Pub style food & atmosphere with a touch of class. Good quality, tasty food, massive serving sizes and super friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for. Ordered Angus sirloin steak (could've been for 2 ppl), pesto pasta, cauliflower popcorn and a caramel milkshake. Was so much food for 2ppl, so we had a whole meal & half to take home 😅 at just over $70, was well worth it 💖 Would definitely be coming back!

So relaxed, so friendly. Staff were great atmosphere great service fast and friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Many beers on taps. Classic pub menu. Flathead and chips was excellent, crunchy batter, delicious tartar sauce. Chicken party was huge, chicken was moist topping well grilled.

Went for a Sunday lunch with friends and the vibe and decor is cool and the staff are friendly. We ordered fried chicken burgers, which were barely battered and seemed more like the grilled piece if chicken with a sprinkle of crumb. We ordered the popcorn chicken which also was more like small tender chicken not crunchy or popcorn style. We ordered the squid which was a bit rubbery and tasteless. We also ordered the chicken schnitzel which was okay but a bit dry, needed additional sauce. For $150 for 4 adults I didn’t feel as though the food was good value for the quality. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anything special and didn’t really match the expectations of the menu.

Went for family dinner to celebrate granddaughters 21st. Great service meals delicious. Enjoyed everything. Girl who served us did a great job. Thank you.

Bar staff friendly. I ordered a steak . Average. Meals too expensive . Average taste & the other people ordered the steak burger special for $30 . Very plain. Our cocktails 🍸 came to the table with 3cm missing from the classes . Maybe the happy hour might be better. Live music was Fabulous.

Fun times on ‘Sing for your supper’ Tuesday! I took the family to Casey Jone’s for Burger Night and was pleasantly surprised by the home grown entertainment. A really, great community initiative of engaging locals with musical talents to get up on stage and entertain the crowd. Now I’m sure there are other places who do something similar yet I was feeling the good positive vibes last night and it was wonderful. The burgers were delicious 🤤 Philly cheesesteak was da-vine and the gravy fries so tasty. My only comment is in relation to the kids burgers and their sizes. I bought one for my 3 year old and she had more fun poking it with the toothpick than eating it. It would be great to have smaller sized burgers or even burger sliders for the little’un’s. Loved eating there and it’s great to see the crowds back.

This used to be the best place, overall food was great, staff were friendly and coffee was the best! Recently that has all changed. Coffee was burnt to a crisp. Tried adding more sugar however in the end its undrinkable. Food came out quickly but lukewarm. My partner couldnt finish his burger due to the meat patty being rock hard and overworked. We love supporting local family run businesses however unfortunately staff may need more training. Would love to see this place returned to the amazing place it used to be.

The food doesn't always taste the same, I find their schnitzel very oily, their prawn pasta is very yummy though last time it had too many tomatoes and too much oil. Their old pork belly was amazing but last time I had it it wasn't the best . The guys at the bar a pretty friendly but I've had issues with some their floor staff being just plain sour, unfriendly and getting the vibe that they're just there because they have to but not because they enjoy their job. We have given them my chances but we'll see if another might change things around.

Super friendly service, very accommodating. Didn't have a booking on a Friday lunch time and the guy that greeted us at the door couldn't have been nicer. We had our little daughter with us and she was given a colouring in book without us even asking, that's what you want from an establishment. Food came out super quick, was hot and delicious. Next time I get the sliders I'll be getting a side of the special sauce, was really well done! Popcorn chicken, sweet potato wedges and calamari was all great. Beers are ice cold and my wife's mocktail was sensational. Highly recommend and will take anyone visiting here.

