I’ve just received two pairs back from Llanberis Resoles and the quality of the resole is 👌 Wasn’t the cheapest out there but well worth it for the workmanship as you get a good as new pair of shoes for your money. As a La Sportiva official resoler they have the La Sportiva rubber which is great especially for the No Edge shoes. Recommend!!

Fantastic service, got my shoes back in ~1/2 of the time given on the website. The resole looks and feels fantastic. The shoes feel like brand new. Definitely worth it. Will be sending my shoes back in the future.

I've had a few different types of shoes resoled here over the years and have used other companies. Torquil's resoles are always the best and the turn around time is always in line with whats predicted on their website, if not sooner. Shoes come back feeling super sticky, and climb like a worn in pair of brand new shoes. I emailed with a special request and it was fulfilled exceptionally quickly to an amazingly high standard. I won't use any other resole company. Thank you!

Recently had a pair of La Sportiva Finales resoled by Torquil and the Team at Llanberis Resoles. Really pleased with the end result. My Finales look, feel and perform as if they're brand new (if not better than brand new). I nearly retired the shoes as they looked beyond repair but these guys worked their magic and they were back on the walls as of last week. Just had my VERY worn climbing shoes resoled and the rand repaired at the same time. Pleased to say that the turnaround was very quick and my shoes are now as grippy as new again (with the added bonus of not having to wear them in again). Thank you!

I must have had ten resoles from Torquil and every pair has felt perfect when returned. This has been all on reasonably technical shoes with a separate toe piece of rubber rather than one piece the length of the shoe (Scarpa and Sportiva), but then that also makes it harder to get a good fit after a sole. And every pair I’ve had has been spot on. Not quite as tight a fit as a brand new pair, but after a climb they just feel like a perfectly broken in pair of shoes, assuming of course they were perfectly broken in to start with! My resoled Solution Comp’s feel the same as just broken in new pair and you can’t say fairer than that. The hardest bit is convincing more friends to get their shoes resoled here rather than just buying new!
