farm will suite particularly families with children the bar and stage create opportunities for many events. Highly recommend, the owner is warm and friendly keen and approachable. Will cersee me again.

All I can say about this place is that it's " Vibey!". Visited on a Saturday in October and my oh my....the calm ambience is second to none! They also have amazing food stalls, had this insane slaw with Jamaican jerk chicken! The alcohol is also super affordable and the views are amazing! Such a picturesque venue! Gives you Nostalgia vibes!

Great place to relax and enjoy time with the kids , bar area extremely slow , staff just don’t seem interest but besides the poor management of the bar staff the play is lovely with live bands , kids play areas .

It's a really nice way to spend a relaxed day out. They have rustic and interesting features and it's also a kid-friendly market. There's quite a variety of food stalls and the drinks are also reasonably priced.

A lovely place to go to with friends and family. Accommodates all age groups. There's some performance there I love country music and that is the type of performance I got to see . Also theres huge lawn for the kids to run around and play while you watch from a close distance . In terms of the food I didn't explore much but you can find your typical burgers and pizzas. If you like collecting art crafts theres plenty of stalls which different things to buy .

Lovely venue and a nice day out, especially with friends or family. The best is on a Sunday when there is a market and live music. Entrance is free. Food and drinks available on site.

Riversands is a lovely little outdoor farmers-like type marketplace with a few eateries, like pizzas, shwarmas, smoothies etc. and place to have a picnic. You can go for a walk in the woods or cycle some nearby trails. They have a great little coffee shop. The tables are out in the open. Lovely atmosphere on a sunny day. I think that sometimes they may do live music too, not sure. There is a paintball range nearby and an obstacle course for kids or team building. Also safe parking and a carwash place that recently opened.

I absolutely loved this place. The food was great. The place is not very crowded. Music was good. Perfect ambience just to get away from the business of the city life. Beautiful view of the damn. I think it's a cute place to just relax and unwind.

I loved the vibe, the good food, and the service...we had a year end festival there and wow what fun memories we made...this is an awesome place to host large scale events, and I look forward to visiting the place again, the scenery is amazing.

Beautiful place with lots of stalls and play areas for kids. Some of the dog owners don’t obey the rules that says dogs must always be on leash. Some dogs roam around while owners are enjoying a cold beer 🍻.

Spent a very short time there so I can't give an accurate review, hence the 4 star rating. From what I did experience it seemed lovely. I thought the kids play area could possibly be a little better at playscapes.

This is a great day out with the kids and dogs. Lots of dog friendly stores with toys and treats. Live music is great. Quite a few food stalls for lunch. Burgers, swamas, pizzas etc. Good craft beer on tap. Great day!

Drove about an hour to visit the village. Have to be honest it is quite nice. However variety was very minimal with about 7 to 8 food stalls open. If you have kids & want to make use of the play park it's R60 per kid & adults are free. If you do not want to access this u may not have much to do, except eat, take a few pictures & leave. There was no live music when we visited that Saturday. The pancakes & milkshakes was good. It's really hot there so u may want to have all your gear.

A good amount of farm shops and activities. There was not many people around - probably because of the pandemic. I came specifically for a walk in the bush. There is a lot of space but running / walking trails are not well marked. The area has a lot of rubble that spoils nature sites. If I go again it will be with my bicycle.

Very pleasant open area. Good for kids also. Sunday music is nice. Good craft beer !

The venue is nice, enjoyed the craft beer. We now hold the record for most varieties drank by the jug in one sitting apparently. Good live music. The market side was a little disappointing. More variety there would be nice.

👍👍 Who rates the humble toasted sandwich? Well, my experience of the Mug & Bean's On The Move, Makro Riversands was so good, I've given it five very deserving stars! Grilled in pure butter, this sandwich was mouthwatering with each bite. The cheese, the bacon, ahh egg-perfection. My son had the cheese...
