The National Theatre looks more beautiful than the last time I was there. The renovation was right on time. Panamanian historical places should be priority as part of our culture. Renovation is key. I have enjoyed my time at the theater.

Nice place to see events. All seats are good. Some better than others. Get there on time for the show (30 min before) as trafic is a little heavy. And if you have balcony seats, come in early as they are open seats and you may end up seating apart. Streets are narrow and busy. Beautiful architecture and murals.

Love this building and its been loving restored. Leg room os a bit tight if your tall but seats are well positioned and visibility from almost any seat is good.

Small but beautiful. Great place to enjoy a good play. Great location, you can have a great cup of coffee or a nice drink before the play.

Beautiful THEATER. Seats 853. Built in 1907. Lovely Ceiling mural. Very plush surroundings. Main complaint: Website is in Spanish ONLY. It was very difficult for English only speakers to get a ticket but theater staff were very helpful. Worth the effort if staying in Casio Viejo!

Definitely the theater is just magical. It's just a different vibe. Time does not pass there. It's frozen in beautiful moments

National theater. Located in the Casco Viejo, Wao what a great job on all renovations. You enter the building and can feel the history. The latest renovations/ reconstructions and updates are overwhelming. Keep the past alive and update the rest. Built originally in 1673 Yes 1673, at that time it was a convent , and much later transformed to the theater witch took over 5 years to build. The frescos on the cupula that represent panamenian history are amazing, and well worth observing . A must when in the "casco viejo area" ( old panama) . And getting in a good show at the theater is good idea .

Went to see a fabulous Flamenco show last night. We were on the first floor of this beautifully refurbished old theatre and were in a sort of box, with very comfortable chairs and a great view!
