Hosted a dinner for group of friends. Good buffet spread. Good food. Service was excellent with very cooperative staff including the management. Rashid served our table very diligently. Duty manager and F&B mangers went out of their way to accommodate our requests.

Novotels can never be horrible😊 In every hotel that I have stayed in, I've always asked for iron but never got it. Gladly my room has one without having to ask for it 😁 Rooms are clean, the staffs are warm and friendly, all facilities are working and are all up to the mark. Regarding the food, it doesn't correspond to my taste buds that much. Overall experience is good 😊

We had a family gathering and the food and service was excellent. The attention to details was amazing. Easily one of the best Biriyani we've eaten in a Star Hotel, if not the best. Post Pandemic Standards have gone down a bit, however that is the case with the entire hospitality industry. The rooms were clean however there was a peculiar smell in the room and elevator. Food was good but could have been better, specially the North Indian delicacies need to be refined. The best part of the entire stay was the staff, really courteous and supportive, specially the restaurant staff, Divya and other staff at the restaurant gave best of their service. Sorry couldn’t get the name of the other team members.

Came with my family to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience with great hospitality by one of their staffs named Riya. Very friendly staffs, cool ambience and great food (we opted for the buffet).

Views from the room are lovely. Just wait till evening and Guwahati will be all cloudy with mountain views. Try to opt for 8th floor rooms- Good views there. Pool was not functional at that time, but Hotel offered a great apology with good gestures. Thankful that my parents Anniversary were not ruined. Food was Delicious. We tried Dinner and breakfast. Dinner had good Assamese dishes, something new for us. Breakfast was decent enough for us. Everyone in Guwahati is humble and cheerful and I found the same here as well. Everyone was greeting us like a family asking about dinner and health. Thank you. We had a decent stay.

Stayed for one night, and the stay was great. Food quality was super, hygiene, cleanliness, and hospitality - everything was great. But, service was a little slow I would say. It took me three hours and a few phone calls to get an extra pair of bathroom slippers. Also, after I checked out and was about to exit the premises, they stopped the car and had me clear one bill, which I was told was not posted by the restaurant. Two small incidents, I would say, but takes a lot away from what otherwise would have been a perfect stay because the folks at the restaurant were super, breakfast and ird service were both exceptional and I enjoyed the vibe at the bar too.

We had a family birthday evening buffet at Square restaurant. We loved the service by Dipika, Riya, & Saswati, Chef Joshi & Mr. Arun Shukla. We enjoyed every care we received throughout our evening meal and also the surprise birthday cake for our two family members. We love this place and always will come back.

Me and my wife stayed there for 3 weeks. It was really a pleasant stay. The room was good. Location is also good, close to INOX, restaurants, bar. The staff were well behaved and helpful, specially Saswati, Ria and others in the dining. Highly recommended to stay.

Had recently stayed here and due to some reason or the other had left behind important medical documents in the room . A big thank you to Ganesh from housekeeping and Vishnu Singh and his team for keeping the documents safe and promptly sending it through courier to my hometown. I don't think so this is a 5 star hotel. This hotel like 3 star, bcoz I am attending a conference at ground zero floor and seeing that toilet is not cleaned also hand dryer is not working. Some male Staff attitude also not like a 5 star hotel. When I am going for dinner that time dishes also not available on table. After that I'm requesting then they are provided.

Needs more professional management though the hotel looks classy and is big and has a large outdoor Bar,pool,dining space it needs to be managed better. Food quality is ok but very small portions are served and the staff are mostly young and inexperienced. The spa is small but not bad but can be improved.

Extremely disappointed with the stay at the hotel this time. A regular customer of the hotel and world over that of Accor Group of Hotels, this time the housekeeping and the front desk was at its worst. Three key issues to highlight: - I had confirmed a request for an early check in at the hotel and was made to wait for a room that had much of its bulbs either fused or electric wiring an issue - Worst, my room that did not have an ironing board, I had requested the housekeeping staff for one. They did get me one afterwards. To my horror at the checkout, I was accused by the front desk staff that I have broken the table. I was completely aghast and taken aback at this. I requested that to check their facts and the CCTV footage. Nevertheless it was later corroborated by the housekeeping team who called me to profusely apologise about a communication gap where the guest staying before me had admitted that he had infact damaged the table. Is this an experience that a regular customer deserves? Very disappointed.

I have not stayed in Novotel as I am a Guwahatian. But attended many conferences. Hospitality is good. Food now a days are very delicious. Buffet are in front of the conference hall is a bit small. Difficult for too many people together.

Bansu and Deepika have taken care of us and served us with a lot of love and care during our dinner buffet and breakfast. Food was really good And rooms are cozy. Location of the hotel is convenient for shopping and to travel out of the city. I will definitely come back and stay here the next time am in Guwahati.

It's an easy one hour approx drive from the airport. People at the reception will help you not only in getting the best room but also planning your next day. Breakfast spread is really good with majority healthy options. Staff is very courteous. Saswati was so helpful and friendly with my kid too. Value for money.

