Went for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Waited a few minutes and were seated. We tried the brick oven pizza which was delicious, our server very pleasant. Dinner we ordered salads and pastas which were very large and delicious, topped off by tartufo for dessert. Plenty of parking, good location

Excellent Margherita pizza, best I've ever had! Don't hesitate to try their pasta dishes, my daughters favorite is their garlic & broccoli rigatoni with sundried tomatoes. Everyone who works there are helpful and kind, especially the girls in the back and the hostesses.

What a joke on the BOTTLE OF WATER. Upon ordering, we asked for water for the table, only two came. Shortly after, we informed the waitress and asked for the remaining water. The waitress brought the water to us in BOTTLES instead of the initial glass cup of tap water, and we immediately asked if these would be "EXTRA CHARGE". The waitress responded "no". When the bill finally came, they indeed CHARGED us for the BOTTLES OF WATER. When confronted, they said we asked for "bottles" which was 100% false. They ultimately and finally took back what was not touched and CHARGED us for the bottles that were opened. Please note that it's NOT the ~$5 for the bottles of water, it was the principle of things, it was the technique/method used to earn the extra dollar or two (I hope it was not purposely). I wish the staff would have resolved the situation better. We definitely felt cheated when leaving the restaurant. Not a happy customer

From a National pizza rater: amazing staff however the slices fall apart when you pick them up. Nothing wrong with the taste so I won't give only 1 Or 2 stars. Staff is very professional But you gotta make the crust stronger somehow

The only thing I can give a review on is service since I didn’t even have a chance to sit down and eat. I have never spoken badly about any restaurant, or went out of my way to write a bad review, but what I just encountered was atrocious. I went there tonight to inquire about a party and have some dinner. I walked in ask asked the gentleman behind the counter if there was anyone available to speak to about hosting a private party. He pointed over to an older guy in a white shirt. I walked over to him and he was on his cell phone so it took a minute to be acknowledged, which really wasn’t even a big deal to me but just to set the tone for how underwhelming busy they were. When he looked up I asked if I could get some information on a private party. He was noticeably aggravated that I’d have the audacity to ask and very rudely let me know that I shouldn’t have come in during dinner time, as to which I looked around and saw MAYBE two tables sitting down. It was 8PM on a Monday night and if you have enough free time to be on your phone I’d think you’d have some time to give me information on an event. I said “okay I’m sorry” and went to walk away, to which he shouted “what do you want” and I just continued to walk out the door with my husband and son. Even my husband, who usually is the first to tell me if I’m overreacting, was like “what was that all about?”. I won’t be giving them a penny, let alone stepping foot into that restaurant again. Literally the rudest experience I’ve ever had in my life with someone in the industry. Very disappointing since I received many recommendations for this place on the Long Island Foodies Facebook group.

They made a mistake slightly with an order, nothing out of the norm. Called em they happily spoke and resolved . They're great.. other places in the past hesitate and go into some obscure form of politics... over small change. Thus place has All my future business .

Have been here many times; my kids have worked here too! Garlic in any dish hits the right notes everytime. Elegant ambience. Attentive service. Great for small to mid-sized parties.

Sad by all accounts. The wood fired 12” pizzas were so stuck to the paper in the box you lost most of the toppings getting them out. When that did happen you had what tasted like one of those pre-made thin crusts from domino’s which is like a moist cracker. I don’t know how anything else there is but do yourself a favor and skip the wood fired pizzas. Which are my favorite type of pizzas from other places.

I just can't say enough about this local restaurant. The bartender is so sweet and always makes my drink exactly how I like it. My favorite dish is the muscles Rockefeller. No other restaurant I go to makes this!

We love their food, always good flavor, plenty of variety without going overboard. We’ve dined in, gotten takeout and delivery, but our favorite is to have family get together there. They have a small room that fits about 65 or so, and we’ve rented it for parties. Wonderful service and wonderful food at a great price. You have to try it ♥️👏🏻

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant!! We have been coming here for years and I have never eaten anything that I didn’t like. When a place uses quality ingredients you can just tell. It doesn’t matter if it’s just stopping in for a slice of pizza or a chicken roll or sitting down for an event in the back- everything is made with love. It actually started to become a joke in my family as for every occasion we would come here as we knew we would love the food and be treated with such amazing service. Recently I have had my birthday party catered from here and every single guest was astonished by the food. Tonight we just had my fathers birthday catered from here again and even though there was confusion on the order, we were treated like family. Thank you again to spuntinos. See you soon!!🤍🍽️

Worst service I've ever had and we never say that. We were sat for 15 minutes before anyone asked if anyone has taken care of us yet then it took another 10 to get out sodas and another 10 before they brought us silverware/took our orders which took almost 20 minutes just to come out decent but obviously not fresh. Good enough flavor but mediocre quality. No one checked on us so finally we asked who I assume was the manager for boxes. Multiple wait staff lingered around talking. We waited about 10 minutes and still no check. At that point a server and bus boy got into a full blown screaming march so we just went to the counter to pay and left. The guy working the counter apologized and said he has no idea what was going on tonight. But we were very obviously forgotten about, on a fairly slow night. If someone had at least acknowledged us and said they'd be right with us I wouldn't care at all. But everyone who helped us seemed surprised and inconvenienced by us being there. The gentleman who appeared to be the manager tried to be helpful but still did little to help the fact that we were just not getting service.

I was at this location for a bridal shower. They have a great separate space for private parties and the food was really good. Salad and delicious bread, penne alla vodka so good followed by a buffet of chicken francese chicken parm and eggplant parm. Our servers never left an empty glass and quickly cleared the tables.

Spuntino of Dix Hills is the best family Italian restaurant in the area. The food is always delicious and the bar area is a great spot to eat or grab a drink while you wait to be seated. I Highly Recommend Spuntino as it is a staple in Dix Hills.

Staff is excellent,from the moment you walk in someone is greeting you with a smile. The servers are ON IT all the time and there isn't a dish that I've had that isn't DELICIOUS. Their muscles in white sauce are to die for....as you leave all are wishing you a good night. I would say you won't be disappointed at Spuntinos.

Food was off the mark tonight. My wife loves their eggplant rollatini but tonight she had to send it back. No ricotta cheese in the filling. Just mozzarella. Meatballs were still good.

I was at this place last week. I was sitting in the middle of these 2 tables and the owner of this place came to these tables and asked how was everything, I thought that he was going to do the same thing to us and he didn’t. Not even a smile. I think it was because we are different colored skinned. We felt discriminated and we visit this place every other week because the food is great but I felt disappointed this time.

My old neighborhood pizza restaurant!! Still delicious after all these years!! Great pizza, wonderful rolls, and a great dinner menu as well. I make sure to stop in whenever I'm back in town!! Don't miss it, if you're in the area!!

Great little spot to have delicious Italian food! Walk in and sir for a slice of pizza or dine in the back room, you can also rent out the back room. The food is excellent and the staff is so friendly. I loved the food and I'm very picky when it comes to my Italian food!

Got a chicken panini, Cappellini cake, garlic knots, chicken bacon racnch slice, regular slice, and a spinch broccoli calzone Stromboli type of thing. Everything was excellent and delicious.

Spuntino hosted a retirement dinner for 40 people for us and did an amazing job! Drinks were amazing, food was incredible and the service could not be better. Everyone was raving about how great it was. Thank you! I'm sure you'll have a lot more customers in the future! Special shout out to Samantha who was our waitress for the night. She was amazing and constantly checked in with us to ensure a great party!!

The absolute best! Been going here for years and it truly never fails. Love the broccoli spinach pinwheels and pepperoni pinwheels.
