What a great experience. Love the place and atmosphere. Just such a great vibe. Food is excellent and the whole Clarens feel comes to life. Really awesome service and one feels like not leaving. The view is out of this world and the se rounding activities keeps the kids entertained while this becomes the base. A juwel in Clarens. I will be back again and again.

We went to Amigos for Breakfast and found the Waiters, view and atmosphere awesome. Unfortunately the food took very long to prepare and when our platter arrived half the food on the platter was Cold and other items on the platter was left off. Live music and atmosphere was great though. We Returned again & Thought that maybe it was just a busy day and deserved a 2nd Chance. Unfortunately - we left before getting our food as it took so long & the Waiter this time (Female) was Clueless as what serving and Customer Service is

If you’re expecting Mexican, expect to be disappointed. Please read other reviews carefully for the experience to judge for yourself. Ever heard of a Mexican place that doesn’t serve margaritas? Now you have. Ever had nachos with sweet chilli Doritos instead of tortilla chips? Now you have. Ever had a chicken taco made with chicken curry or a vegetable taco made with spinach? Now you have. Take a look at the pic of “Chef Specialities” (that is the whole list) and your expectations for this “Mexican” restaurant will be set appropriately. The service was not the best and the live musician couldn’t carry a tune. Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV).

We were there on a Friday public holiday for lunch, and we were one of only 2 tables. No atmosphere at all - no music playing, let alone live music. Food was tasty, but portions are small and fairly pricey. Place looks a little run down. Rather go to one of the many places around the square.

Ordered takeaways from their newly published menu on delivery. Quick delivery of freshly made, deliciously fragrant food. Portion sizes were man sized. The food smelled so wonderful that we tucked in immediately without even thinking about taking pics. Thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed this feast.

It's a very nice place with nice food, but there was only 1 waiter doing everything and most of the dishes on the menu wasn't available.

Nice view. The steak was good. We enjoyed it. The only downside was when we got there, chef was not available yet and had to come back. The place was recommended and therefore we wanted to try it out..

Worst experience ever. Food is absolutely bad bad bad. I would love to give them a zero rating. Please do not go there. Wastage of money and time. Please see the picture. We left all the food on the table.

Such a disappointing experience. The minute you walk in you can tell that it is poorly run. The food was completely horrible. I don't recommend ordering the wings..the service was also quite slow and the whole ambience is so incredibly off. It sucks when you see a place that has potential but no one that works there seems to care. Please try another place rather.
