My so called relationship manager was Mr. Utpal Chakraborty. If you want to have any celebration in Hotel Lily, please go through all the one star reviews as everything mentioned is true and I have experienced that myself. I went ahead with my decision to book this hotel by trusting the big talks of this person . But it nowhere met any expectations. What I have experienced throughout and realised later is that this person is a fraud. There were several lies and over promises that were not met. Bear with me as the list is long. We were told that - 1. There is no policy of bringing decorators from outside. But my friend brought their own decorators just few months back. The difference is they went through another relationship manager (a lady). 2. The relationship manager tells the above blatant lie on the face for commission that he receives from the decorator. 3. The decorator too is an over promiser expensive person, however, I don’t want to comment much on him as he was still polite and accepted his mistakes (he didn’t do the decoration as was discussed and he forgot to bring the garland on time!) 4. We were told that the ventilation in the hall is so good that there are no chances of smoke. But ofcourse on the wedding day we experienced the opposite. 5. The food was not served hot towards later part of the function (which again was promised and not delivered). We couldn’t do much because he was not there in the night shift. 6. Before the event, he never made any calls from his side to ask anything related to the event, except money. All he ever discussed was - “Ma’am next advance kitia dibo? Ma’am advance dibo lagisil nohoi. Ma’am aru olop advance diok.” 7. We cleared the entire amount for the event even before the event started. We also took two rooms. And we paid the entire amount for the two rooms that day itself. The next morning when our family was checking out, they again asked for the money. My family clearly mentioned that the amount has been paid already but they refused to believe (when we asked for the receipt the previous day, they said that they can give it while checking out in the morning). We had to wait till they finally coordinated amongst themselves. 8. Plate system buffet? Be careful. They hide the plates. Seen and confronted by us. But ofcourse they do not accept. 9. The first day we met Mr. Chakraborty, we asked him if it is okay to have Assamese wedding till 2/3 in the morning (since it was in 2021 covid time). A week before the wedding when we went to give him the last amount, he said that everything needs to be wrapped up by 9 PM latest. Can you believe the stress we went through? We had to rearrange everything again from last min calls to guests, to convincing the priest and what not. This was not because of government restrictions, but till today we are not sure why he did the last minute change. So if you want a hassle free experience for your big day, please do not come to Lily. You do not want to feel mentally harassed on your big day.

Staying at this hotel turned out to be a complete nightmare, and it was a mistake on my part to book it. One should never rely solely on website photographs. The service was incredibly poor, starting with the room infested with mosquitoes upon check-in. Despite requesting mosquito repellent, the housekeeping staff claimed they didn't have any. Left with no choice, we asked them to purchase some from the market, willing to pay for it. After an hour, they finally brought one, but in the meantime, they started spraying Hit spray in the room, leaving us suffocated and desperate to leave. Since the room lacked a fan, the smell lingered for a long time. Adding to our ordeal, the hotel's approach to serving drinking water was equally abysmal. Initially, they provided two small bottles of water, and when we asked for more, the housekeeping staff returned with a single bottle, claiming it was the only available option. I specifically inquired about the water's drinkability due to the previous experiences, to which she assured us that they all drink the same water. However, when I took a sip, it tasted awful, and upon inspecting the bottle more closely, I discovered dirt and algae-like substances floating inside. Confronting the housekeeping staff, she had the audacity to insist it was just a layer of water. In response, we called the manager, but to our surprise, two individuals arrived and acknowledged the poor water quality, admitting that the bottle they gave us had not been used in ages. Unfortunately, no solution was provided as one recently joined manager seemed clueless about the situation. My advice is to completely avoid this hotel if you want to avoid falling ill, and please inform your friends as well. Worst would be an understatement. I wanted to upload the photos and videos of the water serves to us .

Be Careful with the bald guy at reception. He is a perfect thief. You will pay 10k, he will say its 8k there, i have cctv footage of his deeds. Worst exp in a hotel. Moreover the building is cracked in lot of places, very risky in earthquakes. Food is good n average. Overall experience would have been a 4-4.5 stat but the money stealing thing makes me review it as 1star

Wonderful Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was impressed by the elegant decor and friendly staff. The room was spacious, and clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel also has great facilities, including a gym, pool, and spa. The location is excellent, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. I highly recommend Wonderful Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

Avoid them like the Plague. They are thugs. The Sales Rep “Utpal Chakravarthy” with his well trained front desk staff duped us by 4 digit figures. We made a corporate booking with a pre agreed tariff rate, but were charged the full enlisted price upon checkout. When contacting the Sales rep he fled the situation by avoiding our calls. They also overpromised for the rooms and gave us a Premier sized room while charging us for a Premier Club room. They are a mafia operating in plain site. Utterly disappointed by the abysmal behaviour of everyone involved in the scam. Facilities are under par at best. We had guests from out of country/state and this is how Lily represents our state in front of the world. They deserve to go out of business. No comparison with the nearby Vivanta which is rated 5*, while this thug-hole rates themselves 4*. 1 star is for the lobby busboys who are polite.

