It's a peaceful place. I loved it 🍃

It is a good place to go for a walk if you want yo stay near the city. Also there is a clear path all the way up but, unlike other mountains in the área, antennas disturb the landscape.

Great hike close to the city. One bus from downtown (114/115). Strenuous.

Use your own car to get there, public bus drops you far from it and there's dodgie neighborhood on the way to walk trough

I've seen reviews here that it's now safe to come by bus. I think it's actually safe. The bus is 300 or 302. You need to get off at the station before the last one. There are probably some cars, cyclists or just people around. The whole hike there were plenty of people around. The hike is not that difficult. Should be manageable for pretty much anyone.

Everyone seems to measure this hike in time which is so subjective. From the bus stop it's a 7.5 mile roundtrip . From the parking station(current cost 50 peso) it's five miles RT. Most on an access road but moderately strenuous but the views of the mountains are excellent, the view of the Mendoza smog, less so.
