Fantastic crinkle cut chips, crunchy on the outside fluffy on the inside, tasty potatoe scallops, delicious chicken kebab sticks. Service was fast and friendly.

Most of the serving staff are very young, but very well trained. Undoubtedly, the most well-organised take away shop I have ever seen. I don't rate their kranskies or their fish & chips too highly, but they have an excellent range of lovely salads. Charcoal chicken is in the name and, without doubt, this is the finest barbecue chicken I've ever had and consistently great.

Been a long time since I've been to Charny, burger 3/10 . Close to no bacon, back end of the tomato, meat taste weird . Chips are awesome still but the gravy had not 1 bit of taste at all . Then can't use key card Is a joke and no doubt dodging tax 🤣🤣🤣

Ordered some chips ,spring rolls and a bettered sav. As expected I had to wait 5/10 minutes but what I didn't expect was to be waiting on only fresh chips everything else was pre cooked behind the window (witch is sometimes OK) but upon eating I found the spring rolls and sav to be next to cold and unpleasant. Moral of this story if your customer has to wait for something to be cooked fresh, cook the whole meal fresh there wait time will be the same and they will be much happier with hot food !

I love their foods and services. I ordered pizza without cheese due to my girls allergy, but there was miscomunication so I got one with cheese. Even though they were so busy at dinner time, they tried their best and made our family happy :)

We recently came to Canberra from Brisbane and we had dinner here twice and it was the best chicken and chips we’ve ever eaten. The chickens are a good size and great flavour and the serving of chips was very generous and service was friendly 10/10

Always good value for money. Partner loves the Super Supreme pizza and child loves the Cheesy pizza. The large pizza is generous and lasts two meals.

This is one of the takeaways closest to where I live, but even if it wasn’t, I’d still make the journey! Pizzas are fantastic, the BBQ chickens are unbeatable. Crinkle cut hot chips are delicious (potato shortages can affect the chips but usually they’re fantastic). Good, fast service. Great food. Good value!

Potato scallops that are old school with batter... delicious. Kids devour them after sport. Great salads. A real old school fish & chip shop.

I ventured north to Charnwood on the advice of a friend to try the potato scallops from the Regal Charcoal Chicken shop. I was told to ask for freshly cooked potato scallops rather than getting them from the warming cabinet. I asked for two potato scallops and two prawn cutlets. The potato scallops were really nice. The potato was fluffy but not overcooked. The batter was crispy and not too oily. Noe was the batter too salty. The prawn cutlets were also nicely crumbed and cooked. I'll be going back for more. I may try a battered sav next time.
