We had a wonderful time at the Strand Resort Markgrafenheide. Next to the beach. Not far from Rostock, Warnemünde and Karl's Erdbeerhof. A perfect spot for a family holiday.

Generally very good - modern, clean and of a high standard. Swimming pool and sauna area extremely nice, breakfast good. Criticisms - nowhere to get anything to eat and drink on site during the day and the main restaurant is shut 2 nights a week. This isn’t great when the other restaurant is fully booked and you can’t get anything to eat in an evening on site. A bar area is also lacking.

Quiet and beautiful place. Sea is very close to houses, but behind sand dunes. There is no kitchen in houses, only a kettle and a coffee maker. There are dishes, glasses and some cutlery. The plaçe has nice playground for children, there is a swimming pool and saunas in the main building. Two restaurants. Nearest supermarket is Norma, 5 min. drive.

Fantastic beach resort with all kinds of services one needs. Great and very friendly staff. Probably the most excellent location for families with kids at the German coast of the Baltic Sea!

We loved it! Beautiful, and service was wonderful!!! So many things to do. We will be visiting again.

Brilliant place to go with children, stunning beach, great pool, awesome sauna.

Horrible service, we came with family with one year old baby, they said we could reserve the day of our arrival for breakfast. When we came we asked and it was full. Also important to say near the place you don’t have any place to have breakfast in the morning. As well we came they give as the cart and nobody from the reception was coming to show as in which building we are. Also some people they could not find where they stay and they was knocking our door at 21:00 when baby was sleeping. Service very bad. Pitty because it is a very beautiful place.
