The team and Scissors and combs are so welcoming and friendly every single visit. I walk in with my hair in great need to attention and when I walk out, my hair colour is fresh and vibrant. The point of difference I find is I have naturally black hair, and Brooke and Angela are able to lift the colour of my hair to a beautiful light blonde every time without damaging my hair. My hair is long, blonde and healthy and their prices are so good for the Canberra market. I highly recommend the team at Scissors and comb if you want to get value for buck with a friendly personalised experience.

I've been going there for years and have always been happy with their work. All three stylists are friendly, professional and across the very latest innovations in hair care. The apprentices are attentive and hardworking. I can't recommend this salon enough.

This has to be the friendliest salon in Canberra, the team know everyone and the salon has a real community feel. Angela is awesome, she is thorough in consulting as to what you are wanting before and during your cut, and after ensuring you are happy with your cut/color. The product used (especially the deep heat treatment) smell amazing and well worth the extra time at the basin in the massage chair.

Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Walked in with curls, specifically said I didn’t want to lose much length. Debbie then proceeded to tell me my hair didn’t curl and give me the weirdest, most disconnected haircut with no way I can curl it. I asked for it to be dried with GHD curls and she said that was fine, then when she realised she’d cut it too short to curl she just said ‘let me mess with it’ and then told me she didn’t have time to dry and curl it. Realising it wasn’t what I wanted she offered to have me come back but no way am I letting her near my hair again, I’m going to have to get it cut short to undo this mess. Devastated.

The staff are really friendly, however that's where the service stops. I got a shampoo and didn't even get a head massage. Not a big deal but it would've added value. The hair cut itself was so terrible that I'm contemplating going elsewhere to get it fixed. I had to pay an extra $10 if I wanted it dried. (No styling just a dry) no products were used and top it all off she pulled someone else's hair out of a hairbrush and used in on me. I will never be going back.

Brooke did a great job on my hair, went from grey to blonde, now I Tie it back. Looking forward to my next appointment after lockdown. Thank you Brooke and the team at Scissor and comb.

I had the most amazing experience this afternoon. I had very long hair that Debbie cut very short for me. I showed her a picture and I got exactly the cut I asked for. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. Debbie & Angela were very attentive I highly recommend visiting the salon. Thank you for such a lovely experience.