Dipika Bansu and Shrijana were amazing hosts in the dining room. We got excellent service and they even brought a cake for my Aunt 's birthday. The food in the buffet was well prepared and very tasty. The cake was eggless and sugar free but tasted like a regular cake The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. They have electronic "do not disturb" and early housekeeping buttons. I loved the mattress which was heavenly comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Room were clean and well maintain. Every room should be provided with a pack of tissues and adequate toilet rolls. The Accor key did not work for us, it needs updating and reliable to use. Otherwise a great place to stay in Guwahati. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent housekeeping services by Mr hesakai and khelashree and Suresh and Smita. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. They cleaned the room thoroughly, changed the sheets and towels, and replenished the amenities. The room smelled fresh and looked spotless. I appreciated the attention to detail and the care they took to make my stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who values cleanliness and quality.

The rooms, hygiene, ambience everything of the hotel is good. Highly unimpressed with one staff at the lobby. The lean guy who carries the luggage in after the checking. He is very rude and disrespectful. Spoiled my mood for quite sometime with his behaviour.

It's a nice hotel with cozy, clean rooms although the outside view from the room is not very appealing/special. The location is good considering it is inside the city for people who love staying in the heart of the city. The entry/exit point to the hotel is bit cramped as it is just next to the main road. There is no green belt in the hotel campus. Next time I will only stay here for 1-2 days max mainly for official visits only as with family I prefer to stay in a hotel with open space/green belt.

The hotel was well maintained. Had Sunday lunch buffet. It was ok taste wise. The spread especially non vegetarian was very limited. Reducing one star for this. Breakfast buffet was really nice. They had a good variety of continental and Indian options. I also wanted to appreciate and thank Deepti from F&B service for her great hospitality and taking good care of my kid. She went out of her way to accommodate our special needs.

I did not stay there. I used the lobby while waiting for my colleague. This is where the staff behind the 2 desks at the reception need to understand the meaning of a "customer." They had no regard for people in the lobby who were waiting for the in-house guests. All the gentlemen in suit were talking at the top of their voices when the in-house guests were not there and one gentleman was yawning at the top of his voice. Very surprising and shocking experience from a 5 star hotel. Staff at Lily, Royal decasa and Palacio have better manners. This feedback is from a month back.

Had gone to attend a business meeting. Courteous staff. Well mapped, and all places inside the hotel are well indicated by arrows. Food wasn't bad either, but it was very ordinary, no wow factor. But, their cookies are a class apart. Faced only one issue - the absence of network once I entered the hotel. However, that cannot really be attributed to the hotel's fault. Good experience, overall.

Very satisfied with Super clean room (needed after all the dust and vibrations of car ride around town). It's like a different world in the hotel, very relaxing. Had food for breakfast and dinner buffet. Had all the veg items to try.. All were good or very good! Veg desserts were very satisfying as well. Staff such as Neha at the restaurant made the experience even better. Very attentive and courteous staff thought the hotel. This all made up for the pool that was under maintenance. Will definitely come back here.

The hotel is located within the city center, rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff are excellent and the food is delicious. The dessert spread is huge and very tasty. I would definitely have given a 5 🌟 but for the food prices which was very high.

Nice and decent place to stay. Spacious rooms and decent service. The entry to the facility is a bit tricky though. Cabbies prefer to park on the highway. Overall, value for money. The lobby could have been a little spacious to accommodate a larger number of guests, when the rooms are mostly booked.

Very unprofessional. 2 days back, I called these guys to confirm whether they serve lunch buffet or not. The staff (over the phone) said "Yes, we serve lunch buffet. The timing is 12:30 - 2:30. Reservation not needed. Please come". So my parents and I planned accordingly, travelled a long distance and reached Novotel. We entered the restaurant, made ourselves comfortable and asked about the lunch buffet. The staff said "We do not serve lunch buffet, we only serve dinner buffet". Is this what you call a 5-star hotel?? If yes, then I would rather prefer the mid-size restaurants as they are far more professional. Suggestion: Gear up your professional standards please.

The property is fine, the rooms are much smaller in size than expected. Located in the middle of the main market, it has access to various other eateries as well. The food is above average but the service is great. There is a room for improvement in the breakfast menu. Ms. Dipika & Ms. Saraswati were of great help & catered to our needs.

Location is good. In the middle of an commercial area but still quiet. Though check in took some time but overall the service level was quite good and satisfying. Hotel staff are generally very friendly and display good sense of hospitality. Overall had a satisfying experience.

Mr Nakul from housekeeping gave very good service in terms from providing coffee,tea sachets to proper on time cleaning of room. He appears to be very enthusiastic person and is always willing yo help customers at first. God bless him and promote him in his further duties.

We had a positive experience at Hotel Novotel Guwahati, Assam! The housekeeping staff, especially Mr. Vivek, went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The helpfulness of all the staffs made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