Great food and awesome deserts! There are new owners, unfortunately for them they took over just as Covid hit and have been doing it hard but after speaking to one of them they are determined to provide great quality, try new things and focus on customer service! My recent visit was outstanding for the quality and price and I'll be back soon. They are even about to launch a dog friendly menu 😀

Went for dinner, meals were bland and tasteless. No salt and pepper on any of the table or booths. Multiple levels to sit at. Can book online as the phones are a hit/miss. Persons that have problems with stairs will have issues when trying to order from the bar if your located in the down stairs area. Double beef burger was bland, the chips were average, nothing special. Vegetarian pizza had no seasoning at all & next to no toppings. Salt & Pepper Squid, missing both salt & pepper and the batter was tasteless. Chicken schnitzel was way over cooked, very thin and not worth the cost for something that small. Staff were pleasant to talk to, but that's as far as it goes. Not many tables inside with actual chairs. Problematic for persons with a limb difference or physical disability.

Bar and music are good, friendly staff. Food however had no flavour. Sticky bbq ribs had little to no flavour. The parmi was almost tasteless and two kids burgers that weren’t much better. It’s a lovely place but food could be of a better standard.

Great food that came quickly, great place to come with the family and kids. Food was super delicious, fresh, and different to any other place. With the kids menu they added dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets which was a fun touch as well as having colouring in pens and paper to entertain kids AND on top of that - kids eat for free Mondays!!! (Not sure about other days). Great choices on the menu, great prices, great serving sizes, and has a nice vibe. I had a great first time experience.

Casey Jones is our local pub and we're always looking forward to getting a drink and something to eat there. The staff is friendly and loving the decor. The food is great, but I have had better pub grub elsewhere.

They always have great meals and I'm happy to enjoy their cocktails, its great for families, but their new ordering system is a little flawed and had us trying to wave down staff constantly. Once the bugs are worked out, it will back to top notch.

Came for dinner, and even though there were lots of people, we still managed to get a table and food was still fast to arrive. Lots of options on the menu, and prices were quite reasonable. Food was tasty, enjoyable, and plentyful. The venue was well decorated, and staff were friendly and accommodating.

I've been to Casey Jones the last two times I visited Canberra. Both times I've enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It has a fun vibe and I love the decor. Plus, the menu provides something for everyone. As a vegetarian sometimes pub options are limited. I didn't find that here although a vegetarian nachos would be a great addition to the menu. I had the pesto salad as is but there is an option to add chicken. I loved it and my husband was happy with his sirloin. No doubt we will be back.

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. This place is my new local and I couldn't be happier. The trivia on Thursday nights is super fun.

The beer selection is great as is the atmosphere. So if you are just going for a chill session then this is a great place. But the reason for the 3 stars is that the $36 Angus steak which was supposed to be medium rare came out completely grey and tough. The other peoples burgers were good as were the parmas. I would go back for a beer and or a burger, but not for a steak.

Great for casual lunck

I love Casey Jones! I'm a semi regular customer and they know what my favourites are and are always accommodating, especially in the COVID-19 era. The atmosphere is great and they are always nice enough to let me spend a few minutes at one of the tables if I dine in even when I'm naughty and don't book ahead (remember, with COVID-19 the seating space is limited so it's not always easy to find a spot as a walk in). I also understand when they kick me out as I didn't book, lol! Now on to the food. The shantung pork bites are to die for and the schnitty is excellent! So are some of the pizzas - my favourite it the tribbiani (I think that's how it's seplled?). I'd rank the steak with mushroom sauce next. And the portions are very big. I don't think I've ever been able to finish a full meal!! Beer on tap is also good, it changes every so often so it's never boring. The Batch sour (I think it's called Pash the Magic Dragon?) is my favourite!

Visited today for lunch. 20/1/2021 My son’s birthday. Very disappointed. My friend and I go there a lot. After today we will give it a miss. Food was awful. Schnitzel was overcooked and tough.Fish and chips less than ordinary. Chips were half cooked then cooked again, as with schnitzel.Music was so loud we had to shout at each other. Though they turned it down when asked. As I said disappointing.

Great service. Great pub food. The place has two sections, one near the bar with big screen TV and another one a little bit more quiet. Their cherry cola wings and the blue cheese sauce is a magazine!