A true 5 star experience! Everything was clean, staff was extremely well trained, room service was great. Rooms were big, and comfortable. Bathroom was nicely maintained, had a shower and a bathtub, with lots of other amenities. The hotel had a nice pool with an amazing view among other facilities. The food was nice, and breakfast buffet had plenty of options to choose from. I have nothing bad to say. . ..

We had an anniversary celebration on 9th May 2023. The manager very cunningly charged us for the decoration and music at a very higher rate we couldn't do anything as we had very less time and had already book the hotel with half of the amount. So, we had no choice but to pay. But the food disappointed the most after being charged 1200/plate. The taste of it was nowhere what we had expected, every guest complained about it. So, we had this very bad experience and i would not recommend this hotel because there are many hotels in guwahati providing much better service.

The worst and badly managed hotel ever I have stayed in my business trips . Rate room is 8400/- plus tax. Inexperience people . Doesn’t know how to talk . Dirty rooms . I don’t think that dusting has been done ever in rooms .there was big lay of dust on phone 😇.Food worst . Room people doesn’t understand neither Hindi nor English . Horrible Experience.avoid staying here . I had booked for three days . I am cancelling for rest of two days .

Very good place for a lovely experience. You can visit with your family, friends or your love one and have great time there. Breakfast buffet has great variety and you'll love it. They also have coffee counter and dinner and lunch options available. The behaviour of the staffs were very good and cooperative. I definitely recommend you to stay. Worth the money spent. 👍♥️

The staff is a but slow, but the hotel is really good. Gives a good vibe. Pool was not clean and free to use and they do offer a variety of services (chargeable) for spa and saloon. Room service is good and the restaurant also serves tasty food (Veg). If you are looking for budget stay (stay away) but if a little luxury you look for, go for it. Also it is close to market and various other entertainment avenues and malls. You can not bring outside food or beverage as per hotel policy (but can hide it in your bags and get away with it). The mini bar is quite expensive.

Very good location right beside the G S Road. Food quality and taste is very good. Some rooms require little attention. Rooftop pool and the surrounding area is very good place to laze around especially in the evening.

We stayed at this place in January 2023. While the hotel looks amazing from the outside and lobby is great, it is a shaddy not so clean place from inside. The room rent they are charging for the facilities they are providing is exorbitant. Unclean carpets, rooms with not much facilities and not so polite staffs. For this price they should give at least 4star experience but what they provide is hardly 2star. Not recommended at all. Stay away from this place.

Located in a decent place. No rush no noisy from outside. Good service. Gym and Spa Mini Bar Beautiful view from top, i was in 6th floor. Swimming pool need to clean up ASAP. I don't know why most of the Indian Hotels still use local cables with limited channels and bad services.🙄 I had over all a good service here🙂

The Location is immaculate and approachable from all directions.Rooms are Clean and Kept well. All amenities available in the rooms,Toiletries kettle Fridge etc. Service is Good....Only response time has to improve a bit. Staff are courteous well,behaved,soft spoken and ready to help. Food is Good aTat Bit Expensive.....but for the Quality it balances out well. The views are extraordinary specially if your are on the 10th Floor.... Amazing Views... Highly Recommended!!!

Went there for a brief time to attend a conference. But spent sometime in the coffee shop/restaurant. They took quite a long time to serve us. We actually had to keep asking for our orders. The sandwich was very good though. But the coffee was very bitter.

Overall a very good choice for Guwahati for business travel. Rooms are clean and the restaurant has international dishes. There is also a bar with a variety of snacks and beverages. The hotel is a 30-40 minutes car ride away from tourist sites.

A fabulous ambience with the great taste of Pizza, Fast Food & Burgers no other Restaurant match the decorum of DEVOUR. Services are best in the town in term of hospitality $ Staff Behavior. Pathetic service ever!! No one should stay here. This one review is good to take action of not booking it. They charged 4500 extra for mini bar usage which I did not use. Staff is not supportive. They abuse in front of you. They blame there management. If owner is looking at this review (which I am sure he will not) - your staff is pathetic & service is worst.

