Truly an amazing place! I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come again. The main event is the hiking trails with breathtaking views. Truly an eastern free state gem. The chalets are also very neat and clean.

A worthy spot to spend time here. We enjoyed the short walk to the spruit, the heavy undergrowth provided much appreciated shade .

Beautiful moderate trail that is well worth it. Holkrans is just jaw dropping beautiful. Most of the trail is in the shade so the heat doesn't bother you. There was some rain the previous 2 days so we needed shoes that can go through the river without taking them off to reach the chain ladder and to cross the streams from time to time. Little bit of a dirt road to get there but it was in a good condition.

What an amazing place!!! A hidden gem shown to me by my Dad. I love it. Our visit was far too short. It's itching in me to return... but I'll do so for longer. Spend a few nights and enjoy the area thoroughly. Excited to return.

One of Fouriesburg's hidden jewels! Lovely, fully catered chalets next to a river gorge and mountains that will take the avid hiker's breath away!

Awesome place! Absolutely submerged in nature and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the bird wildlife right at our unit. Hikes are awesome and can see the foundation from way back when still present which is very nice. There are fireplaces in most units and perfect for a getaway. The only downside was the chopping down of some very very old trees but besides that absolute perfect nature experience.

Fantastic one night camping at Meiringskloof Nature Park. Awesome nature hikes and scenery all over. Really great and clean ablutions and a refreshing and much needed swimming pool. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely for camping, some loud music made it a bit uncomfortable but the campong facilities and ablutions are clean and neat. Noise might be an issue but beautiful scenery nonetheless

I spend the long weekend (3 days) with my two boys there camping in tents. This is definitely the place to go to for adventure and exploring nature and just doing boys stuff. Got them off the tablets the whole time there. Just so many things to do. Everything works great and with load shedding the staff had lights in the bathroom. The parth ways are very nice sometimes little scary for the kids with climbing the ladder up the cliff but they manage with some encouragement to do it. They had so much fun with exploring the water tunnels and we spend hours there. Thanks the to everyone there for making it a great weekend. This is a must for family to spend quality time with the each other in nature.

Fantastic trails, pools, caves and water falls. Perfect day hike.

Absolutely beautiful. No litter and beautiful scenery. We climbed the chain ladder which was a test of strength and resolve. We walked on to the water tunnels and back the shorter route which was actually quite strenuous. It all took about 3 hrs. Go prepared with water and snacks. The next night our hosts took us back in a 4x4 for a sunset picnic. It didn't disappoint.

Best hike by far in the clarens area. The front lady was friendly. The hikes were magically beautiful. The scenery changes were amazing. This hike was absolutely worth every moment.

The amazing secret water tunnels are found at Meiringskloof. The map handed to visitors directs visitors to the start of the tunnels. The trick is to push on and the amazing journey begins!