Wonderful hotel with great ambiance. Room are very specious and neat and clean. Swimming pool is very nice. Food quality is very good and the hotel is having a wide choice of variety in breakfast.

Rooms are below par and not clean. The AC vents are all coming apart. Request for change of room falls on deaf ears and the reception people are absolutely unimpressive.

We attended a wedding on 3 May 2022. The hotel is big and beautiful. The staffs were humble and good they respected us just like if we are the elders. In the wedding the foods were good quality . Their were plenty of dishes to try out. And each dishes were different and looked delicious to try out . Overall its one of the best ! If you are thinking to plan your wedding in a hotel then you must check The Lily Hotel. You won't regret .

Called the number given on the site during their working hours to enquire about their banquet hall. They transferred the call to a sales person. The sales person was least bothered to talk. He was busy with a kid and said Drop a Hi msg in WhatsApp. Was very rude while talking and wasn’t responding to any of my queries. Guwahati with so many options available, a behaviour like this from the Sales person would definitely take Lily down. You need to train your staff members as telephone is your first point to convert a lead into customer.

Food is awesome, specially paneer achari.. really unique and nice taste.. the ambience and service all good..

the rates of this hotel are comparable or more than others in the area like the Novotel. But there is absolutely no maintenance, here are specifics 1. the carpets in the corridors stink and probably never been cleaned since the hotel opened 8-9 years back. 2. the pillows have a white cover but if you see underneath you will find spots and stains, likely sweat and saliva stains from other guests. don't think the pillows have been changed in the last 8 years. 3. we had booked an extra bed, the blankets that came with the extra bed too had stink of sweat. 4. the hotel is centrally air-conditioned but yet there were mosquitos in the room! 5. lots of patches, stains in the bathroom. it was clean but not worthy at the price point. 6. I fell wick right after I came back from this hotel, and I suspect something I caught from the dirty pillows or the blanket. 7. it's a wonder health authorities allow this place to run

Stayed at The Lilly hotel in April month. The hotel is average property. Guest services are poor. The swimming pool is dysfunctional and gym is in bad state. Food takes a very long time when ordered and its the staff who are not interested in hospitality. The spa at fourth floor experience was sad. I pre booked the spa service and when reached the spa they said they have offered to some other guest and so unable to provide services. Basically poor guest service.

My stay the Lily Hotel in Guwahati was truly an amazing one! Their hospitality was quite outstanding starting from time of my arrival at reception. I subsequently sampled an array of sumptuous dishes in Foo Yung their inhouse all day dining multi-cuisine restaurant. One particular gentleman who stood out at the restaurant was Mainuddin Ahmed who provided excellent waiting service to me. He was polite, well-spoken and extremely patient explaining with a smile, whatever I wanted to know about the dishes. The Lily hotel feels like a second home away from home and will highly recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Guwahati in the nearest future. Ike (London)

Great experience in our recent visit to Guwahati. This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located on a main road with easy access to the rest of the city and to drive to other towns in the north east. The amenities were luxurious, and the staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of items from cornflakes to idli, dosas, momo, poha, cappuccino, masala chai and many other items. We ate well! The hotel has a great spa and swimming pool too. We enjoyed our time there thoroughly and will definitely visit again. Tip: Ample parking is available at the hotel premises.

I have been to many hotels and had some of tge best experience. But in my recent visit on 01/10-03/10 in this hotel, the staff was so ill behaved, specially to mention Rupak Chakraborty in the reception area. He is so miss behaved and ill mannered that I am surprised how a hotel like Lily can put him in the reception manager. Even thou my stay was ok but his behaviour was the worst I have ever experienced in my entire tenure if staying in luxury hotels. Its high time for the management to conduct some serious training on hospitality

This is a decent place with above average food! The rooms are very neatly maintained and the Bar is good too. The breakfast buffet option that they had was good. So had a nice time there!

Had a really BAD experience the moment me & my husband entered the hotel. The Receptionists were not at all helpful, the room we were allotted was not up to the mark, the first room we were given was 1003 the side drawer was broken and there was no complementary snacks at all, then when we asked for another room we were given room 1010, here there is only one chair available the other was a roller chair which was torn, the toilet seat was shaky, though we check in as double there was only one toothbrush, when we told the receptionists the next day their reply was "Why didn't You call"😡, isn't it the receptionists job to inform the Housekeeping to give extra toothbrush, or atleast talk to the GUEST courteously, they seem to be judging the walk-in guest very rudely. The Receptionists should be send for training first on how to behave with any guest. The only nice thing is that the Valet & Waiters were polite, 5 stars for their service only. But never gonna stay in THIS hotel again and will never Recommend to family and friends
